As always love being here, it’s a fun family event for us. It would be awesome if the fire pit on Site 24 was relocated to be slightly farther away from electrical post as we have to bring in our slide when the fire pit is being used, it’s way to close! Other than that we love this place.

i think koa should enforce the rules about kids riding in the park, creating dust and noise and apparently (non-parently) not supervised. I did enjoy ice cream bring your own bowl. The site size is generous, and I liked meeting my neighbors from all over the country and Canada (not our country yet)

This place is absolutely AMAZING. Stunning. So many great amenities and the staff is amazing in every department! The grounds were great, dunes close and great, dog friendly, but way too close to the highway. You hear every single car driving by when you are tent camping. So much for kids though. I will def book again in a further place.

Our stay was excellent!!! Thank you KOA staff for being nice and helpful. Bathrooms were clean (except that first stall next to the urinal in the men’s, but is was broken) I wish the axe throwing was up and running, but everything else was great!!

The office staff is not very friendly. They seem very irritated with check in or questions.

We love coming to the dunes and mostly enjoy staying at the KOA. Here is what we did not love. Rules about kids riding e-bikes were not enforced. Up on top, where we camped in the H sites, kids were zooming by on their e-bikes or scooters all day long, kicking up dust and running into rigs and people.

We’ve stayed numerous times in the past and have always enjoyed our stay. However this year but the road dust throughout the property is extremely bad. No matter how slow the vehicles drove you could not escape the dust. Fresh rock is obviously needed. We stayed in section H and the kids (happily having fun) constantly rode at high speeds creating even more dust.

nice neighbors , nice overall , young lady at Steves was a total bad attitude has no business being in front of people , left a disgusting taste in my mouth ,although I get over it, Steves shop has been great at all three locations over many years! thanks

We've been coming here for years, great staff, great amenities however, the dust was horrible, would be really nice for a water truck to come through a few times. Also, the amount of people who didn't clean up after their dogs this time was awful. KOA doesn't have control over that but people are jerks. We always have a great time regardless but the dust was my main concern this trip.

Can’t wait and Coos Bay Oregon is our favorite place to stay while Harvey wouldn’t stay anywhere else. They have all the amenities you’ll ever need compared to other campsites if you’ve never camped there you must I guarantee you you will always come back. We have been going there now for over five years, KOA making a lot of changes daily

Dog park was a mess. We usually enjoy the nice area for the dogs, but upkeep and cleanliness was lacking.

We did not realize that this KOA was focused so heavily on enjoying the dunes via off-road vehicles. While that is not something we are in to, we observed and could totally appreciate the fun we saw families , friends, & groups who’ve gathered here for years enjoying together. Aside from the additional noise of the machines, we highly recommend this KOA if off-roading on the dunes is your thing.

Everything changed. Reception was booked incorrectly. My kids would get in trouble for breaking rules and others kids didn’t. We would make sure after we were told something we would follow it.

We really enjoyed all the improvements being done to the park. But, We were disappointed that the kids in our group aged 6 -15 had very little riding opportunities. Now that the kids dunes are for atvs only, which we have none, there was no place to ride the mini rzr or dirt bikes expect around the park (which was also not allowed). The kids area was one of the main reasons that we loved this KOA

We are part of a much larger group that has been coming to Oregon Dunes KOA for many years. This is my second year and the only real issue I have is the upper lot is gravel and dirt which is very dusty. The children use the road as their track and create lots of dust. The families with children need to understand we come to relax and not listen to their children's equipment all day and night.

It was nice that the campground was so close to the entrance of the dunes. All the staff we encountered were very nice.

Dusty and noisy. If you are into the dune buggy scene, this campground is fine. If not, avoid this campground. It is highlighted by constant dust and the noise from off-road vehicles.

It was great, friendly staff, lots to do for children and the dunes are amazing. Only two issues, the children’s train was exceeding 5 mph and stirring up dust, the dump for my spot was uphill, extremely difficult to empty tanks.

HAZARD! DO NOT STAY! We observed dry campers washing and rinsing dishes, cutting boards, a cooler at a water outlet, spilling the water on the ground. Health violation!. Also there were food items discarded on the grounds. And the Kamp K9 dog park was a disgrace and a hazard; I counted at least six piles of poop not picked up upon entering and then leaving that area. There may have been more.

I love that there have been several improvements around the property in addition to the Camp Kitchen finally being open! In all of my years of going to this KOA and staying for several days, the Camp Kitchen was never open. Security was prevalent - actually checking cars and guests to ensure they were authorized to be there. My only complaints are around other campers being inconsiderate and rude.

Friends of ours took us here to KOA about six years ago and we’ve been coming back every year since it’s a wonderful place especially if you’re a dune writer their store has just about everything you could ever want. They have a laundromat bouncy house for the kids train ride Ice cream social at night every night very friendly staff. Camp Ground is very quiet. I would highly recommend this p

We have been camping at Oregon dunes KOA for 15 years. They have always treated us like family and Steve and his wife are great. They have fixed many of our toys to get us riding. We don't stay anywhere else.
