Stayed four days and the only thing that could have been better was all the insects. I think we’re going back when it gets cooler and it may improve. The employee’s couldn’t have been better.

The front desk staff were extremely friendly, the campground was clean and had great amenities. We walked in to the campground store on Tuesday night, 15 minutes before close and the employee made us a pizza although it was almost closing time. She was so sweet about it and it was delicious! We would definitely stay again and recommend to others!!

Pros- staff very friendly every day we were there. Bathrooms clean. Laundry facility worked. Kayak rentals were nice. Cons- brochure advertised water taxi and free float rentals which are not true. You pay floats. No vegan options. No shade- very hard to cool camper. Mini golf was meant for preschool kids. No pool table in the arcade. Will not return here. Unsure we can trust KOA.

Always enjoy our stay at this campground. The convenience of the store is a plus. They usually have some type of planned activities. This time they had a Jeep activity and food trucks and music. They have a nice dog park for the dogs to run in. Conveniently located in the center of the campground.

We probably will not rent cabins anymore. There became this excessive list of things to bring and things to do before you leave. When we got there, the cabin wasn’t that clean and we put prepared it in a cleaner ourselves. moving forward it’s too expensive to be renting the cabin & bringing all of your own linens doing all of your own cleaning before you leave. It was awesome as always!!! From the time we arrived to the time departed was fantastic! People who I have never met were telling us to have a safe trip! WOW! I need one thing……I need someone to come and get all these little frogs and mosquitoes we brought back! We will definitely be back to relax!

What an awesome group of owners/ workers!!! Especially Chris at the front desk. We had a very large group and everyone thought she was awesome. It is a smaller KOA but they offer so much. We went kayaking, played beer bingo, kids painted ducks and played golf car water wars, all for free!!! Only down side we had were the bugs at night but not the campgrounds fault. Definitely a great time!!!

Everything was great! The staff at the office when we checked in were very helpful and friendly. The man that escorted us to our campsite did a great job showing us the power, water, sewer and cable TV connections. He was also polite and friendly. The bath house was always very clean. We loved that it was air conditioned and had great music playing. Overall I rate this beautiful KOA 10 Stars!

Great location on the sound! The staff is great! The bugs are a pain, there were a lot splattered on the walls. But you’re camping so what do you expect? The frogs were super cute. The cabins are very spacious. I have a 4 star solely on the amenities. Being this far out - there should be a pool and maybe a bar a min. Otherwise great place!

We came for 3 days and stayed at a waterfront site in our travel trailer. What an enjoyable and relaxing time. Loved the swimming pier and LOVE the steps to get into the water.

Great stay. We stayed in a tent in August. We knew what we were in for with the bugs and heat. The koa grounds were immaculately clean. Bath houses cleaned frequently. Trash collected frequently. Christine is great in the front check in office. Great experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We went for the day and it was AMAZING! I just can't say enough about the staff; from being very helpful, kind and continuing to check on us to see if we needed anything! Amazing management!! This place was beautiful. We had kids ages 2-15 !and they all had a blast! From swimming, to paddle boarding to crabbing. The kids had fun, the moms had fun and even the dads too! Highly recommend!

Awesome sunrise and sunsets. All the kids in the campground had lots to do. Only con: The live rock band was loud and ran long. The flyer said until 9:00 PM but it was more like 10:30 or later.

This was an unplanned get away. Luckily there was availability for the same day and reserving the lodging was easy. Everyone was friendly upon our arrival. The lodging is in very good condition and very clean. The store is well stocked and the staff are very friendly. The entertainment (Saturday night live band) was good. Check out was easy. First time visit, will be back and bring friends! Thanks

This will be on our list to come back next year. The cabin was upgraded for us to a waterfront upon arrival. Our family loved the all inclusive activities for all our ages groups. The staff was super responsive to repair a bed frame for us our first morning up, however, we will bring a mattress pad next year to soothe our backs for better relaxation and sleep. We enjoyed our first time stay at this KOA resort. All of the staff were very welcoming and professional. The grounds are very clean and maintained. We will definitely be returning for a stay again in the future.

The first night I couldn't sleep because of the severe noise of the air conditioner in the main bedroom. The next day we notified the office. Maintenance came to check and he said he couldn't fix it right now. We couldn't use the main bedroom we had to sleep in a bunk bedroom without air conditioning. We complained, only to be told we were sorry, we did not receive any compensation.

Office staff and Camp store staff extremely Nice. Pizza good Power outage first full day there (we was gone to beach….. no phone call…. We lost over $500 in food) they did give us a free golf cart rental for this happening but was still upsetting because had we been called we could have gotten ice and put all the food in coolers. Then a water main line bust next night and whole Koa no h2o

Well of course there's insects bugs that's you're used to cuz it's near the water but they now took out all the screens in the porch but online it's not there so I left early and I got a refund but I guess I won't go there again I'll go to the another location but the staff is very nice or if you don't care it's a beautiful place

We have stayed at multiple KOA'S and were very disappointed with our 3 night stay. There were large yellow stains on our matress covers. The floors of our cabin were very dirty (feet black after walking) tons of dead bugs in window seals, cobwebs on ceilings with dead gnats. We called the front upon day of arrival, noone would answer so we had to walk to office to ask questions, nothing resolved,

The grounds were well kept. The layout of the sites are easily navigable even with a large fifth wheel. All camp members were helpful and friendly. They activities were fun and entertaining. There was no shortage of things to do while at camp. While it is a short ride to the beach. It was one of the most enjoyable beach trips we’ve ever taken. Definitely on my go again list.

Very well kept resort! The spaces are gravel and level and plenty of space between spots. Lots of things for kids to do. Bathrooms were super clean and tended to throughout the day. Our space had a really nice seating area overlooking the water. We were only there a few days to spend time at Outer Banks, so that is a journey. We would've stayed closer, had we realized. The speed signs are no joke…from the KOA where there's only one way in and out (the police were waiting to ticket a little outside the entrance) and all through the Outer Banks. We saw so many people pulled over (including us). Just pay attention because the speed changes fairly often.

Beautiful place. They have everything you need to recharge. My husband and I stayed here before some races. We really enjoyed it. We were here during the week, so we didn't get to go in the store. It looked like it had some cool stuff.
