This KOA does a great job of catering to the ORV crowd. I couldn’t give you 5 stars because your cable tv was not working as stated in your brochure and internet.

We’ve been coming here for years and absolutely love it! The only thing I’d recommend to anyone planning a visit is to bring bee traps — they were pretty bad this year. I actually got stung (I’m allergic) and thankfully didn’t need to go to the hospital, but I’m still dealing with the effects 7 days later. Other than that, it’s always such a wonderful experience here

We have been visiting to OR Dunes for 10+ years. We have stayed at most campgrounds and KOA is the safest, most family friendly, has the best amenities, and best location. The people are nice too. This year the showers weren’t very clean and the sites were not kept up like usual. Seemed like less staff. Not sure why but everything else was great.

Amenities and activities inside the camp were underwhelming compared to other KAOs we’ve been to. Lake was completely overtaken by lily pads and other vegetation, so the advertised catch and release fishing was a no go unfortunately. Paddle boats were taking on water and very dirty with garbage all around dock. Food in store was either near or past expiration. Seems understaffed.

Just got back from staying at Q at campgrounds and we’re going back for Labor Day. There’s no other place like this. It has everything that you need easy access to the dunes store laundry showers very quiet Camp Ground everybody very polite.

We stayed in the large lodge and spent a lot of money for it. Day 1 water not working. Day 2-4, hot water tank not working. 3 screens on windows ripped or missing. Open windows and mosquitoes eat you. Stayed at ODKOA at least 30 times, but will never waste money on this lodge again.

The staff was extremely helpful and made our stay pleasant. The campground and campsites were very clean and well maintained. Best KOA we have stayed at hands down.

We have traveled to the Oregon dunes for 40 years. This was out first time at KOA. The full hook-ups was convenient. The spaces where flat with gravel. The spaces are very close to each other without a natural environment. Restrooms poorly maintained. Sand access was the worst we have ever seen in this area. We left two days early due to a loud pot smoking group next to us that had just arrived.

We stayed at the Oregon Dunes KOA for two nights and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, and our camping cabin was clean and comfortable with a fridge and microwave. The cleaning product smell was a bit strong at first, and the cabin was a long walk to the bathrooms, but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Each KOA has a certain environment they cater to this KOA is by the beautiful dunes of Oregon so one must expect to see Dune buggies kids playing and laughing and adults. Having a great time we chose this KOA as we do all KOA's for the environment as we attended the annual vintage Bronco Outing and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as expected. Thank you so much folks.

The Kamping Kitchen has been closed since COVID; however, is active on the website. The RC track is a great idea but lacks refinement. Was disappointed the kids dune area does not allow kids dirt bikes, but the website does not specify this. These amenities, specific to ODKOA, were the primary reasons for staying here. Lacks disabled discount. About the only thing that was good was the staff.

We come camping here every year for two weeks in the summer and always bring all of our toys. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful whenever we need anything. The campsite is clean, well-maintained, and we never have to worry about the safety of our machines. Great campsite — highly recommend!

This was our fisrt time at this place and it was wonderful. Lots for younger kids to do , not far from the dunes for riding and the ice cream social was awesome.

Cabin beds could use a little thicker padding and restroom/showers could be cleaned a little more often. Other than that it’s a good place to stay. We will be back again as it’s so convenient to the dunes.

We’ve been coming here for the last five years in a row With a fairly large group. The campground staff have been more than accommodating and always ensure that we were able to camp together. The only reason I give the rating three stars is because of the campground dust. If they could do something to make it roads less dusty I would change this to five stars immediately.

We rented the group camp site close to Steve atv rental The sites need maintenance as far as level is concerned. All the gravel is gone and couple sites are sinking. It is hard to find a good level spot to park trailers or motorhome.

We have been staying at KOA on and off for roughly 8 years, this year we noticed a drastic change in cleanliness. Cabins were full of spiders and webs, wifi did not work, TV did not work, old beds, Showers & bathrooms were very dirty and only cleaned once during a 7 day stay. Dirty diapers and bandaids left in the showers constantly. It seems the heat was also stuck on full in the bathrooms.

We love staying at KOA. We don’t even go anywhere else because everything that you need is at KOA easy access to ride out to the dunes. Their store has just about everything in it that you need. They have washer and dryers shower bathrooms and showers are always clean bouncy house for the kids campgrounds always clean never any garbage very friendly very quiet. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else

We have been coming here for the last 13 years since 2013 and unfortunately, we won’t be coming back for a long stay next year. If we do decide to return, it would be for a very short visit. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with the fact that the KOA at Coos Bay is not being maintained. Cabins are in need of maintenance among others things in the showers and washrooms.

They have completed several really nice upgrades since last years stay. Staff are amazing and very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect and they offer a lot of additional services and fun activities for all ages. Best place to stay on the Oregon coast.

We have been camping at Oregon dunes KOA for 15 years. They have always treated us like family and Steve and his wife are great. They have fixed many of our toys to get us riding. We don't stay anywhere else.

Wow!! We have been going here for years. It has always been a great place to stay!! They have made some fantastic improvements with accommodations and security. The staff there are all wonderful; they all go way above and beyond what you would expect! Greatly appreciated during our stay.!! Highly highly recommend!
