We had a great time. The staff was absolutely awesome, especially Elisabeth in the office up front. She was very helpful in answering any and all questions we had while there. We look forward to returning in the future.

We enjoyed playing golf every day. Randy, the Ranger, was very friendly. The course is amazing! Beautiful! The greens will be perfect once they’re grown in a little more and mowed even closer. Met some very nice season guests. Always something to do here!

Our son and his family rented a cabin and we had a trailer site. There was no play set, nothing for children. This is not what is expected at a KOA. Usually something for all ages. I have also stayed at KOA resorts at other locations and this is not the standard I would expect. Most of the cement pads are broken.

Our brief stay satisfied our needs - Again, like last year, the campground entrance sign was NOT illuminated at night - which makes it easy to drive past at night.

The only complaint would be the garbage disposal. We were too close. The traffic was crazy and the smell was bad. We did enjoy our stay in all other respects

Check in was quick & easy, the stay was very relaxing. Only 2 suggestions- Have WiFi available, as we arrived late I wasn't able to call the 3 rd party to purchase & please please have the grill propane tank filled. I was trying to start the grill & realized the tank was completely empty.. so we had to wait for someone to switch out. Thank you.

Too crowded Campsites setup to share power boxes. First site assigned to us only had the 30 amp available. After we started setting up, notified the office and had to move to a different site. Sites are crowded.

Nice place for people who are fit. Otherwise, there’s little that doesn’t require a good amount of walking. We spent four weeks at the Okeechobee KOA & went out for lunch or dinner 8-10 times. Everywhere was expensive with mediocre food & service except for one breakfast & one dinner place. We gave those places good reviews. At camp the grounds are nice.

The dumpster by the maintenance shed was an eye sore and constantly overflowing, needs to be moved into the back of the maintenance area and out of sight. People can still drive, ride or walk their garbage to the dumpster.

Very nice staff, good activities and pool. Our site was good but so many are very tight. The internet is TERRIBLE. Slow connection if you can connect at all. Constant return to a website to sign in. It’s 2025! Provide free open fast internet for your customers instead of providing this farce from 5 dollars.

Really enjoyed our site with a view of the golf course. Very responsive staff; friendly and active campers. Liked having so many laundry rooms available. Plenty of room to walk dogs.

The staff was very accommodating, grounds were well kept as well as the bathrooms being very clean. Was a great success for our granddaughter’s birthday weekend celebration! Everyone had a great time!

Last year we went to several RV parks, and Okeechobee was our favorite. This year we were there for the month of January. Next year it may be longer. There are a ton a things to keep you busy and entertained. We learned 3 new games this year, patanque, bean bag baseball, and corn hole. We met a ton of awesome people and several will be friends. Your employees are wonderful. Thank you D&D

lot not as clean as i like. too many leaves. unfriendly people. some were nice. pool nice. shanty nice with good entertainment but inconsistent at keeping hours. did not like trees and leaves. too many electric bikes going fast. nice laundry.

The staff especially Elizabeth at the front is great! The bartender at Shanty's was so friendly and made us feel at home. The ladies at the shop were so attentive and always had a smile. Let's not forget the people in the community who were staying there months at a time. It just felt like HOME. Thank you everyone.

We have a fantastic time. I just wish that the deluxe patio site was a little bit bigger in size. There were some back in that were bigger than site 52. But overall there was plenty of activities and the pool/ spa was awesome.

Had a wonderful time! Facilities and staff are great. Too much to do so little time. Plus the little town of Okeechobee is a nice little southern gem of a place to relax and soak in southern hospitality!

I did not appreciate a service contractor servicing motorhomes next to me while I was trying to have an enjoyable weekend. Running a diesel to heat it up to do an oil change while I’m outside trying to enjoy the environment was disrespectful. In my opinion, preventative maintenance on motorhomes should be done at repair facilities. Emergencies are a different issue.

Had a great weekend at the KOA the staff is very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed with the pool, we arrived Thursday, went to the pool Friday & Saturday and it was very dirty with yard debris and it wasn't because of the rain storm because the same bandaid was in the same area both days The new cabins are great.

I want to give kudos to Heidi and the shanty star in the food in Sierra in the general store and the three ladies at the front counter, especially Carson, who always remembers the animals and let's go broke with all the treats that she buys.although everyone here is excellent caring and like familythose fouryoung ladies have stood out some of the most patient, friendly and lovable

KOA Okeechobee turned our Fourth of July weekend into a real adventure. The activities were family oriented and had that small town holiday feeling that makes you settle in right away. We met local folks who were friendly and fun to talk to and the whole place felt welcoming from start to finish. The activity team kept everything running smoothly and made the weekend feel special. We helped carry in the watermelons for the assistant activity director and she recognized us throughout the rest of our stay, which added a fun personal touch. The maintenance staff deserves a huge shoutout. Our refrigerator tried to quit on a holiday weekend but the team went after it with real determination. They tested it, coaxed it, and out stubborned it until it started working again. Watching them win that battle was its own entertainment. The front desk team is a big part of why we keep coming back. They are kind, patient, and always make you feel like you are part of the KOA family the moment you walk in. The grounds were clean, the pool was sparkling, and the whole resort had an easygoing, friendly vibe. KOA Okeechobee gets five stars from us and we will absolutely be back.
