That staff was absolutely awesome! I liked that it over looked the sound, it was quite, the deluxe patio had table, chairs and a glider. Not a lot of people driving erratic on golf carts.

We visited with our 9 year old grandson who really enjoyed himself. We had a foam party, went kayaking, swam in the sound, and jumped on the pad. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Outer Banks West KOA! The free kayak and paddleboard rental was the best, and the themed weekend offered fun family-friendly activities. It was very peaceful and relaxing for a long weekend getaway. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if there were to a pool, but jumping off the dock into the Sound was great!

Very disappointed in the gravel sites and the travel to the KOA… it is as always kid friendly… long term sites in back is not pleasant to see… rental cost of golf cart is ridiculously expensive… only one shower house was noted, trails did look like fun, tent sites were contained in a wooded area and looked nice… front desk employees Christine x2 were exceptional, road to camp, 6 milesVER

Staff was very nice and helpful. One member cleaned the putt putt area with a leaf blower as we approached, stepping away from his current work. Another brought our vehicle towing apparatus to our campsite as we were packing up to check out. Very clean and beautiful. Missed not having a pool.

We jad a wonderful time. From check-in all the way to check-out. Kris was phenomenal and has the absolute best personality. Every employee at KOA was amazing. We will definitely return

Staff was very nice and helpful. We loved our waterfront patio site. Only wished we would have had a rocker chair, like the other patio sites had, to watch the beautiful sunrise and sunsets!

Had a wonderful cabin on the water with great view! Comfortable bed and all amenities. Only safety concerns were the shower curtain was too long for that tub, which could leave to trip and fall and no grab rail in or out of high tub area. Should at least have a grab rod on the outside of shower. Otherwise spectacular! Will stay again! Staff were very friendly!

We liked the information about the bugs before we came. That helped us prepare. It would be nice to know that the nearest walkable beach is 45 minutes away. That should be on your website as that would have made us not come in the first place. We have been to other KOA’s on the Eastand this is the first without a pool. We were assuming it had one. Again wish that was also stated on your website

Great campground and friendly staff. The only downside is there is no pool. The neighbors are horrible and complain on everything so beware. But overall the campground was awesome.

checked in and was assigned wrong cabin.We had reservations for an accessible cabin. we were reassigned our accessible cabin and were told a complimentary golf cart would be brought to us next day 14 th June. I guess it was out of sight out of mind. We never received the complimentary golf cart and it was never mentioned again. rest of stay was good.

The KOA was absolutely amazing. The staff were great and facilities stayed clean. The tent sites were peaceful and the guests respected the quiet hours in the late evening/early morning. Would definitely go camping there again.

Had a pretty good stay. The location is amazing. Campground amenities are a little shopworn and tired. Saturday evening there were a lot of golf carts full of drunks racing through the grass between our site and the waterfront. Wish that hadn't happened

Second time staying here as we have family in this area. It’s a nice soundfront campground with swimming and fishing. Lots of open green spaces. Some KOA’s have added texting to let campers know about the activities in the campground. It would be great if you added that as you had live entertainment and we were not aware that it was here.

Enjoyed everything about our stay in one of the waterfront cabins. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Only have one suggestion: we felt very uncomfortable in the shower in the cabin we rented and would have liked to have a "grab bar" to help getting safely in and out of shower. Next time I will use the bath house showers if there are still no safety devices available in the cabin.

We always enjoy our stay there. We have already came twice this year. Easter & Fathers Day weekends. We look forward to your Halloween on Oct. Saturday. We tell everyone how much we like it there.think we finally found the cite we like the best. G-09… best spot so far.. We hope to be back soon.

We love this campground. Very clean and safe. Great place for our family to enjoy a few days of peace and quiet!! Close enough for a drive to the beach or fun in the sound. Love the new "all-inclusive" amenities that have been added.

Another fabulous weekend camping. The views were amazing! The activities theta had were great. We made some new friends along the way and we have all scheduled again the weekend before Halloween. Let’s go!!

Staff was friendly, pre-registration materials were helpful and campground is amazing. Our site (WF06) needs improvement. The patios need to be pushed back about 3-5 yards then the fire rings and grills need to be moved to the other side of the patio. As it is, our slide out was 3’ from an adjoining sites grill and it would have been closer if we backed in further.

Packed in closely. Charged a premium so that they can have all the kids activities. Great for kids, not so much for adults.

Such a beautiful place me and my children loved our vacation we didn’t want to leave so much to do. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Cabins are very clean if you never been to a KOA this was my first time and I’m so glad I found it. Thanks for having us

Great location, quiet and serene—just what we needed to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. This KOA is tucked away behind Church's Island neighborhood, so you wouldn't even know it's there. The roads are very narrow when going through this area before you get to the KOA, so keep that in mind if you have a big rig. But don't let that scare you, because there are plenty of big rigs that go there. Yes, we're going to visit again. The staff was great, the location is great, and the bathrooms and laundry facilities were excellent and well-maintained. The convenience store was great, and the fun activities they have outside, like a jump house, putting green, and little mini go-karts that are powered by pedal power, are worth trying out if you want to work out. Oh, and make sure you visit the Morris Farmers Market in Currituck, which is about 26 minutes away. It's definitely a place you need to visit for the shopping, the food, the music, and the environment—it's totally worth it. And if you want to venture out a little further, like we did, we went to Kitty Hawk, which only took us barely an hour to get to. It was such an easy and scenic drive, and we got to see an awesome part of history when it comes to the first recorded flights and innovation.

Very well kept resort! The spaces are gravel and level and plenty of space between spots. Lots of things for kids to do. Bathrooms were super clean and tended to throughout the day. Our space had a really nice seating area overlooking the water. We were only there a few days to spend time at Outer Banks, so that is a journey. We would've stayed closer, had we realized. The speed signs are no joke…from the KOA where there's only one way in and out (the police were waiting to ticket a little outside the entrance) and all through the Outer Banks. We saw so many people pulled over (including us). Just pay attention because the speed changes fairly often.
