We had a wonderful time! Always something to do! Best structured events! Pool is clean and well kept! It would be great to have concessions by the pool again. Office staff was excellent and accommodating but it seemed their systems were down quite a bit, making it hard to get info. Love it here, coming back!

KOA is great and Okeechobee has been great for 15 years. Your new “No refund policy “ under any circumstances,coupled with pay all up front for 3 and 4 month stays is ridiculous. Robbery. Won’t be back until policy changes. Dave A PS. I know of 6 others doing same.

During our stay from March 19, 2025 thru March 23, 2025 There were some heavy demolition going on nearby of removing concrete camper pads which was very loud and disturbing and dust caused to be on my camper and car. I wanted to enjoy a peaceful time and this interrupted my time of stay.

KOA is consistently making improvements the last few years. A great assortment of activities & entertainment to do! Elizabeth in the office & Andrea are amazing, Jeff & Teresa in the Shanty are so good. Nathan has the golf course looking the best we've ever seen. Would much prefer the adult pool remain adults only & the area where horse shoes were converted into fenced large dog park.

We had a great first visit. Everyone was friendly, the campground clean, quiet and very dog friendly with all the owners we met very responsible.

The grounds and sites are very well maintained, however having to take your garbage to a single dump site which had an overflowing dumpster was disappointing. Also there needs to be more pet waste drop off locations throughout the grounds.

we had a great time at okeechobee koa and in the okeechobee area. the staff were friendly and helpful, the grounds and bathhouses were well-kept. we have no complaints or concerns and look forward to another stay in this location.

We were given an RV spot that backed-up to a row of townhouses, and were effectively in their backyard with nothing but a chain link fence separating us. Our "front yard" was a cabin (and not another camper), so we were also mere feet away from the party going on there. We eventually had to send our kids inside due to the f-bombs from that party. RVs should be next to other RV-ers.

Great place to stay. From golfing the 9 hole course, to playing LFC at the Shanty, to watching the sunset from our camper, it was very relaxing and fun. We will definitely stay here again!

Did not get to take part in activities. We’re only there 2 days. Enjoyed the surrounding parks. The KOA was very nice and everyone was super friendly. My only suggestion is better signage directions to the entrance. We will definitely come back next time though.

Only complaint is rules on bar staff. They are great people, dedicated and work very hard. They should be allowed to mingle and hang out with koa campers This rule is counterproductive to koa. I am a bar owner for 35 years.

We enjoyed the activities offered at this campground. The water was off about 3 times during the month we were there. Their internet service was down a few times which made things difficult for the employees. The people are great! Definitely coming back.

We returned for our second visit in the last 3 years. Our plans are to stay for a month or longer next year if sites are available. Great location with all you need and more close by. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

Our first stay at the Okeechobee KOA with our 5th Wheel. We enjoyed the site. Clean and gracious KOA. Friendly smiles everywhere. Our first stay and it will not be the last. We will be back!!

We were welcomed with a smile upon our arrival and given our information packet, along with instructions. The site was clean and welcoming. The neighbors were very friendly, but they didn't invite us to supper :) We have stayed at Okeechobee KOA several times and it is always a great place. We attended the Church service and it was great. We had some delicious ice cream on Sunday afternoon.

Lost my cat and the Rv community helped us all day look for her. We found her in the underneath the motor coach 12 hrs later. Thanks again and we will be back.

Park was clean and well maintained. Bathhouse #2 needs some plumbing work in the women’s showers. Great water pressure in the left shower stall. Very meager pressure in the others. Pools and hot tub were wonderful. Could use some new tables in the mailroom and the floor in there is dirty. Everything at our site was in working order and the maintenance/ cleaning crews are working hard with upkeep

Excellent staff and service. Great location. Daily activities. Camp site was nice and maintained. We are definitely planning to return next year for a longer stay.

Had a great weekend at the KOA the staff is very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed with the pool, we arrived Thursday, went to the pool Friday & Saturday and it was very dirty with yard debris and it wasn't because of the rain storm because the same bandaid was in the same area both days The new cabins are great.

I want to give kudos to Heidi and the shanty star in the food in Sierra in the general store and the three ladies at the front counter, especially Carson, who always remembers the animals and let's go broke with all the treats that she buys.although everyone here is excellent caring and like familythose fouryoung ladies have stood out some of the most patient, friendly and lovable

KOA Okeechobee turned our Fourth of July weekend into a real adventure. The activities were family oriented and had that small town holiday feeling that makes you settle in right away. We met local folks who were friendly and fun to talk to and the whole place felt welcoming from start to finish. The activity team kept everything running smoothly and made the weekend feel special. We helped carry in the watermelons for the assistant activity director and she recognized us throughout the rest of our stay, which added a fun personal touch. The maintenance staff deserves a huge shoutout. Our refrigerator tried to quit on a holiday weekend but the team went after it with real determination. They tested it, coaxed it, and out stubborned it until it started working again. Watching them win that battle was its own entertainment. The front desk team is a big part of why we keep coming back. They are kind, patient, and always make you feel like you are part of the KOA family the moment you walk in. The grounds were clean, the pool was sparkling, and the whole resort had an easygoing, friendly vibe. KOA Okeechobee gets five stars from us and we will absolutely be back.
