Beautiful KOA with lots of amenities (camp K9, Jacks Cafe, store, mini golf, laundry) and fun events (Bingo for Breast Cancer fundraiser). Our campsite was spacious and had a gorgeous view. Cannot wait to return!

As usual, fantastic staff and venue. Our site was perfect, we attended the Friday night events and had a terrific stay! Special shout out to Drill Sgt Dan!

My partner and I enjoyed our stay. We stayed active on the campground. The dog park was very nice. My dog had so much fun playing. This is our 3rd visit and we will be back.

We have stayed here several times in the past 2 years. We really enjoy the scenery and being this close to the water. This stay was ok. The bugs were outrageous and we almost left the first night. We left after the second night due to the bugs and a storm came through. Time to go.

Had a great time. My wife won the chili cook off, the campground was very quiet and had a nice area to walk our dog.

Nice campground only wish the camp store would nit have closed early Sunday could not get bait or food.wssted money on fishing permit we could not use

Loved it! We had a very nice stay. The only complaint would be all the mosquitos at the door of the bathrooms and getting bit while showering, other than that, we can’t wait to return. Bingo was also fun on Friday night!

It was wonderful. Staff was very friendly. My only gripe was the little mosquitoes. They were everywhere and just attacked anytime we walked out the RV. But I know it's not the campgrounds fault. Not sure if spraying the campground would help. Overall, we had a great time. We will definitely be back next year.

Although we were only there one night, it was a great experience. We were taken to our site and the guy helped us get into it. Not every KOA does this. He also recommended the pizza at the store and surprisingly it was pretty good. The campground sits on the water so the view is great. They had some fun Fall events planned for the weekend and I was sorry I wasn’t staying for that. Great place!

Great views, clean facility. May flies were overwhelming. Spent days getting them out of our camper. Hundreds of them were on the side and came in when we opened the door.

The only issue was activities could not happen without the store being open. Spent over 3 hours waiting on store to open to ride the pedal bikes. Store was out of basic food staples like coffee. The cabin needs a good cleaning under the beds and sofa. Recommend a blind for the front door window.

Most beautiful campground I've ever stayed at. The amenities and layout are top notch. Love the family atmosphere. Will be back again this fall and looking forward to bringing my son in the spring once he's old enough to camp outdoors!

Great place to camp! Campsites are clean and level. We stayed 5 nights and wanted to stay longer but had to come home. Lots of activities for kids and adults. Will definitely camp here again!

We camped the first week of October. The weather was beautiful and the breezes were great. All windows opened and no air conditioning needed. I will go back again.

Loved the layed back week there. Caught some really nice fish and crabs. Rode ebikes to local marina and had a really nice lunch one day went back for carrot cake another.

Great campground. The staff was incredible. Very friendly and accommodating. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Loved the patio tables & chairs. Our site was large, right on the Sound. We stayed at 9 campgrounds on this trip and OBX West was our favorite. It was really hard to leave!

We always enjoy our stay at OBX West KOA. This time we came specifically to attend the Wine Down Event. While I understand that the fine print states events can be changed without notification, it is disappointing that we can't know ahead of time that a major change to the events. This is the second time this season where events we specifically for the event advertised. OBX West can do better.

The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the bluegrass concert Saturday night and the trip to Morris Farm Market Saturday afternoon. We had a great time despite the rain and we will.be back.

We stayed in a cabin. It was very clean and the fully stocked kitchen was very nice. We were with a group that included children and the activities that were offered to them was nice. The camp staff were very friendly and more than willing to offer help, suggestions and service. We will definitely stay here again and recommend this campground to our friends.

KOA West OBX is our go to campground. This time we brough 3 other families and they stayed in the cabins. They were pleasantly surprised with the cabins and can't wait to come again. Thank you to the helpful and pleasant staff. See you again soon!

Was not a good weather week for us. That was our only downfall. Weather not related to campground. The wind was pretty rough for 6 out of our 7 days. The campground was nice and quiet. The laundry was nice. The camp store was nice.

It was our first camping trip and everyone was very helpful. The site is well kept and just beautiful. We will definitely tell our friends about it!

Our stay at the Currituck Sound KOA was very nice. We rented a waterview cabin, which had beautiful views, was clean & spacious. We brought our Red Heeler, Chewie, with us and he enjoyed his walks plus meeting other folks and pups in the dog park. We went to the ocean at Kitty Hawk, took the ferry to Knotts Island, & visited My Brother's Keeper, a lovely thrift store north on Rt. 158.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were all exceptionally nice! We weathered tropical storm Ophelia there. Staff communication was excellent. They checked on everyone to make sure all were okay. We’ll be back!

We had a great stay despite Tropical Storm Ophelia. The KOA Staff was very friendly. They made sure to keep an eye out on everyone during the storm. The facilities were very clean and the camp store was very well stocked. We will be back.

We love it there this weekend been nice if the weather had been good but we stayed anyway between the staff letting us change where to stay and getting a golf cart. We would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay there. Already been telling ours friends about your campground.

Started off amazing until Ophelia came knocking. Staff was very helpful, empathetic and refunded our last two days due to the weather. I will be back for sure. I will for ever be grateful to the staff at OBX KOA. See you again.

The staff was attentive and helpful. When we arrived, we were escorted by golf cart to our space. This site has so much natural beauty and is well maintained.
