Terrific place it’s clean, quiet, convenient to lake O, grocery stores and the flea market. The shanty is fun and the staff is wonderful. We have stayed 5 times in the past few years and we will definitely stay again.

Staff very nice and professional. clean park and well taking care of. I was disappointed that there was no garbage pick-up in the morning. The dumpsters we did not see nearby. KOA always have garbage pickup and if there was a good reason it should be corrected or get more dumpsters near all the RVs. I still liked it. but left the garbage bag in my RV until I got home.

Courteous and professional staff. Grounds are immaculate. Guests services and activities are top notch. Cabin very clean. Cabin did not have WiFi or internet because of recent storm. No discount was given. Toilet kept running. Refrigerator froze the food. Kitchen sink needs a high neck faucet. No recycling.

We think of Okeechobee KOA as home away from home. Actually we enjoy our KOA stay even more.

My husband and I come to the Okeechobee KOA every Labor Day for the past 10 years. We enjoy the music at the pool (what used to be the adult pool). We also enjoy the activities around the campground, the flea market, dining and shopping. It is a little sad to see the decline in the campers. It used to be packed and lot going on :)

We had a fabulous time. Everyone was very friendly and the grounds were beautiful and well kept. The pool was clean and refreshing. The live music by the pool was great especially The Boho Cowboy. We enjoyed The Shanty nice place to sit have a drink and relax. Overall our time spent at KOA Okeechobee was fabulous and we will go again.

Muito bom o tempo que passamos juntos com família e amigos, a única coisa que poderia melhorar mais ainda, seria aumentar o espaço para as barracas, que achei um pouco apertado, mais tirando isso foi maravilhoso, os banheiros bem limpos. E a piscina também estava maravilhosa.

The welcome we received was like walking in the door of family. The cabin was very clean. The ac and fridge were already running it had been a very long day. Customer service and office are top notch. Ground and housekeeping very friendly and helpful.

We are newbies to the koa's but this was definitely the nicest Campground that we've been to. The golf course is in pretty good condition. Lots of activities. Fun three-day weekend.

Clean facilities, friendly staff. Not much to do, no game room open as advertised. A little pricey for lack of activities. Was told cabins were sold out when I tried to modify my reservation, during stay cabins were all completely empty.

We had a great weekend. We played pickleball on the nice courts. Played 18 holes of golf on your very well maintained golf course. The course Marshall, Randy, was very personable and checked in with us several times to make sure we had a great day on the golf course. We had lunch at the Snack Shack - it was delicious! And enjoyed the pool! All very clean and well kept!

Slab broken and unlevel Sewer cap was painted closed had Very hard time getting it open Bathroom stalls VERY small VERY shard to use No Handicap stalls in bathroom

I am just upset that so many things were unavailable. I have two small children and there were no enjoyable things there for them. The pool is outdated and the mini pit was all uneven ground causing my little daughter to keep tripping. The game room was closed for remodel which we were told before booking and the restaurant was closed. And the kids park was closed. A refund would be nice.

Unfortunately, there were power issues during our recent stay that were not resolved. Also, I have found in most campgrounds garbage pick up is a standard. It is disappointing that pick up service has been terminated.

This stay was as good if not better than the last eight years we have stayed. We were very impressed with the upgrades and improvements on the cabin we have stayed in the last two years. Looking forward to next years stay.

We stayed in one of the new park model units and it was very nice. One recommendation is to have somewhere to hang bath towels, like hooks or a towel bar because there is no where to hang them up.

Had a great weekend at the KOA the staff is very friendly and helpful. Was disappointed with the pool, we arrived Thursday, went to the pool Friday & Saturday and it was very dirty with yard debris and it wasn't because of the rain storm because the same bandaid was in the same area both days The new cabins are great.

I want to give kudos to Heidi and the shanty star in the food in Sierra in the general store and the three ladies at the front counter, especially Carson, who always remembers the animals and let's go broke with all the treats that she buys.although everyone here is excellent caring and like familythose fouryoung ladies have stood out some of the most patient, friendly and lovable

KOA Okeechobee turned our Fourth of July weekend into a real adventure. The activities were family oriented and had that small town holiday feeling that makes you settle in right away. We met local folks who were friendly and fun to talk to and the whole place felt welcoming from start to finish. The activity team kept everything running smoothly and made the weekend feel special. We helped carry in the watermelons for the assistant activity director and she recognized us throughout the rest of our stay, which added a fun personal touch. The maintenance staff deserves a huge shoutout. Our refrigerator tried to quit on a holiday weekend but the team went after it with real determination. They tested it, coaxed it, and out stubborned it until it started working again. Watching them win that battle was its own entertainment. The front desk team is a big part of why we keep coming back. They are kind, patient, and always make you feel like you are part of the KOA family the moment you walk in. The grounds were clean, the pool was sparkling, and the whole resort had an easygoing, friendly vibe. KOA Okeechobee gets five stars from us and we will absolutely be back.
