Although the office staff is very nice, I found the campground itself to be messy. When we arrived at our site, it was clear the cut the grass and left the grass all over the pad. It obviously was there a few days. There was literal garbage still left on site by whoever was there previous to us. The sites in the so called premium spots are extremely close to you’re neighbor.

I was able to stay here on the membership weekend, stay one night, get one free. Otherwise it would have been $135 per night. It is a resort, but that seems high, so just be aware of the pricing. There was plenty to do for adults, like the Shanty Bar, with friendly and helpful staff. The mens bathroom by the RV sites is very small, almost too much so. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

All good and staff are friendly. The lack of enough free wifi was odd considering this location is the largest in the US.

We go there because we can enjoy the live music and drinks and we do not have to drive. Also nice kept up pool during the day and access to food and store on the grounds, We travel with our fur baby which is a plus they take pets. A bit steep on the charge for pets considering that we do not travel with children which use more recourses and make more mess than pets.

Sites were all broken up and grass was not cut and tall weeds. We've been going there for many years and it seems to have gone downhill a lot.

We enjoyed our stay. We come every Labor Day weekend. I have to say that I was not happy about there being a $30.00 early check in fee, if no one is in the site. Not sure why it would matter? Also, if I had brought my grandchildren with us, I would have been very disappointed with the play area. It looked very neglected.

I paid for A patio site and yes, the patio site was there but not as pictured. It was a pull through site but the patio Porsche was so far forward on the slab that you could not get the stairs on it so the three campers that were in a row at least particular sites, all our stairs and in the grass it was a rainy weekend in the grass held puddles so all we did was track water and mud into the camper

I hate to say it but we were very disappointed at the condition of the campground in general. Definitely not up to the KOA standards that I have experienced for 30+ years. The pool, playground, putt putt golf, and grounds in general in total disrepair. The "adult" pool was better but still disappointing.

We love to get away for the weekend and relax and play golf and the Okeechobee KOA is perfect for that. So combined with very professional and friendly staff it’s the perfect getaway.

Tv kept going out. Despite reservations well in advance given the one cabin in front of apartment building. Saw what appeared to be drug dealing outside our patio. Did not feel safe. Left early. Won’t be back. Overpriced too.

Great golf course and pools. Laundry room had machines out of order and Rv lot hookups are aged & need updating. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

We stayed here because of its proximity to our storage unit. We had been traveling for 6 months and this was by far the most expensive campground we paid for ($146/nt). It's WAY overpriced. It has many amenities but the sites are very narrow. The spaces between the sites are grass and it had rained so every time we went out, our shoes got soaked. Not worth the expense for our tastes.

Stay was overall good, however there were a few issues that we experienced along with lack of communication of changes that were not in the rules. Also after it rains maintenance needs to come to the sites the red ants were horrible we purchased ant killer ourself to help battle them at our site

We loved the new cabin 283 it was very comfortable the only thing it didn't have was any place to put your soaps and shampoos in the shower or no hooks to or towel bars to hang your wet towels and suits on.

Had a great time and for the most part the camp ground is very nice. Only problem was the 30 amp kept popping for myself and several other camper around. Once I switched to the 50amp I had no issues. I have never needed to use my 50 amp adapter in the last 4 years luckily I had it with me.

Everything was pleasant except the last night! I was in spot 94 and the people in spot 95 kept us awake till 2am with loud music, singing and talking. I think I deserve something for inconvenience after all I have been to your camp many times!

I had a wonderful tenting, Fourth of July camping experience at KOA in Okeechobee, Florida. The staff was so nice and pleasant, and there were always activities and the shanty karaoke gig on July 5 was the bomb.

Stayed in deluxe cabin was great. Staff was friendly. Elizabeth at check-in is welcoming and knowledgeable of any questions. Had food at store great service. I have been coming over 20 yrs seen the park at its best and worst. Glad to see upgrades are being made and people are starting to come camping again. As the park had more customers this weekend. I love KOA parks

Had a great weekend at the KOA the staff is very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed with the pool, we arrived Thursday, went to the pool Friday & Saturday and it was very dirty with yard debris and it wasn't because of the rain storm because the same bandaid was in the same area both days The new cabins are great.

I want to give kudos to Heidi and the shanty star in the food in Sierra in the general store and the three ladies at the front counter, especially Carson, who always remembers the animals and let's go broke with all the treats that she buys.although everyone here is excellent caring and like familythose fouryoung ladies have stood out some of the most patient, friendly and lovable

KOA Okeechobee turned our Fourth of July weekend into a real adventure. The activities were family oriented and had that small town holiday feeling that makes you settle in right away. We met local folks who were friendly and fun to talk to and the whole place felt welcoming from start to finish. The activity team kept everything running smoothly and made the weekend feel special. We helped carry in the watermelons for the assistant activity director and she recognized us throughout the rest of our stay, which added a fun personal touch. The maintenance staff deserves a huge shoutout. Our refrigerator tried to quit on a holiday weekend but the team went after it with real determination. They tested it, coaxed it, and out stubborned it until it started working again. Watching them win that battle was its own entertainment. The front desk team is a big part of why we keep coming back. They are kind, patient, and always make you feel like you are part of the KOA family the moment you walk in. The grounds were clean, the pool was sparkling, and the whole resort had an easygoing, friendly vibe. KOA Okeechobee gets five stars from us and we will absolutely be back.
