We went swimming and floated on tube. Fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding. Biking. Day trips to Southern shore and Duck nc. Relaxing and quiet KOA. Rv space could be a little bigger. Bring a strong outdoor fan to keep the bugs away. A must to enjoy the evening time. Be going here for many years now and will be back. Thanks

Beautiful waterfront site. Sites were a bit tight, but we only had a neighbor one night. Staff was very friendly!

Beautiful property. Don't stay under a tree. My trailer was covered in bird droppings including my truck. Spent 2 hours after arriving home washing down both units. Other than that, may be a little over priced.

Awesome first time there. Every employee was very friendly and happy to help and answer any question that came up. Very well kept grounds and plenty for the kiddos. And had a good time fishing. We are already talking about coming back next year!!!!!

Had a great time. Our first night wasn't so great do to mosquitos, but Chris at the front desk moved us to a better location right on the water. She was very sweet, understanding, nice, and helpful. She even gave some great recommendations for tours to see the wild horses and dolphins.

We love this KOA. It's very relaxing and friendly. The scenery is gorgeous. Such beautiful sunsets. You're right on the water of the sound. It's about 35mins from the OBX. It's a fast and nice ride. The sayings on the campground you'll be able to spend to see the attractions around. Seafood galore.

This is a beautiful campground with plenty to do. The stag was very friendly and helpful. I loved that they were dressed as Pirates for Pirate weekend.

Great campground with wonderful amenities! This KOA has worked hard over the last few years to provide their guests with a great vacation! Office, Parking and Camp store staff were AMAZING! Highly recommend.

So peaceful. Staff were friendly but could have been more informative about power outage Sunday that lasted a few hours. They may not have known exact cause but any info they obtained would have been great. However still one of our favorite places.

Currituck is OUR favorite KOA! We come back every year and keep hoping that no one else finds out about this awesome, relaxing, getaway :) The cabins are the perfect size and we can take our foster dogs. The staff is always super friendly and they always have the best icecream!

It would have made the stay 100 percent better if there was a pool. Not everyone like to swim in the brackish water.

Fantastic stay at OBX West KOA. I hope you are able to change the minds of the county and can get a pool installed, that is the only thing missing imo, although the sound is absolutely perfect for swimming, it’s just nice to have options. The crew working this season is the best ever, everyone is nice and friendly, we really look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Camp site was nicely designed but lacked a local bathroom to the sites, the boat ramp is short and does not have a good loading and unloading for boats.

We really enjoyed our stay here with the exception of the bugs at night. You couldn't sit outside even with the breeze. They are tiny little bugs that bite like mosquitos. Maybe when it is not too hot for a fire in the fire pit, bugs may not be as bad. Our wifi did not always work on our end but my son on the other end of campground had no problem with his. Nice place to relax.

Staff is great, plenty of activities for the kids, cabins are clean. You do need to add cleaning the filters in the ac units as part of routine maintenance as they were filthy and this will help with the efficiently and long term life of the unit. Other than that PERFECT!!

Great sites exactly as advertised, very friendly and helpful staff, enjoyed the amenities. Location is very good, easy drive to the Outer Banks. Wish the store hours were longer, we’re there for a week and wished we could have used kayaks and paddle boards later in the day on week days but store closed by 6pm most days. Loved the daily trash pick up!

We enjoyed our stay except Saturday night we went to the store with my grand kids to buy ice cream. We got there about 8 minutes before they closed and were told they were "locking the door" and "We're done", we were refused service. I know we were there close to closing time but if the store closes at 7:52 the the sign on the door should say "7:52" and not 8:00.

Such a fantastic stay for our annual family vacation. Three generations and everyone had a blast! Loved the free kayaks and live music on Saturday night…Already booking our trip for next year!!

Very well kept resort! The spaces are gravel and level and plenty of space between spots. Lots of things for kids to do. Bathrooms were super clean and tended to throughout the day. Our space had a really nice seating area overlooking the water. We were only there a few days to spend time at Outer Banks, so that is a journey. We would've stayed closer, had we realized. The speed signs are no joke…from the KOA where there's only one way in and out (the police were waiting to ticket a little outside the entrance) and all through the Outer Banks. We saw so many people pulled over (including us). Just pay attention because the speed changes fairly often.

Beautiful place. They have everything you need to recharge. My husband and I stayed here before some races. We really enjoyed it. We were here during the week, so we didn't get to go in the store. It looked like it had some cool stuff.
