Really loved our stay! Great site backed up to the golf course - sunrise and sunset beautiful! Bathrooms clean with excellent water pressure. Appreciate the dog wash for our little guy as we had been out for 10 days! Played golf, practiced pickleball and loved it! Staff was excellent and so helpful with everything! Love this KOA and absolutely will be back! Hope to enjoy the pool next time, too!

Ms Elizabeth was a great help from the very start as the online booking was timing out, so I called in and she helped me take care of it quickly while providing other helpful info about things to do with my grandkids while there. She was also the one who checked us in when we arrived. The staff we met were friendly & helpful. Loved the 2br cabin, pools & putt putt. Wish it had a playground tho.

My only complaint is that something NEEDS to be done about the spiders and bigs inside the brand new cabins. I killed at least 5-10 spiders a day. They were coming in from the smoke detectors..hiding behind the molding and they really scared my kids.

We loved the park! It was beautiful. Might want to check the 30 amp breaker on #84 where we were, it kept blowing. Thank you for all the hard work you put into making the campground so inviting and fun to stay at����

Even with a lot of rain we had a good time but would love more activities for kids and family yes there was craft time two day but it was same crafts both days still no park for kids to play at the staff is great friendly part kept clean. Just wish you did more family activities. Give you a family sing-along from Back movie night the Golf car parade tie-dye T-shirt the new cabins are amazing

Overall we love it here and will be back. Nights at the Shanty is our favorite thing to do. Discontinuing garbage pickup was an inconvenience having a class c and no golf cart. Much more enjoyable when adult pool was strictly adults. In the past we got a lot of channels on cable hookup and now we only got 4.

Campground was very well maintained. All staff members were kind and helpful. Our two small dogs loved the dog park which was well taken care of also. It was a very pleasant experience. We will definitely return!

Not sure why they did away with the adult pool but that was our favorite part. We are not fans of them using the adult pool. Not sure of why they gave us a list of restaurant food served with no hours of serving. Went looking at 3:05 and store was closed at 3:00.

Stayed one night on our way to Key West. We used the pool for the kids, which they loved, and the showers for us, which were awesome. The only negative was that we needed ice and the general store closed early due to a problem with personnel. Would stay again if we are in the area.

Love this KOA. Lots to do with golf, driving range/golf course, Shanty lounge, and pools. Pools need to be resurfaced (especially the family friendly one) but otherwise nice.

For a campground that has been around for more than 30 years the property is in amazing shape! The mature trees provided the shade we were looking for and close proximity to the pool was a bonus. We found the pool and recreation areas very clean and kept up nicely. We enjoyed meeting some of the long term residents in "The Shanty" lounge and participated in a game of Left, Right, Center!

We rented a cabin in May, beautiful unit. The ac in the main bedroom didn't work and actually we used the one in the living room. I should have told the staff but didnt. Hopefully someone did and it's fixed now for the next person. Campground very well maintained. There are hot spots all over, not sure why they went that way for wi-fi but I wont get into I/T spec on this review. Love it!

Very clean. Great pool. Front desk staff was very nice. Perfect stay. Close to Publix. Pogey's Restaurant was a great suggestion. These folks take pride in their campground. A+ We stayed in the new Park Models. Just wonderful!

Grill was filthy, if you're not going to clean it then give me tools to clean it myself. Living room tv only played one station,called front desk they told me to call maintenance, shouldn't they do that? Light went out so opened window when put back down (once lights back on) window fell out,couldn't get window back in. Porch/railing full of spider web and spiders. cleaner need to outside too thx

The only reason I am rating a 4 is because Bathroom 1 still doesn't have working AC. It has been that way far to long, it's already in the high 90's + in there and I can't imagine what it'll be over the next few months. The staff however is the best it has ever been since we've been coming and we've been coming a long time. They are simply amazing!!

Everything we thought it would be and more. We'll equipped kitchen, toiletries and extremely clean. Opening the door gives you the wow feeling. Lovely clean pools,good music and entertainment. Will definitely be back in the future.

Property was very clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I had a flat tire, and the maintenance person was very kind in letting me use their air to fill it up. Highly recommend!

Nice campground, older but well maintained. Concrete pads, very shady. Interesting 9 hole par 34 golf course. Shanty bar is lots of fun. stated in late May so majority, if not all, snowbirds gone. A section of permanent residences on the far side of the golf course from the RV sites, also very well maintained. Staff friendly & helpful. Will stay here again

Almost a perfect stay. Last day we woke up to the air vent in the bathroom leaking due to it raining outside. Aside from that, it was awesome. Will be coming back!

Loved our spot, in the shade, on the canal. Very well maintained and clean. Staff was awesome Anita in the office, very helpful. Tyrone, in maintenance, also very nice, friendly and helpful.

Poor wifi, low water pressure, no trash pickup anymore and no longer helping you get to your site. These where the things that we go to a KOA for not to mention being overpriced even for a holiday weekend.

Had a great weekend at the KOA the staff is very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed with the pool, we arrived Thursday, went to the pool Friday & Saturday and it was very dirty with yard debris and it wasn't because of the rain storm because the same bandaid was in the same area both days The new cabins are great.

I want to give kudos to Heidi and the shanty star in the food in Sierra in the general store and the three ladies at the front counter, especially Carson, who always remembers the animals and let's go broke with all the treats that she buys.although everyone here is excellent caring and like familythose fouryoung ladies have stood out some of the most patient, friendly and lovable

KOA Okeechobee turned our Fourth of July weekend into a real adventure. The activities were family oriented and had that small town holiday feeling that makes you settle in right away. We met local folks who were friendly and fun to talk to and the whole place felt welcoming from start to finish. The activity team kept everything running smoothly and made the weekend feel special. We helped carry in the watermelons for the assistant activity director and she recognized us throughout the rest of our stay, which added a fun personal touch. The maintenance staff deserves a huge shoutout. Our refrigerator tried to quit on a holiday weekend but the team went after it with real determination. They tested it, coaxed it, and out stubborned it until it started working again. Watching them win that battle was its own entertainment. The front desk team is a big part of why we keep coming back. They are kind, patient, and always make you feel like you are part of the KOA family the moment you walk in. The grounds were clean, the pool was sparkling, and the whole resort had an easygoing, friendly vibe. KOA Okeechobee gets five stars from us and we will absolutely be back.
