We stayed for two months and liked it so much we booked next winter for three months. The employees were awesome. The activities for the guests were top notch and the entertainment was excellent. The campground is well maintained.

This was our third time staying here and it's a beautiful place and we'll be back again. The refrigerator doors NEED to be reversed and it's capable to have done that, to small an area to dance with opening the fridge. Not a fan of the pre-register Emails that we kept getting even after we checked into our cabin AND got one even after we got home. Very annoying.

Elizabeth, Anita (both of them) Denise, Ki in maintenance, the ladies in the store, the golf ranger all amazing! 2 side notes - mass texts about power outages should be a little more detailed to not alarm residents not affected who have pets in the trailers but are away from the trailer. The trash pickup and container placement is a huge disappointment to many residents. Many discuss this o

Stayed 2 weeks. The campgrounds were clean. Nice area always seem to have a nice breeze. I used the gym quite a bit. It was outdated. A few times the bathrooms would not have soap which seemed to be the bathroom used by snack shack employees. Pool was nice a bit crowded.Staff was not as friendly as other koa experiences. Visiting daughters in area and told they have to pay to visit us at our site.

This is one of the best KOA camp grounds we have stayed at. That’s why we have been there a few times now and we will definitely be back again in the fall. The best staff in the business. Always asking how everything is and how we are doing. Thanks again for a great week.

Was a nice place to stay. We stayed in cabin KL5. My wife stepped on piece of glass in the cabin. She got a sliver in her foot. So I swept the floor and found a lot of pieces on the floor. Plus a large piece that I gave to the front desk. Wasn’t too happy about the house cleaning that should have been caught.

Very crowded. Little to NO place to walk peacefully with your dog or just yourself. Dog park not the answer, since someone is always in it. Not adequate to handle the volume of pets.

Le site dos au golf est magnifique ϸ

Sucked. Rude check in people. Room small. Unbelievable amount of paperwork to just rent a cabin for two nights. Felt afraid to touch or use the cabin. Never stay again!

Checking in was a breeze. My assigned lot #56 was the perfect size for my Airstream Caravel 20 FB and my Silverado pick-up truck. I especially liked being a very short walk to the communal showers.

There's something to do for everyone. Fishing, swimming, golf, bingo, pickle ball, tennis to name a few.

The small children's pool and the pool by the playground is extremely cold. Not a fan of not being able to get food on Sunday. My concrete spot had mostly broken concrete making it difficult for a partially handicapped person like myself.

We are locals (Fort Pierce) and have grandkids in Okeechobee this KOA is the perfect spot to enjoy both our family and your amenities.Staff is always pleasant at Registration and the General Stire. Thanks

it was nice, except there was alot of kids playing in the narrow streets, which greatly increases for the possibility of something to go wrong.
Mar 23, 2026
Hot tub broken, major cement work scheduled during our stay which closed the game room for 3 days! Manager refused any credit and was rude about it!

My husband and I always rent the 2 same cabins (KL6&KL7) every year for our kids because they accommodate the larger families. Unfortunately, they have become rundown and many items that they used to contain (bbq, kettle, many utensils and kitchenware) have gone missing without a replacement. Also, the entry door on KL7 should have been plained, to fully open, years ago. They are now very expensive

The cabin was nice and worked well for our stay. The resort was great!

swimming in the pool by the grill some of the other guests/residents took it upon themselves to clean the pool with Dawn dish detergent. At one point the manager talked to the people cleaning but did not stop them. Bubbles started to form at so we left. Hopefully none of no one had an allergic reaction. Temperature was unstable which lead to over crowding in the other pool. Disappointed no recy

A “Resort” with no trash pickup, no one guides you to your site. Sites are extremely small. This a parking lot. Won’t come back, not worth the money.

The KOA facility was very nice. Our deluxe cabin, however, had no supplies- no utensils or drinking cups or things of that nature. We would suggest that minimal supplies be included, or that guests receive clear notification that they are not. We will definitely be back, and enjoyed our stay despite that. Next year, we will probably try to get a better equipped lodging option.

Very nice and clean.

Staff very friendly and helpful! Dog park was awesome! TV worked great! Pool was great! Bathroom by pool smelled bad. Golf area was great! Practice ball buckets inexpensive. We were not happy with size of cabin and location (KK2). Not a lot of selection for families' w/ dogs. Very cramped for "deluxe." Bathroom had wasted space. Essentially no storage. Roughly 20-25 min walk from cabin to dog park

Awesome Campground!

Lack of effective WIFI and cable, is a big disappointment since it’s advertised on your web page, and brochures. A killer for us.

It was a great stay and had a good time. Sleeping arrangements was pretty good. Could use a bigger TV in living room and maybe add one to the bedroom. WiFi was a bit slow for streaming. Besides that I believe the entertainment at the pool and bar were pretty good.

The concrete drive at our site was cracked badly and it made hard to use it. There wasn’t a trash pick up like most other KOA. The KOA was quiet and the staff was nice and polite. The only issue we had was when leaving there wasn’t any signs directing us to the exit. So we ended up going out the wrong way but the campers were nice and just let us thru.

Had a great weekend at the KOA the staff is very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed with the pool, we arrived Thursday, went to the pool Friday & Saturday and it was very dirty with yard debris and it wasn't because of the rain storm because the same bandaid was in the same area both days The new cabins are great.

I want to give kudos to Heidi and the shanty star in the food in Sierra in the general store and the three ladies at the front counter, especially Carson, who always remembers the animals and let's go broke with all the treats that she buys.although everyone here is excellent caring and like familythose fouryoung ladies have stood out some of the most patient, friendly and lovable

KOA Okeechobee turned our Fourth of July weekend into a real adventure. The activities were family oriented and had that small town holiday feeling that makes you settle in right away. We met local folks who were friendly and fun to talk to and the whole place felt welcoming from start to finish. The activity team kept everything running smoothly and made the weekend feel special. We helped carry in the watermelons for the assistant activity director and she recognized us throughout the rest of our stay, which added a fun personal touch. The maintenance staff deserves a huge shoutout. Our refrigerator tried to quit on a holiday weekend but the team went after it with real determination. They tested it, coaxed it, and out stubborned it until it started working again. Watching them win that battle was its own entertainment. The front desk team is a big part of why we keep coming back. They are kind, patient, and always make you feel like you are part of the KOA family the moment you walk in. The grounds were clean, the pool was sparkling, and the whole resort had an easygoing, friendly vibe. KOA Okeechobee gets five stars from us and we will absolutely be back.
