Beautiful location, facilities, and great customer service. Everybody we came in contact with was extremely friendly and made our stay great. We were there for a softball tournament and the staff were very kind to our team. I loved that everything was dog friendly. We will definitely be back again.

The campgrounds were awesome. It was very quiet and beautiful. The view of the water, outstanding. We loved it. It’s only 45 minutes to Kitty Hawk and the Atlantic Ocean.

This was such a wonderful campground! We were fortunate to get a waterfront site with an amazing view, personal patio with furniture, and a fire pit. The private family bath/shower rooms were clean and spacious, and we took advantage of the up to date machines in the laundry room to run a load. The staff at check in was helpful and friendly, as were the fellow campers. We loved it!

Joshua, the GM, was great! He was very helpful and informative. We usually don’t camp in campgrounds, but this was perfect for our trip. Everything was very clean and beautiful water view.

We found the staff to be friendly and incredibly helpful. Our stay was not what we expected. There was bad weather that dumped inches of rain. It seemed that much of the water drained to the area around our camper and the few next to us. In the middle of the night, we were woke by the camper (that we rented) leaking. We loaded the truck in ankle deep water.

I’m upset that I have to pay a resort fee of $30 dollars for a 3 day weekend and I had no access to any of the RESORT items. Ie boat, pool, there shouldn’t be resort fees if the time of the seasons don’t allow use of such items. Just nickle and dime money away from people. Fees, just up the rate stop adding on extra expenses.

It was a nice park the people was so nice Patrick and Josh and we meet some great people from VA. only thing was not so great was the bugs they are everywhere in the grass on the golfcarts in our RV you cant enjoy it because of the bugs and they dont treat the grass. you cant enjoy the floating deck or nothing at your site bc they just sit there.

Please enforce the quite hours of 11-7!!!!! I know everyone is on vacationing having fun, but others dont want to hear kids screaming on playground at 6:20am just because its light out now! Everyone pays to be here and deserves to be respected. ALSO......TELL EVERYONE WHEN MAKING A RESERVATION ABOUT THE BUGS SO PEOPLE ARE WARNED AND HAVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATIONS IF BUGS ARE AN ISSUE.

The water view cabin was very nice and the kids loved the playground and jump pad. We’d like to go back during the summer to try out the pool and the water taxi.

Very nice campground with lots of amenities. Gentleman working the store was very helpful and friendly. Had a water view campsite that provided excellent scenery to look at while sitting around the fire pit. Will definitely return in the future.

We loved our site near the water, but three kids were throwing large rocks at a possum up in a tree near our 5th wheel we chased off. This KOA is our weekend escape since its not far from our home, and we enjoy the vendor events they have.

It was a very clean and nicely maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was windy and chilly in November. We will be going back in the summer so I can paddleboard.

Outstanding!! Very nice staff, very level sites, and very quiet, just the way we like it!!! Definitely worth visiting and maybe return some day to explore more of your beautiful area. We actually had a wonderful time and will definitely remember this one and recommend to everyone we know.

we rented a camper. beds were hard as rocks. no heat. the steps were dangerous, we feared falling. sand spurs were terrible. other campers were riding around on golf carts all hours of the night.

Great long weekend! The staff really goes all out to ensure guests have a wonderful trip. The haunted hayride was a huge hit!! Can’t wait to come back next year for the pool opening. Keep doing what yall are doing!

Great family destination. Plenty of activities for kids. Very clean grounds and faciclities. They give discounts to First Responders and military. Glad they are instaling a pool, I hope its going to be big enough to handle all the Kampers.

This park is large, visually clean, and well-maintained. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and they do their best to assist guests. The park is almost there, but there is only one dumpster location, so you'll likely want to rent a golf cart if you're staying farther away. The biggest reason we're taking stars off is the overwhelming fly problem. There were thousands—possibly tens of thousands—of house flies during our stay, and they affected every part of our family's experience. Simply opening my truck windows while connecting our truck and trailer resulted in hundreds of flies getting inside. There is nothing dead or rotting in my vehicle; the flies are coming from the surrounding area. The flies constantly bother people and pets and make it difficult to enjoy being outdoors or do so much as leave your car window open for more than a minute. There is no leaving your camper door open either, even with a screen. Even after leaving the park, I still have hundreds of flies in my truck. Unfortunately, this issue significantly impacted an otherwise pleasant stay.

Just finished up a weekend with my 5yr grandson. We brought him here last year also. This is his special trip of the year. Never disappointed. I cannot say enough about the staff and quality of entertainment. Dinosaur weekend was amazing. From Jurassic Park trilogy movies playing in the garage, to Lizard King bringing his reptiles, then to making amazing KOA Tye Dye shirts that we were able to decorate and bring home. Craft tables, games.... Mary is one of the staff members here that stood out to us. She has been the face of entertainment and crafts for us for our past few visits. So sweet and nice and definitely helpful in the arts & crafts, and always available to help out. I wish I knew everyone's names here bc each of them played such a huge part in us having so much fun this weekend. From the store front, pool, garage, sites,grounds, activities. Everyone in the staff was just amazing. The facilities were impeccable. We really love coming here. Campsites level,clean. Views are amazing. This year they had the water taxi and kayaks available. We didnt use them, however we did see them being used. So much for a lil'one to do here. To also make it more special, due to the wind we couldnt use our fire pit due to us being waterside, however the play area has them (less windy inland) and of course this wonderful place had their firepits roaring and provided amazing music by Heather, and smores by the main firepits that was provided for everyone. Just can not say enough how much this place makes each trip so special. Thank you so much and see you again next visit.

Great place, super friendly staff, nice amenities, fun activities. It is a little pricey but expected of a place with such beautiful views. Our only complaint is the pool hours. It is open from 10am until 6pm, the earliest of any campground we have stayed at. Hopefully, the will extend the hours until 8 or 9pm in the future. Other than the pool hours, our stay was great and relaxing.
