This KOA is at a beautiful location. It is clean and well maintained. It has great amenities. Every employee that I encountered was so friendly and so helpful. One employee in particular, Rich Fogel, went out of his way to see that two older sisters traveling alone felt safe and comfortable.

We absolutely loved our time here. The pool is wonderful. The sound was amazing to swim in. The quiet is so pleasant. Everyone was so incredibly nice. We couldn’t wait to come back so we booked another visit. We also love the first responders discount. Thank you for everything.

The addition of the pool complex is awesome! Also the larger rental trailers are nice (from the outside, we have our own 5th wheel). The campground has lots to offer and is very well kept up. The water pressure was a little low but not at all like the 1st year it opened. Didn't use the boat taxi to OBX this year but it was great when we did it last year. Lots for kids to do also. We will be back.

We stayed at site 08. We considered it to be the best site in the campground. We were extremely happy. The employees were really friendly and helpful. The amenities provided: golf carts, boat shuttles and, pool made our stay even more enjoyable.

Very expensive, sites are very close.people next to us had two dachshunds that barked constantly. Pool too far away.

we totally enjoyed our stay this past week !! The campground is beautiful and the staff is super nice !! we defiantly will be back again. The only thing I would change is the pool hours being opening later than 6pm it’s nice to take a swim after a long day of shopping and with it closing this early we don’t get to do that.

Camp store could be stock with more items, maybe clerk could keep a list of requested items for future stocked items. Needed 9volt batteries for fire detectors, were not in stock

We loved the campground. It was very clean and neat. The only complaint is you need better access to the Currituck Sound for swimming. The ladder it very narrow and doesn't reach the bottom.

Loved our weekend getaway. While our site was a little tight, we loved our view. Staff is fantastic! AND the new pool is a wonderful addition for the hot summer days. Keep up the great work.

We had an amazing stay at this campground! The staff was always nice, friendly, and welcoming. There were plenty of activities for our whole family to enjoy, and the bathhouse was consistently clean throughout our visit. We especially loved the taxi shuttle and the sunset cruise they offer. Both were convenient, enjoyable, and added even more fun to our our family vacation. We will be back!!

All went well except Lots of wind which KOA cannot control. We hope it will be better in the fall when we have reservations to go back. Just love being there. Great local church, Coinjock Baptist Church. Also the Marina Restaurant just down the road. Great food there. So looking forward to getting back.

Cannot say enough about this place. Its like a 5 star resort but you can bring your own bed. From activities available for everyone to the quiet comfort of your site. This place will check all your boxes. I love all the staff members here. They really care about you having a wonderful experience from checking in one the first day, till your last day. Never Disappointed when we visit

The staff was amazing. Aw we arrived to start our camping vacation we were greeted with smiles and friendly hello. The grounds were phenomenal including the new pool. We have been coming here last the few years and this was a welcome addition. We had a great stay. The music on Saturday was great as well. We will be back again soon.

We really enjoyed our stay. The campground is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The amenities are great. Our only complaint is the time the pool closes. It would be nice if the hours were like the Virginia Beach KOA; 9am until 9pm. It is the earliest pool closing time of any KOA we have stayed at. Other than the pool hours, we really enjoyed it and will be back. Hopefully with updated pool hours.

Beautiful park & wonderful staff. Really enjoyed it there especially being so close to the ocean. We had biscuits and coffee from the snack bar and it was all delicious. Thx for a great stay! Plan to return in the future.

Bad weather weekend, nature problem not KOA problem. Premium sights are a little close to each other no separation between camping units.

Great KOA and plenty of things to do for kids. Kayak and fishing rod rentals are great. $65 per night for a golf cart rental is overpriced, but needed to access the pool since it’s so far from the campsites. WiFi is terrible and water pressure is too low. Recommend keeping the camp store open later than 7PM on long holiday weekends. Overall great stay. We’ll be back.

