We had a great time. This was our first time at a KOA and our first time camping with our camper. We absolutely enjoyed our time their and look forward to exploring more KOA locations

First, it's too expensive for the facilities, in very poor condition. The sites are very close to each other. Imagine my neighbor couldn't open his camper curtain, it was right next to mine. There's no pool, and the facilities are terrible. What a shame. I visited many KOAs on the east coast of the USA and, looking at the photos on the website, I thought they were great for the price. We had a fantastic time at this campground! We had a view of the sound with gorgeous sunrise/sunsets. The water taxi over to Carova Beach Park to view the Banker wild mustangs was a highlight of our trip! We had an attentive and knowledgeable skipper and first mate that made for a memorable trip. Highly recommend this campground!

Beautiful rv park and area , also has kids activities, rv park has boat ride to see wild horses and beach , also have shuttle bus to vineyard and restaurant ! 40 minutes away from several beach , farm stands and towns !!

Didn't see any handicap accessible swimming. Highly disappointed with the lack of a pool or an accessible swimming area for small children and handicap people.

Beautiful water views & free paddle boards/kayaks were lovely. But no basics (milk, tampons) in the store & pool delayed to fall 2025 was a bummer with 2 littles. Bathhouse was just okay. Had an uncomfortable encounter with a man who was the owners brother, he claimed. Location & amenities were good, but the vibe wasn’t it for me.

It was nice and peaceful. The camp store had the essentials and a great little café. Pimento and bacon grilled sub was delicious! The bathhouse was really clean. Dogs were welcome everywhere, even the store.

We enjoyed our trip here for my son’s birthday. We were looking forward to going to the beach and unfortunately the shuttle won’t available but we still enjoyed ourselves. Playground, bounce pad, volley ball, paddle board & kayaking was very enjoyable. We will be returning.

this is my favorite place to camp. I was a little disappointed that the pool was not ready, but overall, the staff and amenities and activities in the area are phenomenal.

Nice location, friendly employees. Some sites are very small. No water taxi to Timbuck II as stated on website. Arcade was “temporarily” closed our entire stay. Still waiting on plugs for paddle boards. Be aware of midges, especially if your in a site under trees and the wind is calm.

Beautiful campground right beside the sound. Very friendly and helpful staff and bath house was extremely clean and nice. Bugs are ferocious in the summertime, but that’s typical for the area. Campground is getting a pool soon, which it needs desperately.

Loved our site location. Have booked for next year in June already at the same site we stayed in. Might consider April too!! Not far from family who moved here within the last year

Although we usually stay at KOA Resorts, and are used to more "bougie" amenities, this campground did not disappoint. From the fishing & swimming to the well stocked store, we had a blast. We were shocked by the free shuttles & the water taxi and when I inquired about the cost of renting a kayak or paddle board, I didn't expect it to be free! Staff was wonderful! We'll be back. �ϋ�

Campground has a lot of potential. It’s far away from everything and they have no pool. Store hours are not late.

Nice, clean, well-kept campground with great views of the sound and outstanding staff. It was, however, disappointing that the swimming pool was not ready as advertised or even constructed (as far as I could tell).

Beautiful campground, friendly helpful staff! Once the pool is added and if the camp store stayed open a little longer it's gonna be a great campground. Hookups were convenient for our rig and the site outdoor furniture on the deluxe sites were so nice!

We loved this KOA for the great location, incredible views and wonderful amenities. The staff was helpful and easily accessible and the campground were well-maintained and perfectly outfitted for our RV trip with our family of 5.

Had a very relaxing stay. All the staff were wonderful and put on a great carnival weekend that my 4yr old granddaughter loved. She had a blast and enjoyed the swimming as well. This was our second stay and would recommend!

Beautiful setting but lacked amenities (mini golf & pedal carts) that were advertised in the KOA directory. Camp store hours were too limited for the summer season. We were unable to do activities such as the arcade or the food options due to the short hours. Enjoyed the jumping pad and nice playground but had children that were disappointed to not be able to do other things. Staff was friendly!

We really enjoyed our stay! The only thing that was a little MEH was the wildlife. We saw two snakes while we were there. One of the snakes was in a grassy area by the camping store so after that we really kept to the graveled/paved areas while walking our dogs. The other was near the marshy tent camping area. Wildlife is a part of camping! The workampers were there quickly and handled them!

This park is large, visually clean, and well-maintained. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and they do their best to assist guests. The park is almost there, but there is only one dumpster location, so you'll likely want to rent a golf cart if you're staying farther away. The biggest reason we're taking stars off is the overwhelming fly problem. There were thousands—possibly tens of thousands—of house flies during our stay, and they affected every part of our family's experience. Simply opening my truck windows while connecting our truck and trailer resulted in hundreds of flies getting inside. There is nothing dead or rotting in my vehicle; the flies are coming from the surrounding area. The flies constantly bother people and pets and make it difficult to enjoy being outdoors or do so much as leave your car window open for more than a minute. There is no leaving your camper door open either, even with a screen. Even after leaving the park, I still have hundreds of flies in my truck. Unfortunately, this issue significantly impacted an otherwise pleasant stay.

Just finished up a weekend with my 5yr grandson. We brought him here last year also. This is his special trip of the year. Never disappointed. I cannot say enough about the staff and quality of entertainment. Dinosaur weekend was amazing. From Jurassic Park trilogy movies playing in the garage, to Lizard King bringing his reptiles, then to making amazing KOA Tye Dye shirts that we were able to decorate and bring home. Craft tables, games.... Mary is one of the staff members here that stood out to us. She has been the face of entertainment and crafts for us for our past few visits. So sweet and nice and definitely helpful in the arts & crafts, and always available to help out. I wish I knew everyone's names here bc each of them played such a huge part in us having so much fun this weekend. From the store front, pool, garage, sites,grounds, activities. Everyone in the staff was just amazing. The facilities were impeccable. We really love coming here. Campsites level,clean. Views are amazing. This year they had the water taxi and kayaks available. We didnt use them, however we did see them being used. So much for a lil'one to do here. To also make it more special, due to the wind we couldnt use our fire pit due to us being waterside, however the play area has them (less windy inland) and of course this wonderful place had their firepits roaring and provided amazing music by Heather, and smores by the main firepits that was provided for everyone. Just can not say enough how much this place makes each trip so special. Thank you so much and see you again next visit.

Great place, super friendly staff, nice amenities, fun activities. It is a little pricey but expected of a place with such beautiful views. Our only complaint is the pool hours. It is open from 10am until 6pm, the earliest of any campground we have stayed at. Hopefully, the will extend the hours until 8 or 9pm in the future. Other than the pool hours, our stay was great and relaxing.
