The KOA team made our stay so enjoyable. Dan and Victoria in the camp store went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. They, along with Tim, were so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. The team really made this KOA one of our favs!

We had a wonderful time! The only thing I will say the bathrooms were good during the day in the morning after people being in they get dirty quick. So maybe in between morning showers or going in early cause the bugs were bad in the bathroom. But other then that we will be back :)

Very nice staff, grounds and restrooms etc kept very clean and nice. All activities are geared to children and families was my only dislike. Older folks like to have fun to! Bingo, cornhole, etc we can do. None offered. Most activities were and hour or less. Loved golf cart trails!! Beautiful water views from most sites.

It was quiet and relaxing - just what we needed. Cindy at Happy Jack’s Cafe made a great hot dog, and the ice cream was excellent. One of the most important features of any campground to us is a dog park, and this one was spotless every time we took our pup there.

Loved the waterfront location, but sites are short and narrow. Had to park tow vehicle in overflow lot and patio was behind camper so not the most ideal location for it. We felt really squeezed in.

Campsite was clean and all the staff very friendly and helpful. Very informative about things to see and helpful in the ins and outs of the attractions.

Great location and many amenities! It was SUPER hot the weekend we stayed here and there’s not a lot of shade, but you get a great breeze off the sound and can always take a quick dip in the water to stay cool. This was our first KOA stay and we were thoroughly impressed!

Staff were very nice and helpful ... they were not in charge of the hot weather. We did note very low water preasure on Sunday am.

Very pleasant. The staff was fantastic especially Christine. Will definitely go again, hopefully with not so much wind. But it did keep some of the bugs away

Wish there was a pool, water was too choppy to get in. My granddaughter had fun at arcade, peddle cars and playground.

The front desk staff were extremely friendly, the campground was clean and had great amenities. We walked in to the campground store on Tuesday night, 15 minutes before close and the employee made us a pizza although it was almost closing time. She was so sweet about it and it was delicious! We would definitely stay again and recommend to others!!

Pros- staff very friendly every day we were there. Bathrooms clean. Laundry facility worked. Kayak rentals were nice. Cons- brochure advertised water taxi and free float rentals which are not true. You pay floats. No vegan options. No shade- very hard to cool camper. Mini golf was meant for preschool kids. No pool table in the arcade. Will not return here. Unsure we can trust KOA.

Always enjoy our stay at this campground. The convenience of the store is a plus. They usually have some type of planned activities. This time they had a Jeep activity and food trucks and music. They have a nice dog park for the dogs to run in. Conveniently located in the center of the campground.

It was awesome as always!!! From the time we arrived to the time departed was fantastic! People who I have never met were telling us to have a safe trip! WOW! I need one thing……I need someone to come and get all these little frogs and mosquitoes we brought back! We will definitely be back to relax!

Everything was great! The staff at the office when we checked in were very helpful and friendly. The man that escorted us to our campsite did a great job showing us the power, water, sewer and cable TV connections. He was also polite and friendly. The bath house was always very clean. We loved that it was air conditioned and had great music playing. Overall I rate this beautiful KOA 10 Stars!

We came for 3 days and stayed at a waterfront site in our travel trailer. What an enjoyable and relaxing time. Loved the swimming pier and LOVE the steps to get into the water.

Awesome sunrise and sunsets. All the kids in the campground had lots to do. Only con: The live rock band was loud and ran long. The flyer said until 9:00 PM but it was more like 10:30 or later.

Very well kept resort! The spaces are gravel and level and plenty of space between spots. Lots of things for kids to do. Bathrooms were super clean and tended to throughout the day. Our space had a really nice seating area overlooking the water. We were only there a few days to spend time at Outer Banks, so that is a journey. We would've stayed closer, had we realized. The speed signs are no joke…from the KOA where there's only one way in and out (the police were waiting to ticket a little outside the entrance) and all through the Outer Banks. We saw so many people pulled over (including us). Just pay attention because the speed changes fairly often.

Beautiful place. They have everything you need to recharge. My husband and I stayed here before some races. We really enjoyed it. We were here during the week, so we didn't get to go in the store. It looked like it had some cool stuff.
