The facility was clean and very accommodating. I brought my 2 year old grandchild and found many todler friendly activities. My family had a great tme and will be happy to stay again.

The park was very nice and clean, first time staying in a KOA, the only thing I didn’t like was the noise pass midnight!

The views were fantastic and enjoyed being next to the ‘sound’. Staff was super friendly and it was very quiet. Great place for a vacation! We will be back. �

this is a beautiful campground but it is not laid out very well everything is at one end so if you are at the wrong end you have quite the walk or you can rent a golf cart to run around if you have the extra cash if not happy walking .i think they should put amenities at both ends to accommodate everyone not just one end of the park !!!

Very nice location, clean and amazing views all around. While it was still off-season, I would recommend this location for anytime. Rental Cabins look beautiful and the Camper I rented came well equipped and was clean and in great shape. Bring in plenty of food, it's a drive to Grocery, however there is a small restaurant for food and the camp store too.

We loved the stay. Just had to cut our stay short and head back home. We will be back again next year. Personal was very friendly and professional.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Grounds were fairly well kept. Grass could have been cut. Bugs were terrible. Facilities were nice.

38-40 PSI WATER PRESURE IS COMPLETELY INADEQUATE. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF CAMPER TO MITIGATE "HIGH" PRESSURE WATER INTO THEIR RIG. 38 PSI IS A FLAT OUT JOKE...THE FACT THAT IS NOT BEING ADDRESSED IS MIND BLOWING TO ME. THIS STAY WOULD HAVE BEEN 5S BUT WATER PRESSURE IS SEROUS ISSUE. STAFF WAS GREAT!

What a wonderful campground, it’s tucked away, up a narrow road but an awesome campground. If you want to stay out if the hustle and bustle of the outer banks but still within driving distance of the outer banks this is the campground for you, Joshua was so accommodating with our 45’ motorhome and 28 ft trailer, he found the perfect site. Will definitely stay again !! Come check it out!!!

Nice , clean, quiet place. Just what we needed. Although the website for koa is very deceiving for this campground there is no beach , he I realized this before hand I would not have paid the extra for water front.

We had an issue with the water heater in our RV and Noca went above and beyond in trying to help us. She’s a real asset! We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it to our family and friends!

Everything was good. The only thing I thought was not the greatest is the sites are very close to each other. We had a deluxe patio water view site. It was nice as there was no one directly next to us while we stayed for 2 weeks, except the last night. The staff were nice and helpful. Nice area to walk in if you do not travel to hike.

Had a great time as always. Only had one issue. Cleaning crew did not do a proper cleaning of my cabin after the last guest. Will return same time next year!

Staff were nice and friendly. Weather did not cooperate this trip. Very windy and cold. Not their fault, just April weather. One thing was issue, the pull out sleeper couches mattresses are terrible. Been that way the last three times we have stayed. Other than that cabins are great.

At the Outer Banks West/Currituck Sound KOA: The water front camping was perfect. Our family really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The bath house and restrooms were very clean.

Always love staying here! Staff had always been great and the park has always extremely well kept. Wi-Fi supports streaming. My only complaint was the 24psi water pressure, which had always been the only issue. It certainly won't keep us from coming back whenever we can though fir sure! Very well run place and still highly recommend!

Views were great from campsite across from water. Felt a little crammed in for park that was not full, but feel like the site was recommended for water view. I would rather be back a little and so crammed in as there were plenty of empty sites. Paid amenity/ resort fee but feel I get no benefit from it this time of year as water taxi not running, kayaks not usable. Get a pool!!

This park is large, visually clean, and well-maintained. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and they do their best to assist guests. The park is almost there, but there is only one dumpster location, so you'll likely want to rent a golf cart if you're staying farther away. The biggest reason we're taking stars off is the overwhelming fly problem. There were thousands—possibly tens of thousands—of house flies during our stay, and they affected every part of our family's experience. Simply opening my truck windows while connecting our truck and trailer resulted in hundreds of flies getting inside. There is nothing dead or rotting in my vehicle; the flies are coming from the surrounding area. The flies constantly bother people and pets and make it difficult to enjoy being outdoors or do so much as leave your car window open for more than a minute. There is no leaving your camper door open either, even with a screen. Even after leaving the park, I still have hundreds of flies in my truck. Unfortunately, this issue significantly impacted an otherwise pleasant stay.

Just finished up a weekend with my 5yr grandson. We brought him here last year also. This is his special trip of the year. Never disappointed. I cannot say enough about the staff and quality of entertainment. Dinosaur weekend was amazing. From Jurassic Park trilogy movies playing in the garage, to Lizard King bringing his reptiles, then to making amazing KOA Tye Dye shirts that we were able to decorate and bring home. Craft tables, games.... Mary is one of the staff members here that stood out to us. She has been the face of entertainment and crafts for us for our past few visits. So sweet and nice and definitely helpful in the arts & crafts, and always available to help out. I wish I knew everyone's names here bc each of them played such a huge part in us having so much fun this weekend. From the store front, pool, garage, sites,grounds, activities. Everyone in the staff was just amazing. The facilities were impeccable. We really love coming here. Campsites level,clean. Views are amazing. This year they had the water taxi and kayaks available. We didnt use them, however we did see them being used. So much for a lil'one to do here. To also make it more special, due to the wind we couldnt use our fire pit due to us being waterside, however the play area has them (less windy inland) and of course this wonderful place had their firepits roaring and provided amazing music by Heather, and smores by the main firepits that was provided for everyone. Just can not say enough how much this place makes each trip so special. Thank you so much and see you again next visit.

Great place, super friendly staff, nice amenities, fun activities. It is a little pricey but expected of a place with such beautiful views. Our only complaint is the pool hours. It is open from 10am until 6pm, the earliest of any campground we have stayed at. Hopefully, the will extend the hours until 8 or 9pm in the future. Other than the pool hours, our stay was great and relaxing.
