We stayed over the memorial day weekend. My family and I had 4 different sites. We had a problem with the gas not working and they sent someone quickly but were unable to get it working. Problems will happen from time to time and what matters is how management handles it and in the end I was satisfied and they made it right. We will be planning another trip .

Great KOA and plenty of things to do for kids. Kayak and fishing rod rentals are great. $65 per night for a golf cart rental is overpriced, but needed to access the pool since it’s so far from the campsites. WiFi is terrible and water pressure is too low. Recommend keeping the camp store open later than 7PM on long holiday weekends. Overall great stay. We’ll be back.

We absolutely loved our experience and site O-10! The rain didn’t stop us! The staff members were so friendly which made the experience even better. We’ve been to other KOAs and dealt with very rude staff which ruins the whole experience. Facilities were clean and the pool was great. My only suggestion is when someone rents a golf cart - it should at least been wiped off.

The best KOA we have stayed at! Sites were nice size and mostly level. Even with all the rain we had our site never puddled or flooded. The view is beautiful and the new pool was wonderful. Quiet and relaxing and friendly people all around.

We have stayed here twice before with no issues and usually love it. Unfortunately this time was a little different. We couldn't use our fire pit because the neighbors slide out was just about over our fire ring. I was looking forward to sitting by the fire and relaxing and couldn’t even do that. I have much more to say but it won’t allow me to.

The whole experience was great. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The location is incredible with sunrise views and ample waterfront for all guests to share. There are tons of activities for the kids with new events each day. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed the week before Memorial Day weekend. It was quiet and not busy. Camp store hours are odd, pool hours are also strange compared to other KOAs. Pool closes at 6 everyday, with longer days or could definitely stay open until 8. Dog park was well taken care of as well as the grounds. My MIL rented a cabin and it looked line it had water damage at one time, floors were very weak and uneven.

Staff was not very helpful. Was surprised that there was no garbage pickup. First for me at a koa. Not sure if there was firewood and ice delivery to site, never clear answers.

Good place for relaxing. Enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every night. Loved the pool and kayaking on the sound. Enjoyed the nature trail. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Had a great time. Even though we didn't use the pool, it was a plus to have it. You have a friendly professional staff that did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The bathhouses were always clean.

It was a beautiful campground, bur the pool was only open from 10 - 6, if there is no life guard, why are the pool hours limited. There was no boat transportation to the beaches. This required driving over an hour to get there and an hour drive back. Then to return an have pool available was a huge disappointment.

Everything was great. Staff was really nice. KOA felt like the middle of nowhere to us but that worked out great for us. My top suggestion would be for when we checked in to tell us more of campground, local restaurant, what to visit, etc. we did arrive close to 5pm so maybe the front just wanted to leave. But felt like it was sign and pay and follow someone else to site. Great stay!

Checking in staff was talking to other people during check in process. Didn't know about any of the events going on for Mother's Day. Beautiful campground and site on marshland.

Nice campground right on the water. The restrooms and showers were clean and well taken care of. The camp store was nice and had the basics along with ice cream. Nice play area for the kids and an arcade. My only complaint would be that I pre-ordered 2 bundles of firewood that would be delivered to my site but I never received them.

The campground is very well maintained. Has a really nice large outdoor heated pool and new pickle ball courts. I wish we had stayed on the opposite side of the sound bc the sunset was amazing. We had to purchase bug spray because our RV had tons of insects inside but they didn’t bite. Being able to rent a golf cart was a huge plus.

Wish there was a swimming beach, not just the docks to jump off of. Other than that, our off-season stay was lovely.

We love the Deluxe Waterfront sites and the view! Can’t wait for warmer weather to enjoy the pool! Love the staff so much, and all of the work they do to make the place beautiful. Hate the midge flies, so pesky.

One of my Favorite KOA. We will be back. The amenities were great. I didn’t get to swim in the new pool. It is one of the nicest pool for KOA’s.

This is one of the best campgrounds I have stayed at in a very long time! The layout is easy to navigate and there are quite a few amenities on site . We stayed in one of the cabins by the water and it was very spacious and totally worth the cost! The pool area they put in is absolutely beautiful! I cannot wait to come back!

The most beautiful KOA in the collection w/ friendly vibes, Jeepers, & well-kept grounds. The new pool & pickleball courts looked great (too cold to use). Store had amazing biscuits & gravy, breakfast sandwiches, & free coffee. Room for improve:RV floor was rotted & needed leveling, hard bed (expected), heat didn’t work (poss op error), no hot water. Bring linens, heater, blanket, and a vacuum.

Water front cabin was perfect. The only thing that could have improved was the weather. Super excited to return to try out the pool when it’s warmer. Had a small issue with AC that was quickly resolved with a phone call. Will definitely be back.

This park is large, visually clean, and well-maintained. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and they do their best to assist guests. The park is almost there, but there is only one dumpster location, so you'll likely want to rent a golf cart if you're staying farther away. The biggest reason we're taking stars off is the overwhelming fly problem. There were thousands—possibly tens of thousands—of house flies during our stay, and they affected every part of our family's experience. Simply opening my truck windows while connecting our truck and trailer resulted in hundreds of flies getting inside. There is nothing dead or rotting in my vehicle; the flies are coming from the surrounding area. The flies constantly bother people and pets and make it difficult to enjoy being outdoors or do so much as leave your car window open for more than a minute. There is no leaving your camper door open either, even with a screen. Even after leaving the park, I still have hundreds of flies in my truck. Unfortunately, this issue significantly impacted an otherwise pleasant stay.

Just finished up a weekend with my 5yr grandson. We brought him here last year also. This is his special trip of the year. Never disappointed. I cannot say enough about the staff and quality of entertainment. Dinosaur weekend was amazing. From Jurassic Park trilogy movies playing in the garage, to Lizard King bringing his reptiles, then to making amazing KOA Tye Dye shirts that we were able to decorate and bring home. Craft tables, games.... Mary is one of the staff members here that stood out to us. She has been the face of entertainment and crafts for us for our past few visits. So sweet and nice and definitely helpful in the arts & crafts, and always available to help out. I wish I knew everyone's names here bc each of them played such a huge part in us having so much fun this weekend. From the store front, pool, garage, sites,grounds, activities. Everyone in the staff was just amazing. The facilities were impeccable. We really love coming here. Campsites level,clean. Views are amazing. This year they had the water taxi and kayaks available. We didnt use them, however we did see them being used. So much for a lil'one to do here. To also make it more special, due to the wind we couldnt use our fire pit due to us being waterside, however the play area has them (less windy inland) and of course this wonderful place had their firepits roaring and provided amazing music by Heather, and smores by the main firepits that was provided for everyone. Just can not say enough how much this place makes each trip so special. Thank you so much and see you again next visit.

Great place, super friendly staff, nice amenities, fun activities. It is a little pricey but expected of a place with such beautiful views. Our only complaint is the pool hours. It is open from 10am until 6pm, the earliest of any campground we have stayed at. Hopefully, the will extend the hours until 8 or 9pm in the future. Other than the pool hours, our stay was great and relaxing.
