The camp grounds were very nice and the staff was pleasant. Our cabin was dirty. The stove was covered in hair and food. There was a dead frog in a ball of dust that was behind the bathroom door. Dead bugs smashed all over the walls and ceilings. I get the bugs…. But I was confused about the warning of being upcharged for smashing bugs and then still seeing the bugs from the previous guests.

We had a wonderful stay. The view of the sound from our cabin porch was beautiful. We had such a nice breeze and it was shaded in the afternoon and evenings. It was so enjoyable. Our cabin was nice and comfortable. However, my Mom did get quite a few bug bites from our stay. She went to the Dr as soon as we returned home and the doctor said they were bed bugs. She is on prednisone.

The stay was absolutely perfect from check in to check out it was such a great experience for me that I added a night and decided to leave Tuesday and come back Saturday to Wednesday again it’s peaceful and stress free all the office staff was amazing and let’s not forget to mention the food in the little store I’m pretty sure I bought all their mozzarella sticks ���� looking forward to go

Glad to see the camp store being well managed again. We had a great visit, even though a serious thunderstorm knocked out our cabin’s AC. The manager offered us another cabin and refunded that night’s fee, which was generous and much appreciated. We’ll be back. Friends admiring our photos will be booking, too!

It was a nice facility. But not hardly anything for kids to do. Some stuff interactions were very unpleasant and rude. I understand that people have bad days but the way they talked to toddlers (the parents do/did a great job of keeping their kids inline) was unprofessional.

1st time staying in the cottages, we have stayed many times in our B-Van RV. We brought our granddaughter so needed more space. We loved the cottage! AC worked great, great water pressure in shower, everything was very clean and beds were comfortable.the kitchen had the basic things but next time i would bring a larger skillet and larger baking sheet. Loved it! Will be back!

Wonderful stay beginning to end. Every accommodation you can think of incl. boat trips, fishing gear, kayaks, camp store. Soooo much to do! Cabins had beautiful views and comfortable. Staff went above and beyond and super friendly! Would definitely stay here again!!!

The check in & out process was smooth, ALL the workers were friendly & helpful. The cabin we rented was clean & everything in working order. Quiet. Good for children & dogs. They had a playground, & jump pad on site, small fenced in dog area, fire pits, lots of extra seatings. We appreciated the planned events & store/food on site. I wish they had a beach area instead of just a dock to jump off.

Campground was well kept and the activities were were great! The only complaint, which the campground has no control over was the noseeums. Man do they bite and itch! Great place, can’t wait till the pool is in!

Stayed a full week . Staff was great . The camper we rented showed its age and had a few problems. But when brought up to the staff they was very quick in fixing what was wrong . We will definitely stay here again

Very friendly staff and a great camp store with pizza, wings, subs and ice cream.lot's of outdoor activities for everyone. Only con was a serious red ant problem on the covered porch area but other than that is was fantastic.

While the area and people were nice it was very far away from everything, even local stores. Also, I was pretty disappointed in the rv we stayed in. Extremely small, not very clean, and probably should have been taken out of commission as the front steps were being held up with a concrete block and a piece of wood.

We rented a RV, A01. We did not have water in the RV. When I mentioned it to the front worker, she said to give it time. Well, 4 days later, we still did not have water. The floor had obvious water damage and had many soft spots. We did not let these things ruin our trip, but it was worth mentioning again to someone.

The staff were great! Karen was helpful and answered all of our questions pertaining to the events happening around the campsite. My RV was nice however it was too hot to sleep in the bunk beds and our RV flooded on our last day but overall good trip.

Very peaceful campground. We would like to see “more things to do” not just during the weekday, but weekends should be fun filled and plenty of activities and entertainment to enjoy. A softer mattress for the RV beds would also be nice. Overall, we enjoyed every minute of it. Will definitely be back. Just would like more for our buck. Happy campers :)

Our first RV stay at KOA Currituck was amazing! The RV was clean, cool, and stocked with essentials—pots, plates, silverware, paper goods, and detergent. We loved fishing from the pier, grabbing ice cream, and making s’mores by the campfire. The kids enjoyed the playground, jumping pad, and fireshow. Staff and guests were friendly. Highly recommend!

The campground was very nice with a lot of cool amenities. All of the staff that we came across was very friendly. Our rv was perfect! Our only complaints were the mattress on the bef and we misunderstood the info and didn't bring g a float.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The cabins are very clean. My only suggestion is maybe put up a couple more racks or hooks in the bathroom for towels. We've already booked for next year! See you next year.

We are so excited that you are putting the pool in. We do wish there was a beach area where you can get into the sound without jumping off the pier. It would be better for the kids and the fur babies. Who are scared to jump.

Our stay was great but there are no extra ladders to get out of the water so we had to use our own ladder!! And the second disappointing thing was the cabin that I paid a hefty price for had no local cable channels!!! Literally like 4 channels and that was it. Otherwise it was beautiful there and we will be back.

