Stayed in site 141, KOA patio, site is brand new! So nice! Campground is well kept, all staff friendly, the resort style pool kept my nephew entertained for hours on end, plenty of amenities. Bathrooms clean. Little food trailer on site for the weekend tasty. Camp store well stocked. Nice place close to home for quick getaways! Will be back !

Wonderful experience. Campground is located right off I95 but far enough to not be impacted by traffic noise. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. I was guided to my site and staff assisted with directions for backing in my travel trailer. The general store is well stocked. Delivery of firewood and ice to my site was super fast! Lots of activities for children. Truly a very fun time.

We had such a great time at this KOA. Really nice & helpful staff. Tons of things to do for kids. Only minutes from downtown, the boardwalks & the state park. Oh & the waffles during the week were so yummy! Would definitely stay again if in the area.

It's the campground that when you arrive, you can't wait to leave. Woman in the office was nice and helpful but the breakfast pastries were still sitting out - we arrived mid-afternoon. The bathroom garbage had not been emptied for quite some time. There were employees on dirty campground golf carts staring at their phones doing nothing. The pool was very nice-looked new. Grill at site was gross.

The staff was especially friendly and welcoming! They led us to our site, which was a level spot in the shade. We didn't have a sewer connection, but the black water pump station was easy to use as we were leaving. The Niantic KOA is in a great location near Mystic. The campground was quiet and clean.

Nice clean campground. Not really many things to do, we planned to have our 5 grand children and their parents visit. The 10.00 per person fee is high, especially since this campground is not very big. Not being able to dump black water at the campsite is big for us. We don't tow a vehicle, any stay longer than 3 days will fill the tank requiring we unhook and re-hook up connections.

Beautiful campgrounds, great staff, nice amenities. Close to I 95 but amazingly quietLoved that it's so close to several beaches. So many things to see and do within a short distance.

Relaxing stay at a well kept campground with lots of fun, amenities, and activities for the kids and adults. The staff are very busy attending to their guests. I have been to this campground several times and hope to be back for more!

We love this campground! Its clean and well kept. The pool is very nice. Plenty of things to do. The shuttle to the beach is a huge plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Niantic-KOA never Fails us! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The pool is such a great gathering point for all. It is so relaxing hearing the joyful laughing and playing of all the kids having the best time ever. And who can resist their Saturday Doughboy! There is always something fun to do for the kids and adults or just sit by the frire and relax and recharge. Thank you Niantic-KOA

We have come once a summer for four years. It was 5 star four years ago, and somehow Niantic keeps improving every year getting better each time. From big things like the pool a few years back, to little things like a more well organized and updated dump system this year. Well maintained, and friendly staff. Secret weekend gem with the Rockyneck beach around the corner. Always a great stay!

great shade covered spots. quiet campground at night, no shortage of amenities anyone could want while camping. Everyone (employees) was super friendly and helpful.

Showers were NASTY. MILDEW all over shower curtains, shower stalls decrepit and showing wear spots, toilet stalls cramped and no handicapped stalls. Grounds were nice, well-maintained so it was surprising to see bathrooms and showers in such deplorable conditions. A non-return for me.

Stayed 6/5-7; site 142. Since I primarily rate my stays based on my site, the stay was fine. Staff were helpful, and the location was good for our purposes. The grounds could use some TLC and I didn't like the dirty grill at the site. I do appreciate you having recycling at the campground. Overall the visit was good.

We always have an amazing time. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I was shocked when we requested the shuttle it picked us up at our campsite. I love this place.

The staff here is unbelievably welcoming and helpful. We have camped all over the USA, this is by far the best staff. This is our 2nd year. We'll be back.

This is our 3rd year staying at KOA Niantic and every year we are so impressed with all the upgrades they keep adding to the campground! From customer service, to nice big sites, to extremely clean facilities, we always look forward to our stay at KOA Niantic! Great staff, very friendly and helpful makes our stay very enjoyable!

My stay at the Niantic KOA was excellent. Very friendly staff, and lots of activities planned throughout the weekend. My one disappointment was the Sensible Weather insurance I purchased for this stay. The weather was not great all weekend; it rained half the day Saturday and all day Sunday. Sensible Weather only reimbursed me for a partial amount (less than half my nightly rate) on Sunday.

Had a wonderful stay. Everyone is so friendly and very helpful. Even though it was a rainy weekend, it was still peaceful and serene. I highly recommend this KOA and plan to spend much more time here.

Quiet and peaceful. Clean with a wonderful heated pool. Great Continental breakfast with Make your own waffles. Friendly staff, very helpful. Close to many attractions and small beaches.

My husband stayed 6 weeks for work. We arrived before they officially opened and it was seamless getting our site and setting up. The people were very nice and helpful and even opened the bathroom building early. Very nice location- Recommend !!

Overall, it’s a great location. My family and I enjoyed it. The only thing is that the Wi-Fi is not good so that’s why I’m not going to give five stars. With it being over $100 per night and needing to get a 5G router or use hotspot doesn’t sit right with me but overall great experience. They take pride in their campground the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are clean

We have stayed at Niantic / I-95 Exit 72 KOA Holiday twice this summer (June and July), and both visits were excellent. Considering the campground is operated by a very small full-time staff, they do a tremendous job maintaining the property and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff members are always friendly, personable, and willing to help. One of the highlights is the variety of engaging activities offered for children and families. There is always something to do, making it a great destination for families looking to stay active and entertained. The pool is large and provides plenty of room for guests to enjoy. Seating and umbrellas can be limited during peak times, but we were still able to enjoy the space. The campsites where we stayed were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Another great perk is the courtesy shuttle service to the beach, which makes local attractions even more accessible. Overall, we had two wonderful stays and would absolutely recommend Niantic / I-95 Exit 72 KOA Holiday to anyone looking for a family-friendly campground with great amenities, clean sites, and a welcoming staff.

This is a great campsite, in a very pretty location and near lots of great beaches/town of East Lyme. On site staff is super helpful and kind. The food, lodging and amenities were also A++. My kids spent hours at the pool and there was no shortage of cool activities available. Highly recommend for a summer stay.

Great stay! We enjoyed the pool and free shuttle service to downtown, 3 beaches. They also give free parking voucher for 3 beaches. Every staff is very friendly and knowledgable! Convenient stay right off 95. Definitely would recommend and stay again.
