Comparable to other KOA, our cabin is so well spaced that privacy still exist. Very clean and well kept grounds. Quiet time was honored.

Cabin and other areas of the grounds exceptional clean. Beds were comfy, cable reception was very good, and the service was great! Relaxing time. We enjoyed ourselves.

Enjoyed fishing but more cleaning stations would be nice. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Boats should not be able to anchor close to the seawall, some guy lost his anchor where someone could get hurt not knowing it's there.

We had a great time. Very quiet campground. They offer a lot of amenities. Would be excellent if there was also a pool or mini water park. Downsides - noticed that RV spaces are very close together. We stayed in a cabin, and it was very nice but a little overpriced IMO and comparing to other campgrounds we've been to. The discounted tickets to H2OBX water park is great.

By far this is my family’s favorite KOA we’ve tried. This was our 3rd time staying in a cabin and it’s always a great time. The water is beautiful! Secluded location but close enough to restaurants and shops if you wanted to venture out.

Stayed there last year great time and professional staff. This year ran into a few staff members who I did not see there last year. Not especially nice wish I knew there names for you. Wasn’t my favorite. Campground was very peaceful and staff were nice. However the Cabin we stayed in wasn’t the cleanest and the porch ceiling needed to be pressure washed bad. Bugs were terrible which I know is just apart of nature. The option to do kayaking was nice but water was choppy most of the time we were there so didnt get to utilize that. Stayed four days and the only thing that could have been better was all the insects. I think we’re going back when it gets cooler and it may improve. The employee’s couldn’t have been better.

We probably will not rent cabins anymore. There became this excessive list of things to bring and things to do before you leave. When we got there, the cabin wasn’t that clean and we put prepared it in a cleaner ourselves. moving forward it’s too expensive to be renting the cabin & bringing all of your own linens doing all of your own cleaning before you leave. What an awesome group of owners/ workers!!! Especially Chris at the front desk. We had a very large group and everyone thought she was awesome. It is a smaller KOA but they offer so much. We went kayaking, played beer bingo, kids painted ducks and played golf car water wars, all for free!!! Only down side we had were the bugs at night but not the campgrounds fault. Definitely a great time!!!

Great location on the sound! The staff is great! The bugs are a pain, there were a lot splattered on the walls. But you’re camping so what do you expect? The frogs were super cute. The cabins are very spacious. I have a 4 star solely on the amenities. Being this far out - there should be a pool and maybe a bar a min. Otherwise great place!

This was an unplanned get away. Luckily there was availability for the same day and reserving the lodging was easy. Everyone was friendly upon our arrival. The lodging is in very good condition and very clean. The store is well stocked and the staff are very friendly. The entertainment (Saturday night live band) was good. Check out was easy. First time visit, will be back and bring friends! Thanks

This will be on our list to come back next year. The cabin was upgraded for us to a waterfront upon arrival. Our family loved the all inclusive activities for all our ages groups. The staff was super responsive to repair a bed frame for us our first morning up, however, we will bring a mattress pad next year to soothe our backs for better relaxation and sleep. The first night I couldn't sleep because of the severe noise of the air conditioner in the main bedroom. The next day we notified the office. Maintenance came to check and he said he couldn't fix it right now. We couldn't use the main bedroom we had to sleep in a bunk bedroom without air conditioning. We complained, only to be told we were sorry, we did not receive any compensation.

Well of course there's insects bugs that's you're used to cuz it's near the water but they now took out all the screens in the porch but online it's not there so I left early and I got a refund but I guess I won't go there again I'll go to the another location but the staff is very nice or if you don't care it's a beautiful place

We have stayed at multiple KOA'S and were very disappointed with our 3 night stay. There were large yellow stains on our matress covers. The floors of our cabin were very dirty (feet black after walking) tons of dead bugs in window seals, cobwebs on ceilings with dead gnats. We called the front upon day of arrival, noone would answer so we had to walk to office to ask questions, nothing resolved,

Awesome first time there. Every employee was very friendly and happy to help and answer any question that came up. Very well kept grounds and plenty for the kiddos. And had a good time fishing. We are already talking about coming back next year!!!!!

This is a beautiful campground with plenty to do. The stag was very friendly and helpful. I loved that they were dressed as Pirates for Pirate weekend.

Currituck is OUR favorite KOA! We come back every year and keep hoping that no one else finds out about this awesome, relaxing, getaway :) The cabins are the perfect size and we can take our foster dogs. The staff is always super friendly and they always have the best icecream!

We really enjoyed our stay here with the exception of the bugs at night. You couldn't sit outside even with the breeze. They are tiny little bugs that bite like mosquitos. Maybe when it is not too hot for a fire in the fire pit, bugs may not be as bad. Our wifi did not always work on our end but my son on the other end of campground had no problem with his. Nice place to relax.

Staff is great, plenty of activities for the kids, cabins are clean. You do need to add cleaning the filters in the ac units as part of routine maintenance as they were filthy and this will help with the efficiently and long term life of the unit. Other than that PERFECT!!

My grandson and I had a great grandmother/ grandson one on one weekend. The activities offered were fun and events were fun. We had a great time. I just wish you were able to have a pool. Your employees were extremely helpful and polite. Can't wait to go again.

We had a water view cabin with an amazing view! The original cabin we had booked had a/c problems so they gave us a free golf cart rental for our stay which we ended up loving! Hard to find good customer service like that! Would highly reccomend!

Beautiful place. They have everything you need to recharge. My husband and I stayed here before some races. We really enjoyed it. We were here during the week, so we didn't get to go in the store. It looked like it had some cool stuff.
