Oh my gosh...year 2...even better than year 1!! Can't wait to see what year 3 will bring! Thank you all for being so wonderful to Willy and I . The addition of the pool this year was extremely awesome! We enjoy relaxing with a delicious meal from the food trailer!! You all are just fabulous!! Keep up the good work! See you in 2024

I had notes in my reservation that I would be late. They had my reservation tucked just where they said it would be and met me with a golf cart to show me the way to my campsite! So helpful and welcoming! It was quiet and has an incredible dog park too.

We changed our initial plans after visiting the campsite for a few days and ended staying a week. And it did not disappoint. Your staff is phenomenal from bubbles to the man who drives the fire truck ; came by and checked on us and made us feel like we’re family ! The staff in the office was amazing also! Honestly such a great feeling and the fact that everything is so close was cherry on top !!

This Kia location was very well managed and taken care of. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and there were tons of great perks, like the free shuttle to the beaches, the pool, the snack bar, ice delivered to your site... We were camping in a tent, however, and used to quiet, more private sites, so the large open Koa site and the constant music by the pool weren’t really our style.

First time at this KOA and was a great experience! Everyone who works in the store is amazing! Golf cart rental was great option and definitely recommend for fun. Will return next year!

We had a very nice stay. We were there for 7 nights. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Complimemtary Shuttle to the beach and beach pass are a big plus. New pool is awesome. Campground is small and quiet. Tent sites are a good size. Showers could be cleaned a bit more often. �

We had a wonderful time Glamping!! All the staff were kind and helpful. The kids enjoyed the wagon and fire truck rides, brand new pool and coin hunt! So close to the beaches..shuttles..perfect place to stay. We will definitely stay again!

This place should not be linked with KAO. They are rude, racist and very disrespectful. We will never be back! This is full of RVs of people who seem to live here. Someone tried to steal from our site and was hiding outside 2 teenage girls tent in the night until they got caught and then started cursing at us. When we complained at the office in the morning, they said there is nothing they can do

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I am sorry to see this is the route you took after having been asked to follow our campground rules and respect other campers while keeping security up until 3 AM dealing with noise issues. Thank you for deciding to never come back.

The Deluxe sites were excellent in size and amenities. Lots of activities for the kids. Also very safe and everything was wishing easy access. The restrooms were always clean and looked new. Pool was still not ready for use but that gives us a reason to return very soon. Ashley and Michael were great! Niantic KOA will see us very soon.

The bathrooms were disgusting. The employees were rude. My husband & I both felt very uncomfortable staying there with our kids as we felt like we were being watched. We ended up leaving after the first night. I was very disappointed with this KOA.

Very nice campsites - most are shaded! I have 2 complaints: 1) Before booking I called and was told (rather rudely) the pool would be completed by July 1st. It was not completed by the end of our stay (July 9th). 2) While I certainly appreciate all the activities (especially for kids) the price is very high for camping, even in this region.

My wife and I stayed in a rustic camp site. Gloria was awesome during booking and checking on arrival. Bob and the rest of the crew were great with any questions or requests bringing ice and firewood very quickly when requested. All the campers and employees were very friendly and approachable. Great spot to stay and the town of East Lyme boardwalk and beached are very clean.

The staff was so friendly and made a wonderful, fun experience for myself and my kids. They enjoyed the hayride, mini golf, and finding coins all throughout the campground to earn a prize. The bathrooms were extremely nice. Unfortunately, the pool was still being built when we visited, but it looks like a really nice pool. We had a great time. I definitely recommend.

We booked this trip very last minute and it was a perfect fall weekend ( last weekend open for the campground) . It was quiet but peaceful. We took the shuttle to downtown Niantic on Saturday and walked the boardwalk, went downtown and shopped/had lunch. The person who shuttled us was very nice and helpful. The bathrooms/ showers were clean . We would definitely come back here again!

Campground was a mess. Staff wasn’t on the same page at check-in or when we called with questions before arriving. Wasn’t safe for our kids. Massive holes in the ground and playground was broken. Metal everywhere. And very close to the road/hwy. was very disappointed and left early.

We had rowdy neighbors, but the staff at Niantic swiftly and professionally delt with them. They were all very apologetic and went above and beyond to make up for it. Afterwards, the campground had a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, there were a lot of fun activities, the decorations were very festive, and the bathrooms were some of the nicest I've ever seen in a campground.

Our family had a fantastic time during our stay at KOA Niantic. The staff was very friendly! The activities available for families were loads of fun! We especially enjoyed doing Arts & Crafts with Karen. We painted rocks and Sea Shells! Kids also loved making tie dye t-shirts! It was our 1st time here and we totally loved it!!!! Can't wait to return next year! Great way to end the summer!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like family. The people who run campground and the employees were fabulous. Bob, John , Ashley and Karen the activity director were all 5 star and totally committed to making sure we had the best time. Our site was beautiful and the restrooms sparkled. Thank you all for taking such phenomenal care of Willy & I. We will definately be back!

The area was beautiful and the tent site was great for our needs! We enjoyed making a fire and biking to the beach. The staff was very kind and helpful!! The reason I rated this stay lower was due to the restrooms. They were very gross and unkempt. The shower curtains smelled like B.O and the rest of the bathroom was pungent with bleach.

Great place to camp using tents, fun for adults and kids. Staff was very friendly and escorted us to our spot via golf cart. They deliver ice to us too. Icecream social on Saturday night was a great 2 dollars. No pool 78 dollars to camp one night was kinda high, but we'll worth it. Bathrooms were very clean. Dennis

Campground was amazing. There was so much for the kids to do at campground and in the surrounding area. The facility were very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpfull. I will definitely be coming back here!

Very friendly and helpful in the store very nice people. There are plenty of new people to meet and to be around. Theres plenty of walking room to enjoy a nice long walk with your friends and your family. Its a very dog friendly place along with the other pets you may have.

We had a great time at this little campground. Plenty of activities (tie dye, arts and crafts, treasure hunts , wagon/fire truck rides), etc) for kids (we had four, ranging in age from 6 to 9), is centrally located and has awesome staff. Shuttles to downtown and beaches are offered. Real restroom facilities/showers. Definitely needs some sprucing up but we would definitely return!
