good stay, my RV requires 50 amp service. they put me on a side that the 50 amp plug was already taken. had to get another side. WIFI is verry slow! Pool parity on Saturday was great. we really enjoyed the weekend!

We have stayed the past 3 years on memorial day weekend and always have a great time. Very clean bathrooms & showers. Staff is very nice, professional and accommodating.

What an incredible staff and campground. It is clean and peaceful. Very close to some great sightseeing. The staff texts you everyday to check in and let you know about events and things around the campground. I will definitely be back!

The closest bath house and restrooms were closed. We were not informed at check in. During our stay the Shanty was also closed.

One set of bathrooms was closed. The other set. Had one shower with water pressure. One shower without the other two did not work.

we needed a pet friendly handicap accessable, the unit was nice, clean, bedroom was very small to walk around the bed. it was fine for a short stay. I am finding koa's in general have very few units with just a one step up, most have 3-4, we have a golden retriever that can not do steps. it has been a challenge finding ramp units

Great pool, dog park and bath houses. Had a great time at the Shanty watching Boho Cowboy perform. Didn’t try food at the snack bar but plan to next time. Did get an ice cream cone at the little store. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. Wasn’t our first time and won’t be our last.

Check-in was easy and pleasant. Hookups worked, electricity seemed consistent, and the grounds were maintained. Staff was friendly and most of the guests we passed were cordial. Everyone was relaxing and didn't encounter any loud or unruly people. We were testing out our new Class C RV on a quick overnight stay so we didn't use any of the amenities, but we'll be back! :D

Wonderful staff. Campground and facilities are very neat and clean. I do think fees should be adjusted when stays are thru a high and low month..Also, when the koa is emptier, allow park8ng in vacant sites.

We spent five days and four nights with a back insight on the golf course. The weather was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing. We have been here many times and love this place. The golf course has been well-maintained and the people are friendly, we will be back.

Great quite place to stay. A big plus was the dog park, due not allowing our pet fence. Would recommend and be back.

Backed into a spot with a a shared power tower. The electric towers has a 50 amp and a 30 amp plug in. The 50 amp was being used by my neighbor. I drove up to the front and was assigned to a different spot. When I got to the next spot I plugged into the 50 amp service. But, the cap on the shared sewer drain cap was stuck. More.to say but I have reach my limit! : (

Unique- a Golf Course in the middle of “North Americas largest KOA!” Also, we loved the location- right near the North Pier on the Lake. Enjoyed our stay here.

Had a great time. Disappointed the Shanty Lounge was closed for a whole day. Pickleball courts were nice, would’ve been nice if they had a little more shade. Pool was amazing. Perfect temp for these warm Florida days.

This was our first time staying here with friends for the weekend. All office staff, especially Karson, were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be coming back again!

Had a wonderful time from start to finish. Staff greeted us so kindly and made up our cabin so clean and delightful. The grounds were also very clean as well as the pools and bar and grill. we will stay here again soon.

This campground has really declined in the last couple years and even more so now. I paid for a concrete pad site as described on website. When we arrived it was a gravel site with completely cracked concrete where the supposed patio furniture is supposed to be. Pool area drunk groups, pulling pants down and men showing privates. Female bath shower heads missing. Very discouraging. Pool grill exce

Stayed here a few times. Always spot on. Friendly professional people at the front desk. Cabin clean and ready upon arrival. Ground meticulously maintained. Phenomenal KOA. This from a guy who started staying at KOA as a kid in 1975.

The park was clean and the staff were very friendly. We were highly disappointed in some of the rules which we did not check before coming. Not being able to put up our enclosure for our baby and dogs was a huge inconvenience. There was no playground for our son to play at. And the street areas were a bit small for backing in our large fifth wheel camper. Unfortunately we won't stay at a KOA

Only stayed one night, but this was the best KoA ever for us. Clean & neat-totally well kept up. Large pool. More amenities- list too long for here so see their web site listing. Even serve breakfast at reasonable prices! Looking forward to staying longer next time.

Love this facility. Cabin KK3. Shower head water goes out of shower can’t bring it down, knob is messed up as well. Animal dropping on pillow and kitchen table when we arrived. Droppings on table every morning and after coming in at night. Staff was great. Friend in KL2 had palmetto bug infestation. Very expensive rental to have these types of issues. Look forward to returning to better condit

Had a great weekend at the KOA the staff is very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed with the pool, we arrived Thursday, went to the pool Friday & Saturday and it was very dirty with yard debris and it wasn't because of the rain storm because the same bandaid was in the same area both days The new cabins are great.

I want to give kudos to Heidi and the shanty star in the food in Sierra in the general store and the three ladies at the front counter, especially Carson, who always remembers the animals and let's go broke with all the treats that she buys.although everyone here is excellent caring and like familythose fouryoung ladies have stood out some of the most patient, friendly and lovable

KOA Okeechobee turned our Fourth of July weekend into a real adventure. The activities were family oriented and had that small town holiday feeling that makes you settle in right away. We met local folks who were friendly and fun to talk to and the whole place felt welcoming from start to finish. The activity team kept everything running smoothly and made the weekend feel special. We helped carry in the watermelons for the assistant activity director and she recognized us throughout the rest of our stay, which added a fun personal touch. The maintenance staff deserves a huge shoutout. Our refrigerator tried to quit on a holiday weekend but the team went after it with real determination. They tested it, coaxed it, and out stubborned it until it started working again. Watching them win that battle was its own entertainment. The front desk team is a big part of why we keep coming back. They are kind, patient, and always make you feel like you are part of the KOA family the moment you walk in. The grounds were clean, the pool was sparkling, and the whole resort had an easygoing, friendly vibe. KOA Okeechobee gets five stars from us and we will absolutely be back.
