The stay was good….I had paid for my cabin in full two weeks before and when I arrived I was told I owed $114.00 more….I asked what the charge was for and the girls couldn’t find any reason, so they said “we probably just entered a wrong amount”…..I wasn’t very happy about that.

The showers weren’t working.The guy working there didn’t pick up the trash on time. New fire pits are very dangerous because a member of our family got hurt and scratched on her leg. You guys need to cement the blocks together or don’t have it there at all.

If you are not someone who likes the recreation that the Dunes provides including all of the side by side and ATV activity, this is probably not the place for you to stay. Very noisy and dusty. Only about half the showers worked during our stay. The bathrooms probably need cleaned at least twice a day.

Would have given 5 stars but 3/5 showers were out of order and I didn’t like that we couldn’t bring our own wood. Also, generally a very long path with a ton of pavement to the dunes. It ate up my paddles. But the staff was great and loved the activities for our kids while we were there. Will be coming back.

Friendly staff. As stated in ad, very noisy and dusty. No pool. Gravel roads. Very nice surrounding area. Near lighthouses and casino. Glad we stayed here.

stay was great! BUT! there were kids there riding quads and bikes VERY unsafe. Because my kids are little and riding peddle bikes and tiny e bikes going 3-5 mph. But then other kids are riding big quads and fast e bikes, sliding around corners sideways, doing wheelies and donuts, almost hitting our kids. they got talked to by security MANY times but nothing came of it. I felt my kids were unsafe.

Was pleasantly surprised to see the site improvements this year, especially with the paved road into the camp. Been returning to this campground for close to 40 years. Also saw marked improvements in the firepits, return of some grass in sites, restroom cleanliness, support staff very helpful and accommodating. Thank you for making our trip an enjoyable one.

More than half of the restrooms and showers were out of order. Staff is rude. None of the rules are enforced. This is not a safe environment for anyone. We left early, this type of dysfunction needs fixing, starting at the top.

Stay was great. Cabins have more than advertised. Bbq on site water spigot, mini fridge, microwave. Had a blast.

Shower tokens only worked 90 seconds in men's shower and nowhere to sit to dress. ADA shower big with seats. K9 park gates have gaps big enough for our dog to squeeze through (11 lb Chiweenie). Main reason we picked KOA is K9 park. Our dog is bathroom shy on a leash and she's a runner. Some highway noise late at night. Good location for ATV/UTVs and kids.

It was very kid friendly, so many good activities for our daughter, easy access to the dunes, and all the staff is super nice! Bathrooms were always clean, and I didn't see trash laying anywhere on the whole site! Best camping experience I've had in a long while �

If u love riding the dunes, this is the place for you. Lots of riders in and out and loud having fun. Mini track for the mini me's that the kids were having a blast on. Lots of dust churned up, clean bathrooms, laundry not expensive, not much shade.

We have been surprised at the low number of campers in the last couple Of weeks! It seems gas prices have kept folks off the dunes and out of campgrounds. This KOA is clean and well kept, with great access to the dunes! If you like to shop, it is close to Coos Bay and some Fun shopping and eateries are there.

Grounds and amenities awesome for the kids and family and staff was very friendly. Only complaint is cabin we stayed in L41 had very dirty bathroom and had to clean it ourselves to make sanitary at check in. There was a film of dust all-over surfaces on top toilet and 3 public hairs on toilet seat and lid and urine on lid and bottom seat. 3 large pubic hairs in shower also. Cleaning was poorly don

It is our favorite place to stay when we come into Coos Bay and we’ve been coming in more frequently than ever Kay Camp Ground and North Bend just keeps improving and making it better and better for our stay now they’ve asphalt the whole entranceway no more dust. It is so nice and they did such a beautiful job. Staff is super friendly. I wouldn’t wanna stay anywhere else.

Great Easter egg hunt, clean facilities, loved the rec hall & jump pad. Wish the showers were larger or more handicap accessible (disabled veteran) but overall loved the campground. Friendly staff!!

We went during the week in April so it was quiet and fantastic. I could see it getting busy and less peaceful during peak times. It is clean and beautiful. There is a camping kitchen with 3 sink/stove stations. For kids there is a jump pad, playground and train car. And then there is the proximity to the dunes. Those with their own ATVs park them at the campsites and drive right on. We're renting at Steve's next door.

Great spot to camp. Take an RV or stay in a cabin. I stayed in a cabin and itnwas great. They also have ATV rentals to go play on the dunes. You can ride from your camp straight to the dunes.
