We were very disappointed that the hot tub was not working the entire week we were there. We came down from the bitter cold weather of NY and chose KOA Okeechobee campground for the hot tub and pool. On the other hand, the woman working in office are really kind, extremely efficient and are the sweetest!

Great 5 night stay in our cabin. It was equipped with all we needed. Wonderful pools and very friendly staff and guests. This was our 2nd stay and We will be back!

Charging for wi-fi is crazy. I can see charging longer term residents but charging someone staying a few days or a week is gouging.

Staff was friendly, but park was full of mosquitoes. Way too busy. I left a day early. They asked how it was told them too many mosquitoes and they said thank you.

We've been coming to Okeechobee KOA for 25 winters. Love it. Thank you for replacing the floor in the Club House and other up grades. We've reserved for winter 26/27 : )

Really great staff. Wonderful amenities. However our power box had bad power as did the camper next to us who said he’d been asking to have it fixed. That kept our AC from working properly which is not good in Florida. We were in 228 for one night. That said it is a great spot with clean bathrooms and lots to do. Great for a long term stay.

Very nice place, kept very clean. Have a good of activities for people to do. Would definitely recommend. Just a small suggestion for the 1/2 bedroom cabins, maybe a mirror in the bedrooms for other people getting ready and hooks in the bathroom to hang towels.

Nice and clean campground, a lot of daily activities, 2 pools and 1 is heated, golf, many showers & laundry available, I would recommend this camping. My only concern is in cancelling policy, not really flexible but maybe it is the same to many places. But if we need to book again, we will certainly do...

The campground is very clean. Staff in office very friendly. Maintenance staff not so much. If you want busy busy busy this place is for you. The resort is very large, thus many golf carts and vehicles driving around constantly. You have to take your trash to the one dumpster that’s in the middle of the park. Not convenient if you don’t have a golf cart. KOA is geared for the snowbirds.

Had an issue with the first assigned space and they corrected right away to get us a spot we could use. Nice place but feels very crowded with the way the sights are crowded together and the roads are not very wide. All in all though we enjoyed our stay.

Everyone was nice and very helpful. Housekeeping was amazing. Helped us out a lot. lol. The front desk lady was great with helping with technology. � general store young lady dark hair was very cherry and up lifting when chatting with her each day

Stayed for 3 months. So good things are happening but the trash overflowing situation needs corrected. Also the fish cleaning house needs better drainage. It flows out into the street and smells terrible. I had to call the office to get the dead fish buckets emptied. They were full for 5 days. The game room is open now and very nice. The food at the poolside was excellent along with live music

Largest KOA in America with ONE dumpster you have to walk garbage to! $10 cornhole rental…c’mon! Sites very close together. Inadequate laundry facilities. Hot tub out of service. Theres more but ran out of space on this critique.

Always a pleasure! More people (south side) are feeding birds and making a mess on campers and vehicles. Some campers have 4 or more pets. The acoustics/speaker system in the convention center need improvement. We appreciate the hard working staff!

Our site was terrible, the driveway was cracked all over which made it difficult to get our camper level. The tree made a mess of everything which was made even worse by the rain. The food by the pool was pretty good for the price, except the wings, they were over priced. Overall we enjoyed our trip but it sure if or when we would visit again.

Bathrooms clean There many golf carts speeding around. They also blocked walkways to restrooms while stopped to talk with friends. The most disruptive was the lawn mower and edge trimmers. Very noisy. The leaves were blowing into my legs. They came way to close to me. We choose this spot due to its location to the lake and trail. Not our ideal type of a relaxing time.

Love the people and the campground. Disappointed in the pool lack of heat at times as well as the hot tub working part time. I was 1 of the people that scrubbed the pool that one day. Your pool company was definitely not doing all that they should have been. We have signed up for 3 months this winter and are looking forward to it

Park is nice, pool is great, but. Went to the Valentine dance, bar lineup was 30 minutes, food line was 45 minutes, lack of origination, won’t be making that mistake again, and the sound system was like a drive up window, except I didn’t know if I was getting fries with that. All staff that I met was great.

We had issues with our electric tripping off when we first got there but an electrician came and replaced one of the 30 Amp fuses. Although we don't mind taking our garbage to a designated site within the campground, KOA should really think of moving their existing site to INSIDE the maintenance/boat storage area. Lastly, this was the first year we saw children at the adult pool and it daily.

1- Flooding an issue. 2- Cable TV- Internet a big issue. 3- You Can’t expect people to drag trash way down to dumpsters that are overflowing. 4- Office Employees were great/friendly. 5- Cement pads need major attention. 6- pool activity/music great.

There should be more than one dumpster to be able to bring your trash to seeing if it’s not picked up anymore at your site. The cable TV is spotty at Best.

Had a great weekend at the KOA the staff is very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed with the pool, we arrived Thursday, went to the pool Friday & Saturday and it was very dirty with yard debris and it wasn't because of the rain storm because the same bandaid was in the same area both days The new cabins are great.

I want to give kudos to Heidi and the shanty star in the food in Sierra in the general store and the three ladies at the front counter, especially Carson, who always remembers the animals and let's go broke with all the treats that she buys.although everyone here is excellent caring and like familythose fouryoung ladies have stood out some of the most patient, friendly and lovable

KOA Okeechobee turned our Fourth of July weekend into a real adventure. The activities were family oriented and had that small town holiday feeling that makes you settle in right away. We met local folks who were friendly and fun to talk to and the whole place felt welcoming from start to finish. The activity team kept everything running smoothly and made the weekend feel special. We helped carry in the watermelons for the assistant activity director and she recognized us throughout the rest of our stay, which added a fun personal touch. The maintenance staff deserves a huge shoutout. Our refrigerator tried to quit on a holiday weekend but the team went after it with real determination. They tested it, coaxed it, and out stubborned it until it started working again. Watching them win that battle was its own entertainment. The front desk team is a big part of why we keep coming back. They are kind, patient, and always make you feel like you are part of the KOA family the moment you walk in. The grounds were clean, the pool was sparkling, and the whole resort had an easygoing, friendly vibe. KOA Okeechobee gets five stars from us and we will absolutely be back.
