This is my favorite KOA everything is amazing the owner and staff are SUPER friendly and go out of their way to accomodate any issues or requests. The sites are immaculate and all have a min of fire pit and picnic table and the scenery is stunning. The facilities are super clean and the amenities are everywhere pool, horseshoes, huge dog park, games, common areas etc. this is a MUST STOP. *****

This is probably the most beautiful KOA we’ve seen. It’s very well kept and ultra clean. The staff were very personable and super helpful. We had an unexpected two day layover due to a brake issue and couldn’t have picked a nicer spot to hang out,

Only stayed one night. Site was level, didn’t have to unhook, a plus! Clean grounds.

The park is clean and well managed. Our site was spotless with a cute umbrella and patio. Nothing against the park, but road noise and train noise are inevitable due to location.

Great for a one night stop over. Nearby horses and cows bring pesky flies We were told the site would be long enough to not disconnect our toad but had to disconnect due to sewer hookups location.

I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised to see just how clean and very organized the entire campsite was. I quite possibly received the very best customer service that my wife and I have ever received before. It was truly a pleasure to see the staff actively keeping everything clean and organized throughput our stay.

It was a great stay. Super sweet personal and owner. They have a wonderful RV park with lots of things to keep Littles entertained and an amazing heated pool. We hope to get to visit again our next trip around.

This is a great KOA. Family owned and operated. Site was very level and clean. Staff was great, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area attractions. Reasonably priced too. Definitely would stay here again if in the area!!

Biggest drawback is distance to any larger city! Great staff, great facilities. Best for overnight stay between Casa Grande & Tucson.

Great location between Phoenix and Tucson. Park is well maintained and staff is very friendly and welcoming. Train and highway noise are only negative, but become white noise after a day or so.

We loved staying here. The park is clean and we liked the amount of space between RV's. The Trains at night brought back memories and the Rooster crowing in the morning was a nice wake up call. We will definitely recommend to our friends. It was a wonderful place for our "Shake Down" stay in our new Travel Trailer.

This has to be one of the best KOAs I have stayed at over the last 20+ years. It was very clean, was very pet friendly with several dog stations around the property as well as a dog run. The only amenity was the heated pool but the entire campground had a great ambiance. The dog pens were an extra surprise and came in very handy at our site.

We had a wonderful stay and the facilities were spotless. Certainly a good place to lay your head at night and feel refreshed in the morning.

Very clean campground and facilities. Friendly staff. Love the wide roads between camping rows and the variety of vegetation offering some shade. Nice views of mountains as well as horses and cattle. Wish the campground had some non-gravel walking paths for the sake of tender dog paws, but the Kamp K9 enclosure was nice and large. Loved the spacious end site I had. Nice for a night or a week!

Nice campground roomy sites.

Good place to stay to visit the local area like picacho state park or the casa grande ruins. The roads in the campground get pretty dusty so slow speed is a must. The size of the paw pens is a little small to be useful.

A very nice KOA located west of Tucson, Arizona and east of the I-10 and I-8 intersection near Casa Grande. Very close to Pacacho Peak mountain trails. Swimming pool is heated, very large room inside with seating, TV, games and book exchange. The host and owner was very friendly and accommodating. A very nice young man led us to our RV spot and made sure we had everything we needed. Level gravel sites and nice large lots. Very will priced! Also private RV spots with decks and fencing. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for welcoming us.

After several days at Picacho Peak State Park without full hookups, arriving at Picacho / Tucson NW KOA Journey felt like the kind of reset you do not fully appreciate until you need it. We arrived a bit early while the office was closed for lunch, but the large parking area out front made it easy to pull in, park, and have lunch without any stress. Once they reopened, check-in was smooth, everyone was friendly, and being escorted to our site was a great first impression. Our site was a large pull-through with full hookups (everything worked flawlessly), and even though you do not choose your own site, we ended up in one we likely would have picked ourselves. Site 69 was under a huge willow tree with a wide view over nearby farmland, and watching cows and horses grazing gave the whole stay a calm, open feel right away. The willow tree also provided real shade, which made a noticeable difference during the day. The biggest shift for us was how easy everything felt. After being without water and sewer, having full hookups again made this stop feel less like a pass through and more like a place to actually settle in and recharge. The gravel roads and gravel sites were straightforward to navigate, and the park felt very big-rig friendly with plenty of room to maneuver. Sites are well spaced and easy to pull into, with a layout that feels open rather than tight. It was also noticeably quiet. Despite being close to I-10, it felt surprisingly peaceful, especially at night, and with very few people around us it was easy to relax after more active stops earlier in the trip. From a family perspective, this KOA works really well. There is a playground, a dog park, and a large jellybean-shaped pool that gave the kids space to play and unwind. The rules for children were clear and reasonable, like staying with an adult and no playing after sunset, which helped keep the environment safe without feeling restrictive. One of the most memorable details was their “follow the rules, get a cookie” system. On our way out, our boys ran into the office to let them know they had followed the rules and came back out with cookies in hand. It was such a simple idea, but it made the experience feel personal and stuck with them more than anything else. We also had a bundle of firewood delivered right to our site, which was convenient and added to the overall ease of the stay. Overall, this is a great example of a stop that does more than just meet basic needs. It is practical, quiet, and well run, but also has enough thoughtful touches to make it feel welcoming and memorable. It works well for both a quick overnight stop or a few days to reset. If you are traveling through this part of Arizona and want a place where you can recharge, enjoy the stop, and feel genuinely welcomed, this is absolutely worth it.
