The AC didn't work in the cabin (it was actually cooler outside than inside by morning). Also, the deodorant they sprayed in the cabin was too strong, nauseating.

For a koa property, very run down. Scary playground and shuffleboard should be removed. Putt putt was not well maintained. Store, to include food service, closed at 3pm each day. Pool was very nice. Campground was quiet and cabin was fine except broken porch swing and a door you had to slam so hard to close I feared glass would break. Not up to Koa standards.

Enjoyed the stay, staff was friendly....but the site infrastructure is tired, needs updating. Once upon a time, in the '70's this was a nice resort. Must say, not worth the $$$. Updated!!!

WE ALWAYS ENJOY STAYING HERE. THE STAFF IS HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. WE ENJOY THE POOLS AND SHANTY. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPOINTED WITH THE MUSIC. THE ONLY NEGATIVES WE HAVE ARE..... BOTH POOLS NEED SOME REAL ATTENTION, WE PREFERRED WHEN CHILDREN WERE NOT PERMITTED IN THE ADULT POOL, AND YOU REALY NEED TO WORD ON THE LAUNDRIES.

We stayed at this KOA for 3 nights . There was a Halloween party on Saturday night which was great. We had a lot of fun. We have 2 dogs that loved the dog park. We always enjoy going to KOAs . The place was clean with friendly workers. We enjoyed our stay here.

This is our third annual visit! The new cabins are amazing!! Only little comments would be the children’s playground not being accessible and perhaps more activities for the Halloween weekend. The kids really loved the tie dye in years past too. We will be back!

The cabin that sleeps 7 was in no way set up to accommodate 7 people. There were only 4 plates and less utensils. And the cabin was extremely cramped with 7 people. This is a 2-4 person cabin not a 7! And it was very expensive for how tiny it was. I could get an entire house with a pool on airbnb for that price! We will not be back.

As a store/use family, I am very disappointed that I was not allowed to rollover 2 nights that we never used due to Milton. They were already paid for and the KOA would not lose any $ by allowing us to use it 9/25 - 9/27. Katie never even acknowledged or responded to my concern/request. Peggy is the rudest most unprofessional human at KOA. As a result, I cancelled the rest of my stays at Okee KOA.

I stayed in one of the ‘camping cabins’ instead of a tent pad. It was just perfect, providing me with what I needed but not breaking the bank. Huge campground that was quite clean after hurricane Milton had just plowed through days earlier.

With the recent hurricane that came through, power to the sites was hit or miss. Denise and Elizabeth made sure we had a site with power, so that we could keep our reservation and have a great weekend!

In spite of the storm damage, power and water outages, the park was nice. The staff was unbelievably accommodating and helpful and made the stay a positive experience. We can’t wait to come back under better circumstances and enjoy all the amenities that were unavailable due to the storm.

Staff was awesome and very helpful during our stay! Cabin was well equipped - it's getting a little old and a little run down compared to the other cabins, but I guess that's what you get when you have a dog with you! We enjoyed our stay.

This is only the second Resort KOA we stayed at in the US, but we were not impressed. Most sites had severely cracked concrete site. Playground was in an overgrown sunken swamp and off limits. Bocce and Shuffleboard courts were covered in weeds. Minigolfcourse were beyond discusting and broken with holes filled with black sludge. Two pools and a golf course were nice, but maintenance were lacking.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had to evacuate from the west coast of FL due to Hurricane Helene and there was no problem with needing to extend our stay if we had to. They also had an information packet for just in case an evaluation order came for their county. That's looking out for your guests!

We had a very nice stay in the Deluxe 2 bedroom cabin KL7. The one negative was the loud air conditioner in the living area. Other than that, it was clean, plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathroom and stocked kitchen with dishes and dish soap and paper towels was awesome. We hope to be back again! The Eagle Bay Airboat ride was fun and close to the KOA Campground.

Retamped during the customer appreciation weekend and got Saturday night free. We actually booked our stay from Thursday through Tuesday and took advantage of all the great amenities they have there. It happened to be my birthday and I had a great time.

Everyone and everything was very very good. Some of the amenities were in a bit of disrepair like mini golf, shuffle board and a playground. The golf course and driving range were very good. The General Store was awesome and the food we ate there was very tasty.

Its a nice place little run down, mini golf is very old, golf course looks nice the bar is nice, nice pools. The town is walking distance from the KOA fast food, sit down restaurants lots of shopping stores ( what ever you want is there ) The staff was very nice,

The first site given to us the concrete pad was busted up. The second site assigned to us had plumbing issues. The cap for the sewage was siliconed in and the electric came off of the electric box behind us. No dedicated electric for the site. If you are charging top prices you should not be struggling with electric and sewage issues.

Had a great weekend at the KOA the staff is very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed with the pool, we arrived Thursday, went to the pool Friday & Saturday and it was very dirty with yard debris and it wasn't because of the rain storm because the same bandaid was in the same area both days The new cabins are great.

I want to give kudos to Heidi and the shanty star in the food in Sierra in the general store and the three ladies at the front counter, especially Carson, who always remembers the animals and let's go broke with all the treats that she buys.although everyone here is excellent caring and like familythose fouryoung ladies have stood out some of the most patient, friendly and lovable

KOA Okeechobee turned our Fourth of July weekend into a real adventure. The activities were family oriented and had that small town holiday feeling that makes you settle in right away. We met local folks who were friendly and fun to talk to and the whole place felt welcoming from start to finish. The activity team kept everything running smoothly and made the weekend feel special. We helped carry in the watermelons for the assistant activity director and she recognized us throughout the rest of our stay, which added a fun personal touch. The maintenance staff deserves a huge shoutout. Our refrigerator tried to quit on a holiday weekend but the team went after it with real determination. They tested it, coaxed it, and out stubborned it until it started working again. Watching them win that battle was its own entertainment. The front desk team is a big part of why we keep coming back. They are kind, patient, and always make you feel like you are part of the KOA family the moment you walk in. The grounds were clean, the pool was sparkling, and the whole resort had an easygoing, friendly vibe. KOA Okeechobee gets five stars from us and we will absolutely be back.