We absolutely loved our experience and site O-10! The rain didn’t stop us! The staff members were so friendly which made the experience even better. We’ve been to other KOAs and dealt with very rude staff which ruins the whole experience. Facilities were clean and the pool was great. My only suggestion is when someone rents a golf cart - it should at least been wiped off.

The best KOA we have stayed at! Sites were nice size and mostly level. Even with all the rain we had our site never puddled or flooded. The view is beautiful and the new pool was wonderful. Quiet and relaxing and friendly people all around.

We have stayed here twice before with no issues and usually love it. Unfortunately this time was a little different. We couldn't use our fire pit because the neighbors slide out was just about over our fire ring. I was looking forward to sitting by the fire and relaxing and couldn’t even do that. I have much more to say but it won’t allow me to.

The whole experience was great. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The location is incredible with sunrise views and ample waterfront for all guests to share. There are tons of activities for the kids with new events each day. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed the week before Memorial Day weekend. It was quiet and not busy. Camp store hours are odd, pool hours are also strange compared to other KOAs. Pool closes at 6 everyday, with longer days or could definitely stay open until 8. Dog park was well taken care of as well as the grounds. My MIL rented a cabin and it looked line it had water damage at one time, floors were very weak and uneven.

Staff was not very helpful. Was surprised that there was no garbage pickup. First for me at a koa. Not sure if there was firewood and ice delivery to site, never clear answers.

Good place for relaxing. Enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every night. Loved the pool and kayaking on the sound. Enjoyed the nature trail. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

This park is large, visually clean, and well-maintained. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and they do their best to assist guests. The park is almost there, but there is only one dumpster location, so you'll likely want to rent a golf cart if you're staying farther away. The biggest reason we're taking stars off is the overwhelming fly problem. There were thousands—possibly tens of thousands—of house flies during our stay, and they affected every part of our family's experience. Simply opening my truck windows while connecting our truck and trailer resulted in hundreds of flies getting inside. There is nothing dead or rotting in my vehicle; the flies are coming from the surrounding area. The flies constantly bother people and pets and make it difficult to enjoy being outdoors or do so much as leave your car window open for more than a minute. There is no leaving your camper door open either, even with a screen. Even after leaving the park, I still have hundreds of flies in my truck. Unfortunately, this issue significantly impacted an otherwise pleasant stay.

Just finished up a weekend with my 5yr grandson. We brought him here last year also. This is his special trip of the year. Never disappointed. I cannot say enough about the staff and quality of entertainment. Dinosaur weekend was amazing. From Jurassic Park trilogy movies playing in the garage, to Lizard King bringing his reptiles, then to making amazing KOA Tye Dye shirts that we were able to decorate and bring home. Craft tables, games.... Mary is one of the staff members here that stood out to us. She has been the face of entertainment and crafts for us for our past few visits. So sweet and nice and definitely helpful in the arts & crafts, and always available to help out. I wish I knew everyone's names here bc each of them played such a huge part in us having so much fun this weekend. From the store front, pool, garage, sites,grounds, activities. Everyone in the staff was just amazing. The facilities were impeccable. We really love coming here. Campsites level,clean. Views are amazing. This year they had the water taxi and kayaks available. We didnt use them, however we did see them being used. So much for a lil'one to do here. To also make it more special, due to the wind we couldnt use our fire pit due to us being waterside, however the play area has them (less windy inland) and of course this wonderful place had their firepits roaring and provided amazing music by Heather, and smores by the main firepits that was provided for everyone. Just can not say enough how much this place makes each trip so special. Thank you so much and see you again next visit.

Great place, super friendly staff, nice amenities, fun activities. It is a little pricey but expected of a place with such beautiful views. Our only complaint is the pool hours. It is open from 10am until 6pm, the earliest of any campground we have stayed at. Hopefully, the will extend the hours until 8 or 9pm in the future. Other than the pool hours, our stay was great and relaxing.
