NIce place to stay. The restrooms were very clean. The pool was nice. The highway noise did get a bit annoying, especially at night. Nice gravel sites. Loved ours with the patio and rocking chairs. Would probably stay there again.

Stayed in the couples cabin. It was unique compared to other Kamping Kabins we have used in the past. Hosts supplied linens and everything else we needed. Grounds were clean, bathrooms were modern and well kept. Great spot for aa quick weekend get away.

My husband got stung twice by a hive of wasps living the electrical box. There something to be done regarding this issue. Otherwise everything was fine.

We enjoyed staying here that we asked if we could extend for another night. Very clean and the host Adriana was very friendly and professional. I recommend this KOA in the future as well.

Super clean, we liked the clubhouse when it got too hot in the tent. The bathrooms required a code to get in but perhaps this is normal for a KOA? Just kind of a pain if you are tent camping. The restrooms were hotel quality. We were in a tent and not bothered by the noise from the freeway. It just seemed more like background sound to us.

New to RVing and first time at a KOA, we had a great experience. Everyone was very kind and patient. They kept tabs on us to be sure our arrival went smoothly. The recently renovated shower/restrooms are very nice and clean. Icing on the cake was the infrequently traveled road directly outside the campground that provided us 18mi of bicycle riding!! We will definitely be back. Thank you!

It was a lovely site. However the location next to the freeway and railway was loud. There were also a lot of flies making it difficult to enjoy the outdoors.

Facilities were nice. We made an advance reservation prior to 2pm on the KOA app but our late arrival paperwork was not waiting for us when we showed up around 5:30pm.

Great stay

This KOA has easy on and off access to the I-10. The sites are good size with full grown trees for shade. The staff were friendly and efficient. This is a good overnight stop as your travel.

The location was clearly marked and easy to get to. Easy access (pull thru sites). Our standard sewage line was not quite long enough for us to stay connected to our trailer, so we pulled forward more and parked our vehicle behind (no biggie). The dog run was awesome. Very convenient having that. The bushes on the side were growing into the pen and made me a little nervous (AZ desert species).

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The grounds were clean and maintained. I had made last minute plans and was glad I stayed here.

Great place and great people that own and run the place. This is our go to place, just to get away for a while.

Pool was great. Showers and rest rooms were top notch. Camp site was good. Facilities were all serviceable. All gravel was nice. Pretty quiet but the freeway did make some noise. The owner was especially a treat. She was gracious, efficient, funny and just a delight. Very nice facility.

First impression of the owner was a bit off putting. We arrived 45 minutes early and she made sure we knew that even though the park was almost empty. But the grounds are immaculate and the amenities were well maintained. Beautiful foliage including a lemon tree. The only complaint, which has no reflection on the owners, is the highway noise and train noise (seemed to be every 30 minutes).

Located near the highway and train tracks, so a bit noisy. However, the location is convenient and grounds easily navigated even in the darkest night. Friendly and helpful staff. Office hours were posted, and open when stated. We had our free, hot coffee before heading out.

Located off the I-10. Easy access. Nice level pull through gravel sites. Quiet campground. Stayed only one night but would return for a longer stay if we are ever back in the area.

What an awesome stay we had. If I could give it more than a 5 star I would. This campground was clean and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. We originally were going to stay 2 weeks but decided to stay another week. The weather was just perfect for a day at the pool which is very clean. The laundry room was clean and the sites were level and spacious. will definitely be back

We stayed at 3 different KOAs on our family RV trip to Texas for the eclipse and this one stood out as the very best!!! It was impeccably clean, lots of amenities and a very welcoming, homey feel. The young woman who was working in the office was so friendly and helpful. We just loved this place!!

Good place to stay to visit the local area like picacho state park or the casa grande ruins. The roads in the campground get pretty dusty so slow speed is a must. The size of the paw pens is a little small to be useful.

A very nice KOA located west of Tucson, Arizona and east of the I-10 and I-8 intersection near Casa Grande. Very close to Pacacho Peak mountain trails. Swimming pool is heated, very large room inside with seating, TV, games and book exchange. The host and owner was very friendly and accommodating. A very nice young man led us to our RV spot and made sure we had everything we needed. Level gravel sites and nice large lots. Very will priced! Also private RV spots with decks and fencing. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for welcoming us.

After several days at Picacho Peak State Park without full hookups, arriving at Picacho / Tucson NW KOA Journey felt like the kind of reset you do not fully appreciate until you need it. We arrived a bit early while the office was closed for lunch, but the large parking area out front made it easy to pull in, park, and have lunch without any stress. Once they reopened, check-in was smooth, everyone was friendly, and being escorted to our site was a great first impression. Our site was a large pull-through with full hookups (everything worked flawlessly), and even though you do not choose your own site, we ended up in one we likely would have picked ourselves. Site 69 was under a huge willow tree with a wide view over nearby farmland, and watching cows and horses grazing gave the whole stay a calm, open feel right away. The willow tree also provided real shade, which made a noticeable difference during the day. The biggest shift for us was how easy everything felt. After being without water and sewer, having full hookups again made this stop feel less like a pass through and more like a place to actually settle in and recharge. The gravel roads and gravel sites were straightforward to navigate, and the park felt very big-rig friendly with plenty of room to maneuver. Sites are well spaced and easy to pull into, with a layout that feels open rather than tight. It was also noticeably quiet. Despite being close to I-10, it felt surprisingly peaceful, especially at night, and with very few people around us it was easy to relax after more active stops earlier in the trip. From a family perspective, this KOA works really well. There is a playground, a dog park, and a large jellybean-shaped pool that gave the kids space to play and unwind. The rules for children were clear and reasonable, like staying with an adult and no playing after sunset, which helped keep the environment safe without feeling restrictive. One of the most memorable details was their “follow the rules, get a cookie” system. On our way out, our boys ran into the office to let them know they had followed the rules and came back out with cookies in hand. It was such a simple idea, but it made the experience feel personal and stuck with them more than anything else. We also had a bundle of firewood delivered right to our site, which was convenient and added to the overall ease of the stay. Overall, this is a great example of a stop that does more than just meet basic needs. It is practical, quiet, and well run, but also has enough thoughtful touches to make it feel welcoming and memorable. It works well for both a quick overnight stop or a few days to reset. If you are traveling through this part of Arizona and want a place where you can recharge, enjoy the stop, and feel genuinely welcomed, this is absolutely worth it.
