Staffer driving around in golf kart was surly, bossy, challenging and not helpful not only with us but with other campers as well.

Please get the pool installed. The beach is much too crowded. The work campers were great! Sites were good. Near site 17 there is a berm filled with rocks that needs to be angled off so cars, trucks and campers do not hit it. It's a right turn there.

Had requested a certain site from previous stay but was changed to a different site and not notified until we arrived. We wanted to be close to bathroom so would have liked to be notified

Clean restrooms and campground. Well-run and personable staff. Quiet at night - which is surprising given the larger number of campers. I really appreciate that staff cruise around in golf carts to make sure things are well. Liked that they escorted us into the site and made sure we knew about the accommodations. Great place for a weekend get-away. Will plan to book in the future.

I rented a site for my daughter to attend her mom's funeral. The people were accommodating, as we had several guests needing to simply stop by but not stay. Same for myself. I needed to stop every day to help them understand things with the coach. My granddaughter loved the fire truck and the coin tosses. On leaving I was provided assistance to empty my black water, even in the pouring rain.

This campground has made so many upgrades to the sites, restrooms and store. Can’t wait for the pool to be built. The staff here is always amazing and are willing to help in any way.

We had a short two nights here but we enjoyed the camground. We had some great pizza at Crown Pizza which was not to far away. We also went to the Gillette Castle State Park. So very interesting getting the employees to explain all about it.

Loved the new sites in the back…staff were awesome. Beyond friendly and helpful!! Only thing we missed was a pool.

The location of the KOA is great since it’s nice and close to the CT beaches. The campground can use some work on its appearance and landscaping. Also, since there isn’t full hook up for black water sewage, we went to the dump provided at the campground and got stuck in the line. There should be 2 lanes to get around when someone else is dumping in front of you and you need to get by them.

It was an overnight stay and we had everything we needed and the recommended The Tire Store right in East Lyme that got us in right away (after we blew a tire on the trailer). Thanks for the visit!

The staff were excellent. Super friendly and helpful. The main drawback and reason for the low rating were the lack of paved roads within the campground. Makes for a very dusty stay.

I understand that your park is under construction but how can you charge over $90 for a “premium” site AND not have a sewer!!!! Yes - you mentioned that in the fine print but that needs to be on a banner!! Also - no pool??? We have stayed in KOA’s all over the US and we would never come back here. Very disappointing

Interesting campground The graywater lines are an interesting perk. We needed a little education to keep it flowing. Nice to be able to take showers and wash hair when sewer hook-ups are not available. More campgrounds shoulld try this.

One night stay. Campground quite full. Only 3 bathrooms/showers and one handicap bathroom with a code for the door. The campground is undergoing renovation but it really was very inconvenient to have to wait so long to use the facilities.

Friendly and knowledgeable Office and store staff. New bathrooms are now open for use. Printed materials upon check in are very helpful for the day's activities. Great location close to many beaches

Highly recommend! Extremely nice staff and owner is hands on. Love the free shuttle to local beaches and charming seaside town of Niantic. Easy access on I95.

The staff and fellow campers at this KOA were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. The campground has a lot of planned activities for the kids and the amentities are great, including the beach passes that are available. Excited to see the pool go in.

Liked everything although there was no pool. Disappointed about the placement of the fire pits. We could use ours because the person they parked directly next to us after we arrived was worried that the fire might melt the side of their camper and was worried about any smoke going up into the air conditioner. We enjoyed our 5 day stay at this Koa. Bob was so helpful during our entire visit. The campsite is definitely under construction and I am excited to see the improvements. The new rear bathrooms were beautiful but were only cleaned once over the weekend. We did mention it to the owner/manager so I hope they take our suggestion regarding supervising the staff responsible for the bathroom!

First time camping at Niantic campground. Loved it. The staff super friendly and very helpful. All the fun activities for kids. I even went On a wagon ride with my fury kids the shuttle bus dropped me off at a town beach and came back to pick me with in 10mins. I am already planning to go back again. Super pleased with this campground

The camp sites are very spacious. The campground is run extremely well. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly attentive staff. It’s so peaceful and perfect place to stay and or leave yo go and explore the area. Our favorite place to go.

We had a wonderful time. We had one of the new site and it was really nice and clean. We loved the set up where the fire is away from the RV and our son had a blast riding the fire truck and the tractor, also he had a blast chasing the coints for camdy. Great kid friendly camping site the staff is very friendly we cant wait to go back. Hopefully the pool will be in by then. See you guys next year.

We loved our site! It was nicely shaded and was spaced out far apart from the other campers. Atmosphere was so nice and serene, which was very important to me because we’ve stayed at other campgrounds near beaches in the past that were FILLED with loud partiers. Bathrooms and showers were huge, private and super clean; my kids loved them. They also loved the outdoor games. Everyone was so nice!!

The best part was the hospitality of the staff. We cannot say enough good things about them. The camp is at a good location and there shuttle service is amazing. We used the shuttle and visited the state parks and beaches. We hiked in the Rock Neck State Park which is just across the KOA. The only negatives are that there were too many campers around and they do not have a swimming pool.

Very nice site. Staff was very nice and cordial. As with most sites we stayed in the northeast the black water connectors have not been updated but the concrete block I carry helped remedy this problem. Other than that minor issue this is a great place and they offer free shuttle into town and provide you with a number to call for free pickup and deliver back to the campsite. Highly recommend th

We stayed at Niantic to see our grandson sworn in as a new USCGA Cadet. Your campground is lovely. We especially liked Bob and Bubbles, they are great camp hosts, always ready to lend a hand if needed. Will be staying here again.

Very friendly. It is a work in progress to bring it up to KOA standards. FREE Shuttle to town is nice amenity.

Campground was amazing. There was so much for the kids to do at campground and in the surrounding area. The facility were very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpfull. I will definitely be coming back here!

Very friendly and helpful in the store very nice people. There are plenty of new people to meet and to be around. Theres plenty of walking room to enjoy a nice long walk with your friends and your family. Its a very dog friendly place along with the other pets you may have.

We had a great time at this little campground. Plenty of activities (tie dye, arts and crafts, treasure hunts , wagon/fire truck rides), etc) for kids (we had four, ranging in age from 6 to 9), is centrally located and has awesome staff. Shuttles to downtown and beaches are offered. Real restroom facilities/showers. Definitely needs some sprucing up but we would definitely return!
