I was last there about 12-14 years ago. It was great to go to the dunes. Thank you for the accommodations I used during my stay.

Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay again. The biggest draw to this campground is the direct dune access. We were disappointed to find that there were no hot food offerings on site - contrary to what is shown on the web page which indicated both breakfast and lunch options available. Also, the zip line was not in operation which was an activity we were looking forward to.

Amenities and activities inside the camp were underwhelming compared to other KAOs we’ve been to. Lake was completely overtaken by lily pads and other vegetation, so the advertised catch and release fishing was a no go unfortunately. Paddle boats were taking on water and very dirty with garbage all around dock. Food in store was either near or past expiration. Seems understaffed.

We stayed in the large lodge and spent a lot of money for it. Day 1 water not working. Day 2-4, hot water tank not working. 3 screens on windows ripped or missing. Open windows and mosquitoes eat you. Stayed at ODKOA at least 30 times, but will never waste money on this lodge again.

We stayed at the Oregon Dunes KOA for two nights and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, and our camping cabin was clean and comfortable with a fridge and microwave. The cleaning product smell was a bit strong at first, and the cabin was a long walk to the bathrooms, but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Our stay was great! The tiny home was very inviting, comfortable and well kept up. The area it was in was beautifully maintained as well. We had a wonderful time and plan to come to stay again in the future. Thank you

Cabin beds could use a little thicker padding and restroom/showers could be cleaned a little more often. Other than that it’s a good place to stay. We will be back again as it’s so convenient to the dunes.

We have been staying at KOA on and off for roughly 8 years, this year we noticed a drastic change in cleanliness. Cabins were full of spiders and webs, wifi did not work, TV did not work, old beds, Showers & bathrooms were very dirty and only cleaned once during a 7 day stay. Dirty diapers and bandaids left in the showers constantly. It seems the heat was also stuck on full in the bathrooms.

We have been coming here for the last 13 years since 2013 and unfortunately, we won’t be coming back for a long stay next year. If we do decide to return, it would be for a very short visit. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with the fact that the KOA at Coos Bay is not being maintained. Cabins are in need of maintenance among others things in the showers and washrooms.

Cabin was pretty dirty overall inside. Definitely pre wash your dishes and wear shoes always. Would look elsewhere

For what we paid to stay in the lodge it would have been nice if the hot water and toilet worked properly and the towel rack did not fall of the wall. All in all we had a great time and would do it again. We understand sh## happens. It was nice all ten of us could stay in the same place. The staff is awesome.

We loved our first stay at Oregon Dunes KOA—such a fun trip! The dunes were amazing and the overall experience was a 10/10. The Salem RV, though, was just okay, giving it a 5/10. One of the beds was a full box mattress with a queen mattress on top so I fell off the bed, the shower clogged, and it wasn’t very clean. Still, we had a roof, water, and warmth. Would come again, but stay in a lodge.

First, we paid for a place with TV, for our entire stay there was no service, for over 300 dollars per night, I feel neglected. Second, an 8 foot board fell from the bedroom ceiling at 2am. The board narrowly missed my sleeping body and had open nails across it. We told the office but no one came to handle it. For the rest of our stay the exposed nails were a hazard I couldn’t do it myself.

We goto the caboose and there are trees growing over the walk way. There we so many pine needles on the deck we had to get the shovel. We open the caboose there are no windows or fans and there was advertised as having ac. We went to the office 5 times to get the tree branch cut deck blown off. And a fan that they never gave us the whole 3 day weekend. Moldly BBQ and tools no propane.

The cabin we stayed in was pretty run down, for the price it could have been better. The door wouldn't close unless you locked it, there was mildew all over the shower curtain and the floor was coming up in places. The staff was pretty good especially April and Tonya , they were very helpful.

Rented a cabin- lock problem with door, no swing as advertised, tv and WiFi didn’t work, zip line and axe throwing closed down - store hours not posted - only sign was “new for 2013 “which was 12 years ago, Very disappointing as most KOA ‘s we’ve stayed at have been awesome

The water heater in the house went out, the water got cold real quick while I was taking a shower. They supposedly fixed it, but it went out again. The garage was dirty and the garage door opener was not working. The water dispenser on the refrigerator flowed very slowly.

We stayed in the caboose and had the best time! Everything was clean and comfortable. They staff was so friendly and accommodating. My son had a great time on the bounce pad, on the train and at the ice cream social. A must with kids on the dunes.

Stayed in the Lodge. Everything was good, except there were messages at the doors to remove your shoes- so we did (which I am all for) but after walking around the house our, white socks were black. It would be nice if the floors were cleaned between stays. Otherwise, it was Great! The office staff is Awesome-love you ladies!! Thanks for another wonderful time!!!

awesome fantastic staff, our cabins oven failed but we got it handled with a different solution, the office provided a toaster oven thank you, maybe could have comped us something for next visit.. nothing offered to us yet,... but it wouldn't stop us from renting it again... the amenities are second to nothing out there.... our family and friends have made this a bi annual visit location....

Great. The tiny house was in great shape and well stocked. One recommendation, remove the handles from the fake drawers in the bathroom and bedroom (unit L21TH) so people don’t try to force open a fake drawer and pull the front off. Other recommendation for this site would be better trailer parking. A bit tricky to fit flatbed and truck in the spot.

We have been camping at Oregon dunes KOA for 15 years. They have always treated us like family and Steve and his wife are great. They have fixed many of our toys to get us riding. We don't stay anywhere else.
