Cabin and other areas of the grounds exceptional clean. Beds were comfy, cable reception was very good, and the service was great! Relaxing time. We enjoyed ourselves.

Enjoyed fishing but more cleaning stations would be nice. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Boats should not be able to anchor close to the seawall, some guy lost his anchor where someone could get hurt not knowing it's there.

Your facility was absolutely wonderful. The short time we were there (1 night) was a great experience. We had a 10-month-old on his first tent camping trip. It was a very peaceful experience. If I were to make a suggestion though... it would be for some sort of outhouses closer to the tent sites. It is a bit of a hike.

Great place, swimming in the sound was fun! The sites are small but ocean front sites have large grassy back yards. Will be back!!

Staff was friendly, Water access was awful. Grass piled up at both boat ramps, very difficult to launch kayak or paddleboard. purchased a rake at walmart just to clear a path for my wife and I to access the water. Found snakes in grass as I was raking. unfortunately we will not be returning as the water access is the only thing we were interested in. No pool is a bummer as well.

Awesome campground with plenty of outdoor recreational activities. Friendly and helpful front desk staff and guide to campinig spot. Bmeing near the Currituck Sound was great except for the after dark mosquitoes. C-store staff were friendly and helpful.

If you have a big rig... its an interesting drive... doable.. There isn't much shade for the kids stuff - so it gets HOT. The restaurant was good and the store well stocked. You can fish out there. We did not head out to the beach area. The laundry room needed to be cleaned. The people there were super nice and at night it was lovely.

We love this campground, but the bugs this time were intolerable. I’m not sure that anything can be done, but in the evening I couldn’t bare to be outside. This is the first time we experienced this, and will hopefully be the last!

We had a great time. Very quiet campground. They offer a lot of amenities. Would be excellent if there was also a pool or mini water park. Downsides - noticed that RV spaces are very close together. We stayed in a cabin, and it was very nice but a little overpriced IMO and comparing to other campgrounds we've been to. The discounted tickets to H2OBX water park is great.

This was our third time here and once again we had an amazing time. We really enjoyed all of the activities that were hosted and around the campground. Friendly staff and great accommodations. We will be back next year!

The KOA team made our stay so enjoyable. Dan and Victoria in the camp store went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. They, along with Tim, were so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. The team really made this KOA one of our favs!

We had a wonderful time! The only thing I will say the bathrooms were good during the day in the morning after people being in they get dirty quick. So maybe in between morning showers or going in early cause the bugs were bad in the bathroom. But other then that we will be back :)

Very nice staff, grounds and restrooms etc kept very clean and nice. All activities are geared to children and families was my only dislike. Older folks like to have fun to! Bingo, cornhole, etc we can do. None offered. Most activities were and hour or less. Loved golf cart trails!! Beautiful water views from most sites.

By far this is my family’s favorite KOA we’ve tried. This was our 3rd time staying in a cabin and it’s always a great time. The water is beautiful! Secluded location but close enough to restaurants and shops if you wanted to venture out.

It was quiet and relaxing - just what we needed. Cindy at Happy Jack’s Cafe made a great hot dog, and the ice cream was excellent. One of the most important features of any campground to us is a dog park, and this one was spotless every time we took our pup there.

Stayed there last year great time and professional staff. This year ran into a few staff members who I did not see there last year. Not especially nice wish I knew there names for you. As a business owner I wouldn’t want them to represent my business. If your really interested in their identity feel free to contact me.

Loved the waterfront location, but sites are short and narrow. Had to park tow vehicle in overflow lot and patio was behind camper so not the most ideal location for it. We felt really squeezed in.

Wasn’t my favorite. Campground was very peaceful and staff were nice. However the Cabin we stayed in wasn’t the cleanest and the porch ceiling needed to be pressure washed bad. Bugs were terrible which I know is just apart of nature. The option to do kayaking was nice but water was choppy most of the time we were there so didnt get to utilize that. Great location and many amenities! It was SUPER hot the weekend we stayed here and there’s not a lot of shade, but you get a great breeze off the sound and can always take a quick dip in the water to stay cool. This was our first KOA stay and we were thoroughly impressed!

Great location, quite serene just what we needed to sit back and relax and enjoy the view. This KOAis tucked away behind churchs Island neighborhood so you wouldn't even know it's there. The roads are very narrow when going through this area before you get to the KOA so keep that in mind if you have a big rig, but don't let that scare you cause there are plenty of big rigs that go there. Yes we're going to visit again. staff was great location is great bathrooms and laundry. Facilities were excellent and well-maintained. Convenient store was great and the fun activities they have outside like a jump house putting green little mini go karts that use by pedal power if you wanna work out try those out real fun time. oh, and make sure you visit the Morris farmers market in Currituck, which is about 26 minutes away definitely a place you need to visit for the shopping the food the music and environment totally worth it. And if you want to venture out a little further like we did, we went to Kitty Hawk, which only took us barely an hour to get to, which was such an easy and scenic drive, and we got to see an awesome part of history when it comes to the first recorded flights and innovation.

Very well kept resort! The spaces are gravel and level and plenty of space between spots. Lots of things for kids to do. Bathrooms were super clean and tended to throughout the day. Our space had a really nice seating area overlooking the water. We were only there a few days to spend time at Outer Banks, so that is a journey. We would've stayed closer, had we realized. The speed signs are no joke…from the KOA where there's only one way in and out (the police were waiting to ticket a little outside the entrance) and all through the Outer Banks. We saw so many people pulled over (including us). Just pay attention because the speed changes fairly often.
