We have always enjoyed our stays at the Niantic KOA. We have loved seeing how the facility has grown and changed over the years. Even as young adults and teens our children still enjoy it here!

Well spaced sites , and well laid out making it easy to park and set up. Beautiful swimming pool. Shuttle into Niantic was perfect. And state park trails across the road were nice.

Had a grand time with family and grandkids. Pool was a fabulous respite from the heat. Can’t beat the location.

A very nice campground. Pretty with trees throughout. It was quiet and relaxing. Had a do pool party and they drop coins for the kids to find and turn in for treats, which keeps everyone busy! The staff was friendly and helpful. Not many full hook up sites, and a bunch of seasonal sites which were well kept and the people were friendly. They had a playground and a few games and such for the kids.

Incredible as always. Even with the bad storms coming through everyone was so helpful and kind. This was a great place to be for our 250th anniversary Of America. I highly recommend this campground.

Very disappointed with the place bathroom were dirty from day 1 took them 2 days to clean up a lot of old campers abandoned plus some people have chickens running around like is a farm or a zoo and on top of that some other camper fro across my site plug their power into to my site without any communication with me !We left a full day in advance I would never visit Niantic KOA again.

Niantic KOA is our happy place for sure. We see something new as you are always updating and making the campground shine. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Grounds are kept very clean and the pool area is amazing. The cabanas that can be rented for the day was a great touch. If you want to "camp out" by the pool that is the way to go. We loved our stay & we can't wait for our next one.

We have stayed at Niantic / I-95 Exit 72 KOA Holiday twice this summer (June and July), and both visits were excellent.Considering the campground is operated by a very small full-time staff, they do a tremendous job maintaining the property and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff members were friendly, personable, and willing to help. On perk is the variety of engaging activities for kids!

We stayed on a 30 Amp "spacious" site. Site was very small and only had a grey water dump which ran out onto the ground and smelled at times. Also wasn't happy that on top of the expensive price per night, they charged an additional $20 for a guest even if the guest only wanted to visit for a few hours during the day. Outside of this, the campground was clean and the staff competent.

Stayed for 3 nights in an RV. It was over the 4th holiday so was very busy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a large park with many things to do, especially the kids.

Stayed in site 141, KOA patio, site is brand new! So nice! Campground is well kept, all staff friendly, the resort style pool kept my nephew entertained for hours on end, plenty of amenities. Bathrooms clean. Little food trailer on site for the weekend tasty. Camp store well stocked. Nice place close to home for quick getaways! Will be back !

Wonderful experience. Campground is located right off I95 but far enough to not be impacted by traffic noise. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. I was guided to my site and staff assisted with directions for backing in my travel trailer. The general store is well stocked. Delivery of firewood and ice to my site was super fast! Lots of activities for children. Truly a very fun time.

We had such a great time at this KOA. Really nice & helpful staff. Tons of things to do for kids. Only minutes from downtown, the boardwalks & the state park. Oh & the waffles during the week were so yummy! Would definitely stay again if in the area.

It's the campground that when you arrive, you can't wait to leave. Woman in the office was nice and helpful but the breakfast pastries were still sitting out - we arrived mid-afternoon. The bathroom garbage had not been emptied for quite some time. There were employees on dirty campground golf carts staring at their phones doing nothing. The pool was very nice-looked new. Grill at site was gross.

The staff was especially friendly and welcoming! They led us to our site, which was a level spot in the shade. We didn't have a sewer connection, but the black water pump station was easy to use as we were leaving. The Niantic KOA is in a great location near Mystic. The campground was quiet and clean.

Nice clean campground. Not really many things to do, we planned to have our 5 grand children and their parents visit. The 10.00 per person fee is high, especially since this campground is not very big. Not being able to dump black water at the campsite is big for us. We don't tow a vehicle, any stay longer than 3 days will fill the tank requiring we unhook and re-hook up connections.

Beautiful campgrounds, great staff, nice amenities. Close to I 95 but amazingly quietLoved that it's so close to several beaches. So many things to see and do within a short distance.

Relaxing stay at a well kept campground with lots of fun, amenities, and activities for the kids and adults. The staff are very busy attending to their guests. I have been to this campground several times and hope to be back for more!

Niantic-KOA never Fails us! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The pool is such a great gathering point for all. It is so relaxing hearing the joyful laughing and playing of all the kids having the best time ever. And who can resist their Saturday Doughboy! There is always something fun to do for the kids and adults or just sit by the frire and relax and recharge. Thank you Niantic-KOA

We have come once a summer for four years. It was 5 star four years ago, and somehow Niantic keeps improving every year getting better each time. From big things like the pool a few years back, to little things like a more well organized and updated dump system this year. Well maintained, and friendly staff. Secret weekend gem with the Rockyneck beach around the corner. Always a great stay!

great shade covered spots. quiet campground at night, no shortage of amenities anyone could want while camping. Everyone (employees) was super friendly and helpful.

Showers were NASTY. MILDEW all over shower curtains, shower stalls decrepit and showing wear spots, toilet stalls cramped and no handicapped stalls. Grounds were nice, well-maintained so it was surprising to see bathrooms and showers in such deplorable conditions. A non-return for me.

Stayed 6/5-7; site 142. Since I primarily rate my stays based on my site, the stay was fine. Staff were helpful, and the location was good for our purposes. The grounds could use some TLC and I didn't like the dirty grill at the site. I do appreciate you having recycling at the campground. Overall the visit was good.

We always have an amazing time. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I was shocked when we requested the shuttle it picked us up at our campsite. I love this place.

The staff here is unbelievably welcoming and helpful. We have camped all over the USA, this is by far the best staff. This is our 2nd year. We'll be back.

This KOA is amazing. Very clean, family oriented. It has the best vibes in a great location. I try to stop here everytime we travel the coast. One of our favorite.

We stayed at Niantic KOA for five nights. It's very peaceful here. We sat out by our fire every night. Our space was large and included a fire pit, swing, table, chairs, and a wonderful bbq/grill. I used the camp-provided showers. They were clean and each room had a private shower, toilet, and sink. A wonderful bonus, each morning the camp provided breakfast, fresh waffles, fruit, baked goods and more. There are great beaches to visit. A short drive will take you to Mystic, CT. If you're up for a longer drive, Neport, Rhode Island is worth the trip. Enjoy your time at the Niantic KOA where the staff is friendly and helpful, and the trees are beautiful.

Easy access off freeway, but no road noise. campsites were a little close together, not separated by trees but not as close together as some places I've seen. Overall very pretty and well kept. Bath house offered private toilet/ sink/ shower setup with a bench and hooks for miscellaneous, very clean and well kept. There is even a separate dog washing station! I also saw a laundry building although I didn't go in. Lots of other amenities seen but not used as we were only there for one night. People, kids, and dogs were all well-behaved. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I def recommend.
