Great KOA. Location is very nice. Close to everything and close to beach. People were very helpful and pleasant.

The NIANTIC KOA is a great location from I-95, NIANTIC'S restaurants and beaches. The negative is noise from the highway. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pull through site would have been less inviting had the adjoining sites filled. We have made reservations for next year at a newly created backin larger site.

fourth time we’ve camped here. very quiet and reasonably clean campground. half mile from beautiful public beach at rocky neck state park. parking fee $22 is unreasonable so walk in for free. three miles from public boat launch and numerous excellent seafood restaurants.

We had a great time all the staff were super nice! The lady doing the arts and crafts was awesome for rock painting and tye dye!! Clean facilities and there were tons of fun things to do like wagon rides and mini golf! We are really looking forward to coming back!

Had a great time, staff was very friendly and helpful. Took advantage of the campground shuttle service and so glad we did. John was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a pleasant experience.

Very nice campground. They take excellent care and very friendly. We loved the way our site was all set up for us with hoses and cables. Hope they get the pool in for next time. Loved the life size chess and checkers. , Also the comfy wooden swing. The owners really take care and pride.

We stayed one night and got outstanding. Arriving late, staff showed us our campsite; the next morning they solved a water problem. Before leaving John filled our propane tank but our tank valve was stuck open threatening a dangerous leak of the explosive gas. Camp staff went into action, calling the Fire Department, and calling a propane tech who stopped the leak--no charge! Hats off to KOA!

Very friendly staff. There is a nice nature trail on the property and across the road there is access to the Rocky Neck State Park. We did not use the bathrooms.

Stayed two nights. cable and WIFI were good. No black hook up at site...which is ok for a two night stay. Very convenient to I-95. Roads within the campground were very rough. Assigned site was plenty long enough for my 34' fifth wheel. Relatively short drive to Mystic and Newport sites for day-trip activities.

The team goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is a care free as possible. So pleasant and helpful with anything you may need. Lots of improvements happening. Location is amazing as well.

Nice camp - sites were ample and landscaping was nice ( swings and fire pit) very picturesque. Bathrooms were clean but could use an update. Roads were a bit of a washboard. I understand it’s a work in progress. Hope they put campers needs before additional revenue.

We’ve been camping here for the last few years and it’s great. They are constantly improving the place and it’s a nice quiet, clean campground for everyone.

The biggest selling point of the location is the staff. They are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The physical plant is a bit raggedy, and thankfully when I found out that we were to be in the very site with which I had previously expressed strong dissatisfaction (#29), we were switched to a far better spot. That is the reason why we will continue to patronize this location.

Nice location, Staff is superb in all ways, very helpful and fun, Water pressure was an issue as it it 30-40 lbs best, we were only one night, they have gray water hook up only, first time I experienced, dump station onsite Free shuttle to town and beaches.

Very east to get to off 95. We really liked this KOA. We got escorted to our site. An older campground, but quite level and nicely shaded. Quiet as well. And even though we do not have young children, it was really nice to see the kids driven thru the campground on the wagon, but more so on the firetruck. That had to be a great time for the kids. Nicely done.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. However, we were chased down and reprimanded about driving 10 mph. A friendly reminder was in order. Instead, we were scolded as if we were children. After apologizing, we were yelled at one more time "5 MILES PER HOUR" as we slowly drove away. This woman worked in the office. Having the black tank emptied is a perk, but there was no communication that it was done.

Our stay was excellent The staff at this park were all awesome had to change days and very accommodating. Codes our reservation for free stay weekend and Bob was just a joy We made friends with out neighbor. Another great KOA stay

Usually stay once a year. Very friendly & outgoing staff. Over the years we have gotten to know several staff members by name. They will stop by our site & ask if we need anything. Only issue, no sewer at sites, makes for a slow line leaving on Sunday AM as everyone stops at the dump site before hitting the road

Great Campground lots of activities for the kids to do. They have a shuttle bus that will take you to the local beaches.

Everyone in office and around campground was very welcoming and helpful. We especially appreciated the guys on the golf carts who are always there when you need them. Individual rooms in new shower house especially nice— clean and private. Appreciated firewood delivery to site. Campsites were roomy and well shaded. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Sites were reasonable size. Would give 5 stars for the facilities except for lack of sewer hookup. Long lines at dump station on Suday departure. Kids loved hunt for coins they could trade for candy. Amenities were tops. Great location convenient to area attractions. We traveled with three other families, and everyone had a great time.

This campground has a great location, very close to Beaches. There's a fairly decent network of bike/hiking trails across the street.

Not as nice as KOA Mystic. Rest Rooms/Showers need better maintenance. Not as clean as other camps we've visited recently and soap dispenser empty.

We were very pleased with our visit to the Niantic/I-95 Exit 72 KOA. It was in a good location to get to most attraction in the area. It was very easy to get to from 95. The campground was in nice shape, clean bathrooms, clean campground. Very nice people running the campground, especially John. I don't know his last name but he was great. He was running everywhere getting things taken care of.

The space assigned to us was terrible. It was too short for the length of our trailer and truck, the utilities were too far away and necessitated extensions.

As always a very pleasant stay. The campground is quiet and clean and they are looking forward to installing a pool. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We especially love Bubbles. We have been staying there for the past 3 years for our anniversary weekend and we plan on being there in Aug of 2023 Luisa & Gary Gladu

It was a quiet, mid-week stay. The campground is "well-loved" but not dirty or unkempt. Didn't really have any interaction with the staff other than check in.

We love how engaged the owners and staff are with the kids, from wagon, and fire truck rides. To bounce house's yes multiple house's and coin collecting for prizes. The shuttle ride to the beach makes this campground a easy choice

Campground was amazing. There was so much for the kids to do at campground and in the surrounding area. The facility were very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpfull. I will definitely be coming back here!

Very friendly and helpful in the store very nice people. There are plenty of new people to meet and to be around. Theres plenty of walking room to enjoy a nice long walk with your friends and your family. Its a very dog friendly place along with the other pets you may have.

We had a great time at this little campground. Plenty of activities (tie dye, arts and crafts, treasure hunts , wagon/fire truck rides), etc) for kids (we had four, ranging in age from 6 to 9), is centrally located and has awesome staff. Shuttles to downtown and beaches are offered. Real restroom facilities/showers. Definitely needs some sprucing up but we would definitely return!
