Stayed for 4 nights with grandkids age 4 and 7. They did bike riding. Hiking. Swimming pool is great. Played in playground. Fed the fish in pond. Site nice and clean and private. Owners great.

Owners are very friendly pleasant people to deal with. Campground is kept clean. There is a pool, playground and hiking trails. Tent and RV sites as well as cabins.

We love it here. Cabin is clean and comfy. It’s set near the tree line within enough space between for privacy. The place is well kept and the pool clean. My kids love this pool. The staff are super friendly too.

Very clean place. Super friendly and great staff. The only suggestion would be to have an adult only time for the pool. Sometimes there were too many kids and you couldn’t swim without having some child jump on you!

We found our site very small but had a nice view of the pond. Our biggest dislike was the pool it was very cloudy in color and smelt of urine. many of the little kids in the pool did not have swim diapers on. We dipped in and immediately showered. As a person with a pool background the pool needed to be emptied 1/4 and fresh water added every night when that busy.

Very clean campground. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The sites are spacious and clean. The pool was warm and clean. The laundry machines are big and fast. I did not use the washrooms but I'm assuming by the rest of the campground that they are as clean as everywhere else. There is also a nice hiking trail at the back of the campground.

We liked the treed sites & how big they were. We had someone high/ drunk every day across from our campsite, at one point someone in our camping group saw the man walk outside of his tent with his pants down, fully exposed. He was awake at 3am next to the road, looking at our campsite in the dark when we went to go to the bathroom. Showers were dirty with some mold, cobwebs. Kids loved the pool

KOA Owen Sound is a very friendly,clean quiet place to camp! We are new to the trailer camping thing and had a short one night stay there.

Very quiet peaceful stay in well kept campground. Not many bells and whistles but close to everything. No traffic noise which was fantastic. Would love to see a water spray feature in the pond but that might disturb the fish! Would definitely return

Pond water is not flowing properly and is a mosquito heaven. In our three day stay the garbage bins and the recycling bins were completely full, never got emptied. Water in the pool was cloudy and seemed dirty. Definitely will not return nor recommend.

Before going to the Campground, I had requested a couple of requests, one being that cabin, be located partly shady area. I was thankful that I brought my gazebo to keep myself under the shade. no activities were advertised. And this campsite is infested with flies that kept me up all weekend long. It is so infested that my dogs didn’t sleep all night and only slept during the day.

I love visiting KOA and have been doing for more than 6 years at other KOA locations but this one was my first one at Owen Sound KOA. The place is beautiful and quiet. Our cabin was full of flies and bugs The moment we entered in the cabin, it took us hours to sort or get rid of all the flies. This could have been due to food or drink spilled on the floor by the previous guests.

It was good and frenly peple and i love the pool and the hiking trals and thre was a park for the kids to play in our kids where there most of the time and it was clean and a really nice park to camp in we will defnely come back

Pool needs better hours for young families. Open it at 930 or 10 am. The games room tables need to be free More activities for families needed. Cabins need to have some kind of fly spray. Longer hours for store. Store wood very expensive.

We had a 3 night stay with a 9 and 4 year old. Oool was great hit. Water was warm. Hiking trail had just enough challenges for the kids to do it daily. Weather was great. Camp was clean and nicely groomed. Staff was great.

We stayed for 2 nites. Very clean. Very quiet. Located on one of the highest points in Owen Sound. We used the pool and it was clean and warm. The only issue (not KOA's fault) is the GPS location. 28th Ave E becomes Concession 10 in Meaford. KOA appears to be in Meaford and not Owen Sound. If you select 28th Ave E, the entrance is approx 200-300m further south, so keep driving. You'll find it.

Everything was great, but what stood out the most was how kind and helpful the staff were. They made our stay very comfortable. We stayed in a dome, and the view around sunset was absolutely stunning. I’d love to come back again!

Staff were very friendly, sites were very clean. Shower, bathroom and pool was also very clean. Site was very quite at night, great view of the stars. Hiking trail took about 1/2 and hour and was a peaceful walk through the woods.

I’ll start with the good- well maintained grounds, lots of shade, gazebo not needed. The bad- The noisiest KOA we have ever been to. 11pm dance offs and late night arrivals with kids screaming and parents yelling. 11 am pool, limited store, expensive firewood, zero kids activities, cameras set up to watch sites, needs an ice cream hut and pancake spot,

Thank you for your feedback. Our team does patrol at night, but it's difficult to monitor every child at all times. Some noise is beyond our control. We do offer real milk-based shaved ice — hope you'll try it next time!

Staff, pool and area tranquility during the night is amazing. Unfortunately we constantly experienced bad smell of sewers, too many flies, dusty pathways, and lack of activities. Other campsites have much more activities, like family dancing night and Halloween parades, that could be enjoyed with your family without any stuff such as flies and bad smell to bother you.

Thank you for your review. The sewer smell is likely from nearby campers leaving their black tank valve open, which is beyond our control. We’ll continue reminding guests of proper use. We appreciate your suggestions and will consider more family activities in future.

We stayed on a camp site this past weekend with electrical/water and enjoyed our time with our little family! The kids loved the playground and pool, the bathrooms and showers were very clean and wasn't too far of a walk from the tent sites. The owners were wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

quick check in -- staff were friendly & courteous bathroom & showers were neat & clean, pool was nice on a warm day loved our site - listening to the cows mooing as they were going out to pasture & going back to the barn in the evening. Campground is well located & close to town -- we were able to ride our bikes for shopping & to explore the city. can't wait to go back again.
