Our first stay was kind of ok but our second stay was better. We had a nicer site the second time. Now when we come again we know what sites to ask fir.

Very good organized and maintain, very clean , no mosquitos . Staff are very friendly and helpful . Close to the beach, around 5 min driving . Very recommend this place to stay.

the place is wonderfully clean and the staff are very helpful and supportive. Our only issue related to other campers who did not respect the quiet hours.

We had a tent site but a family member had a cabin site, kids had lots of fun, park is well kept, will be booking a cabin next time

It was amazing, the tent sites are absolutely gorgeous and the bathroom was only a few minutes walk away from my site!

Staff was friendly and helpful at check-in. Would be nice if there was kindling available to purchase. We also had neighbours who started a fire at 1130pm and kept it going until after 130am. Other neighbours had a gang by their fire loudly chatting until after 1130pm. Would have thought staff would have done a tour in the evening to ensure rules were followed but not the end of the world.

I like the rules. Guests seem to be pretty compliant. The property was clean. The proprietors were very pleasant. The sites are very small but adequate for a short stay.

We will never return to this campground again due to harassment of the new owners and the non existence of their customer service and them refusing to talk to their customers to deal with situations. We have been coming to this campground for 15 years with and have brought them tons of business. I will not give another dollar to them! Disgusting behaviour on the owners part that !

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are sorry for your experiences,however we have clear rules to keep the campground in order ,but not a outlaw place. Every guest has to be registered before entering the campground and enjoy our facilities. Guest is not allowed to stay for another day after they checked out.

The camp site was damp no grass or sunlight. The neighbors next to us had 3 cars and 3 families on 2 campsites which is not aloud and had screaming kids up past 11pm. The neighbors were so ignorant we left a day early. Owen sound is beautiful but never again at that campsite.

We always enjoy our stay at the Owen Sound KOA. In the hot weather we appreciated the shade of our tent site.

Just booked no service camp site as was visiting friends.. found pricing for none service site to be a little heft.. site was very secluded as requested but could not get vehicle close to allow for pumping up air mattress conveniently, And had to carry all my stuff into site.. then the price if a small bag of wood was twice the price of anywhere else.. little outrageous..

Didn't find the experience the same as other KOA locations. Activities, bulk deals in wood, ice, etc just weren't there.

Got in late but were fortunate that a staff member was available for sale of firewood! Nice big site, lots of room, very few bugs in the cedar grove.

Overall very good. The first night the campers beside me were very loud until 12:30, swearing and just being noisy with no regard for anyone else.

Check in was easy, explanation of rules, washrooms were very clean, campsites were seen to be cleaned after every stay . Hosts very friendly and always waved going by for their security checks. We did have an issue with "punctures" over by the office I had 3- 1/2 inch staples puncture my clogs, my wife had one staple, she also found a nail on the road. A magnetic sweep should be done.

We stayed on a tent with Hydro site. Branches on trees could have been cut a little bit higher other than that was great big size site for all of our stuff.

Clean, spacious campsite - fire ring and picnic table incl.. This site (#67) didn't provide much privacy. Bathrooms were always clean - it is much appreciated. Office staff were friendly and willing to answer any questions. Quick access to the Bruce Trail, the campground's central location in Owen Sound and affordable rates were a definite asset. I will continue to camp here in the future.

As always our stay was awesome, very friendly staff and a super clean environment. My children and I have enjoyed this Koa location for years in the past and intend to enjoy in the future with my grandchildren

Spacious, very clean bathroom. We were assigned to site 67 that was a bit exposed and very close to the road. And the staff was very nice to help us to change to another area which is more in the forest. We walked around the tent area and everything looked good. It's just a suggestion, 67 may need to be improved because people who get 67 will not stay comfortably because the land is very sloping.
