The closest bath house and restrooms were closed. We were not informed at check in. During our stay the Shanty was also closed.

One set of bathrooms was closed. The other set. Had one shower with water pressure. One shower without the other two did not work.

Great pool, dog park and bath houses. Had a great time at the Shanty watching Boho Cowboy perform. Didn’t try food at the snack bar but plan to next time. Did get an ice cream cone at the little store. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. Wasn’t our first time and won’t be our last.

Check-in was easy and pleasant. Hookups worked, electricity seemed consistent, and the grounds were maintained. Staff was friendly and most of the guests we passed were cordial. Everyone was relaxing and didn't encounter any loud or unruly people. We were testing out our new Class C RV on a quick overnight stay so we didn't use any of the amenities, but we'll be back! :D

Wonderful staff. Campground and facilities are very neat and clean. I do think fees should be adjusted when stays are thru a high and low month..Also, when the koa is emptier, allow park8ng in vacant sites.

We spent five days and four nights with a back insight on the golf course. The weather was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing. We have been here many times and love this place. The golf course has been well-maintained and the people are friendly, we will be back.

Great quite place to stay. A big plus was the dog park, due not allowing our pet fence. Would recommend and be back.

Backed into a spot with a a shared power tower. The electric towers has a 50 amp and a 30 amp plug in. The 50 amp was being used by my neighbor. I drove up to the front and was assigned to a different spot. When I got to the next spot I plugged into the 50 amp service. But, the cap on the shared sewer drain cap was stuck. More.to say but I have reach my limit! : (

Unique- a Golf Course in the middle of “North Americas largest KOA!” Also, we loved the location- right near the North Pier on the Lake. Enjoyed our stay here.

Had a great time. Disappointed the Shanty Lounge was closed for a whole day. Pickleball courts were nice, would’ve been nice if they had a little more shade. Pool was amazing. Perfect temp for these warm Florida days.

The camp grounds are well maintained the pool warm and clean staff friendly could not ask for more. Tiki hut great drinks. Thumbs up

This campground has really declined in the last couple years and even more so now. I paid for a concrete pad site as described on website. When we arrived it was a gravel site with completely cracked concrete where the supposed patio furniture is supposed to be. Pool area drunk groups, pulling pants down and men showing privates. The park was clean and the staff were very friendly. We were highly disappointed in some of the rules which we did not check before coming. Not being able to put up our enclosure for our baby and dogs was a huge inconvenience. There was no playground for our son to play at. And the street areas were a bit small for backing in our large fifth wheel camper. Unfortunately we won't stay at a KOA

Only stayed one night, but this was the best KoA ever for us. Clean & neat-totally well kept up. Large pool. More amenities- list too long for here so see their web site listing. Even serve breakfast at reasonable prices! Looking forward to staying longer next time.

We had great time again! Love all the upgrades. The new manager is really making a big impact on the KOA. My only concern is the way the garbage bin is next to people’s campsite. Those lots should not be used so they can have an enjoyable experience too

Money is being spent to make improvements to the campground every year. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Very disappointed! The sites are tiny and so close to one another. No camp fires were allowed. No nature around at all unless you count the golf course. You had to pay for wifi!! The worst part is it was $120 night. Nothing to do in the area either. We left a day early and they refused to refund us the night that we weren’t there.

We love it in Okeechobee! Everyone is friendly and helpful, and the park is very nice. This year, I wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Julie and Ashley for all of the kids activities they did. My son absolutely loved all of them, and is already looking forward to more next year. Thank you for all you do - see you next year!

Had a great weekend at the KOA the staff is very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed with the pool, we arrived Thursday, went to the pool Friday & Saturday and it was very dirty with yard debris and it wasn't because of the rain storm because the same bandaid was in the same area both days The new cabins are great.

I want to give kudos to Heidi and the shanty star in the food in Sierra in the general store and the three ladies at the front counter, especially Carson, who always remembers the animals and let's go broke with all the treats that she buys.although everyone here is excellent caring and like familythose fouryoung ladies have stood out some of the most patient, friendly and lovable

KOA Okeechobee turned our Fourth of July weekend into a real adventure. The activities were family oriented and had that small town holiday feeling that makes you settle in right away. We met local folks who were friendly and fun to talk to and the whole place felt welcoming from start to finish. The activity team kept everything running smoothly and made the weekend feel special. We helped carry in the watermelons for the assistant activity director and she recognized us throughout the rest of our stay, which added a fun personal touch. The maintenance staff deserves a huge shoutout. Our refrigerator tried to quit on a holiday weekend but the team went after it with real determination. They tested it, coaxed it, and out stubborned it until it started working again. Watching them win that battle was its own entertainment. The front desk team is a big part of why we keep coming back. They are kind, patient, and always make you feel like you are part of the KOA family the moment you walk in. The grounds were clean, the pool was sparkling, and the whole resort had an easygoing, friendly vibe. KOA Okeechobee gets five stars from us and we will absolutely be back.