It was a very nice quiet place to stay. The restaurant didn’t have many choices of food items like the other koa places I’ve stayed. We had no WiFi connection either which would have been nice. It was nice to have complementary boat rides to the beach area. It was a long walk to the beach but very nice area.

Stayed 6/22-29 in a rented KOA RV (100' weather). 4th KOA (Swannanoa, VA Beach, Cherokee) since 2024. PLUSES: Modern, clean bathhouse w/ music + AC! Friendly, attentive staff (Team Noca Rocks)! Modern, cool, event center, store, laundry. MINUSES: BAD AC + low quality RVs, LITTLE SHADE, no beach/pool, few amenities, site look + layout, TOO many RVs too close vs cabins, remote area, few food options

we stayed from Friday till Sunday we were in town for a baseball tournament, and we all stayed as a team. the kids loved the fishing as did the adults and the swimming in the beach water.

We had a great time during our stay. Our cabin was the perfect location and was great for our family of four. The beds were also super comfortable and would love to know the brand :-) the staff was super friendly and the campground and all of the facilities were very clean! When we booked the cabin the website said the new pool would be open but they haven't started any construction on the pool. The mini golf course was taken down and the arcade was closed. The sunset cruises that are advertised were not running. We were very disappointed that those items were advertised when we booked last year but when we got there for our stay they were not able to be utilized.

3 night stay in one of there trailers. Trailer is 4 yrs old, according to build sticker, and was in very questionable shape. Not made for the frequency of use it gets. Staff is amazing! Great piece of property BUT a long way from the causeway to OBX. Needs way more trees planted to increase shaded site options. Facilities were nice, could use more attention throughout the day.

We stayed for 2 nights in a waterfront RV rental and overall had a great experience. The convenience, amenities, and friendly staff really stood out. However, we were a bit disappointed that the "waterfront" view was blocked by overgrown bushes. For $30 more per night, we expected a better view. If they If they trimmed that area up, it would easily be a 5-star stay!

Great place! They took care of the leak in RV rental when we reported it. The only negative was queen matteress in RV rental was sunken in middle so not comfortable. Looking forward to the pool! Staff and owners were outgoing and very accomodating!

Thank you for helping us out with accommodations for our grandson and his wife. Tent camping in all that rain is not what they planned for�. They loved staying in the cabins�ϋ�. This park is large, visually clean, and well-maintained. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and they do their best to assist guests. The park is almost there, but there is only one dumpster location, so you'll likely want to rent a golf cart if you're staying farther away. The biggest reason we're taking stars off is the overwhelming fly problem. There were thousands—possibly tens of thousands—of house flies during our stay, and they affected every part of our family's experience. Simply opening my truck windows while connecting our truck and trailer resulted in hundreds of flies getting inside. There is nothing dead or rotting in my vehicle; the flies are coming from the surrounding area. The flies constantly bother people and pets and make it difficult to enjoy being outdoors or do so much as leave your car window open for more than a minute. There is no leaving your camper door open either, even with a screen. Even after leaving the park, I still have hundreds of flies in my truck. Unfortunately, this issue significantly impacted an otherwise pleasant stay.

Just finished up a weekend with my 5yr grandson. We brought him here last year also. This is his special trip of the year. Never disappointed. I cannot say enough about the staff and quality of entertainment. Dinosaur weekend was amazing. From Jurassic Park trilogy movies playing in the garage, to Lizard King bringing his reptiles, then to making amazing KOA Tye Dye shirts that we were able to decorate and bring home. Craft tables, games.... Mary is one of the staff members here that stood out to us. She has been the face of entertainment and crafts for us for our past few visits. So sweet and nice and definitely helpful in the arts & crafts, and always available to help out. I wish I knew everyone's names here bc each of them played such a huge part in us having so much fun this weekend. From the store front, pool, garage, sites,grounds, activities. Everyone in the staff was just amazing. The facilities were impeccable. We really love coming here. Campsites level,clean. Views are amazing. This year they had the water taxi and kayaks available. We didnt use them, however we did see them being used. So much for a lil'one to do here. To also make it more special, due to the wind we couldnt use our fire pit due to us being waterside, however the play area has them (less windy inland) and of course this wonderful place had their firepits roaring and provided amazing music by Heather, and smores by the main firepits that was provided for everyone. Just can not say enough how much this place makes each trip so special. Thank you so much and see you again next visit.

Great place, super friendly staff, nice amenities, fun activities. It is a little pricey but expected of a place with such beautiful views. Our only complaint is the pool hours. It is open from 10am until 6pm, the earliest of any campground we have stayed at. Hopefully, the will extend the hours until 8 or 9pm in the future. Other than the pool hours, our stay was great and relaxing.
