Had a great snowbird season at KOA. the staff (especially Teresa and Jeff) and planned events were wonderful and the place is looking great. Thank you Ed and staff for a great winter. Looking forward to next season.

Excellent but better location for garbage bins required! Very unsightly and awful for those people on site in close proximity to the bins not to mention the constant traffic for the with garbage drop off should be in back out of sight!

We had a wonderful time! Always something to do! Best structured events! Pool is clean and well kept! It would be great to have concessions by the pool again. Office staff was excellent and accommodating but it seemed their systems were down quite a bit, making it hard to get info. Love it here, coming back!

This campground is the best we have ever stayed at. I am so happy with my experience. This team goes above and beyond in customer service every time. Everyone is so sweet, the site is very clean. The environment is so calm and welcoming.

KOA is great and Okeechobee has been great for 15 years. Your new “No refund policy “ under any circumstances,coupled with pay all up front for 3 and 4 month stays is ridiculous. Robbery. Won’t be back until policy changes. Dave A PS. I know of 6 others doing same.

During our stay from March 19, 2025 thru March 23, 2025 There were some heavy demolition going on nearby of removing concrete camper pads which was very loud and disturbing and dust caused to be on my camper and car. I wanted to enjoy a peaceful time and this interrupted my time of stay.

Both cabins I rented were awesome. Clean and spacious. We enjoyed the fire pits and there was plenty of parking. Everyone at the front desk was really nice and the checkin/check out process was fast and easy.

We were going to stay 3 nights. Stayed one night. The people next to us were playing loud music, singing, and smoking. The smoke smell was right in our faces. We called and called after the 11 PM quiet time. I was told in one of the phone calls that there wasn't anything much that could be done. I then asked about why even have a quiet time then. Finally at 12:30 someone came.

When we were RVers, we’d arrive at the KOA and were permitted to go directly to our site. However, when staying in a cabin, we arrived at 2:00, the cabin was clean and ready but we were not permitted to even get the key till 3:00. Different rules for different types of travellers? I can understand if the cabin wasn’t ready.

KOA is consistently making improvements the last few years. A great assortment of activities & entertainment to do! Elizabeth in the office & Andrea are amazing, Jeff & Teresa in the Shanty are so good. Nathan has the golf course looking the best we've ever seen. Would much prefer the adult pool remain adults only & the area where horse shoes were converted into fenced large dog park.

We had a beautiful Spring Break 2025 and weather was perfect and stayed in the vacation rental for 6. There was a no fire burn due to winds so we improvised doing our smores on the grill. We saw many kinds of wildlife which the children loved. Had to go out and purchase forks and spoons to have enough for all to eat together, but that was okay with us.

The grounds and sites are very well maintained, however having to take your garbage to a single dump site which had an overflowing dumpster was disappointing. Also there needs to be more pet waste drop off locations throughout the grounds.

The cabin was clean and perfect. The camp site was very clean. Our biggest issue is that it’s not exactly kid friendly. There was no game room as advertised. The kids got yelled at in the pool while a women did her “laps” and they were told to stay on the other side of the pool. They couldn’t even sit in while we played bingo. It’s great for the 55 and over crowd. It’s not a family cam

Rented in north side. Nice cottage. Black tanks were full when we checked in causing bad smell in camper. Ty was wonderful came on a Friday night and cleared the blockage and emptied the tank. Should be cleaned prior to new person check in and checked/cleaned weekly to avoid the stench. Also Omar was wonderful very receptive to providing clean linens Was unaware they no longer provided cleaning

we had a great time at okeechobee koa and in the okeechobee area. the staff were friendly and helpful, the grounds and bathhouses were well-kept. we have no complaints or concerns and look forward to another stay in this location.

We were given an RV spot that backed-up to a row of townhouses, and were effectively in their backyard with nothing but a chain link fence separating us. Our "front yard" was a cabin (and not another camper), so we were also mere feet away from the party going on there. We eventually had to send our kids inside due to the f-bombs from that party. RVs should be next to other RV-ers.

Great place to stay. From golfing the 9 hole course, to playing LFC at the Shanty, to watching the sunset from our camper, it was very relaxing and fun. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful clean facilities and very friendly, helpful staff. We stayed in a cabin, and it was outfitted with all we needed. Great alternative to being cooped up in a hotel room.

Did not get to take part in activities. We’re only there 2 days. Enjoyed the surrounding parks. The KOA was very nice and everyone was super friendly. My only suggestion is better signage directions to the entrance. We will definitely come back next time though.

Only complaint is rules on bar staff. They are great people, dedicated and work very hard. They should be allowed to mingle and hang out with koa campers This rule is counterproductive to koa. I am a bar owner for 35 years.

Had a great weekend at the KOA the staff is very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed with the pool, we arrived Thursday, went to the pool Friday & Saturday and it was very dirty with yard debris and it wasn't because of the rain storm because the same bandaid was in the same area both days The new cabins are great.

I want to give kudos to Heidi and the shanty star in the food in Sierra in the general store and the three ladies at the front counter, especially Carson, who always remembers the animals and let's go broke with all the treats that she buys.although everyone here is excellent caring and like familythose fouryoung ladies have stood out some of the most patient, friendly and lovable

KOA Okeechobee turned our Fourth of July weekend into a real adventure. The activities were family oriented and had that small town holiday feeling that makes you settle in right away. We met local folks who were friendly and fun to talk to and the whole place felt welcoming from start to finish. The activity team kept everything running smoothly and made the weekend feel special. We helped carry in the watermelons for the assistant activity director and she recognized us throughout the rest of our stay, which added a fun personal touch. The maintenance staff deserves a huge shoutout. Our refrigerator tried to quit on a holiday weekend but the team went after it with real determination. They tested it, coaxed it, and out stubborned it until it started working again. Watching them win that battle was its own entertainment. The front desk team is a big part of why we keep coming back. They are kind, patient, and always make you feel like you are part of the KOA family the moment you walk in. The grounds were clean, the pool was sparkling, and the whole resort had an easygoing, friendly vibe. KOA Okeechobee gets five stars from us and we will absolutely be back.
