Campground was quiet and clean. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Even passing staff always smiled and waived. Our kids loved the pool and all the daily activities, especially the fire truck rides and coin hunts! We were impressed with the daily event schedule, though it was after Labor Day; most other campgrounds had started to discontinue amenities and activities this time of year.

Stayed 2 nights 9/05/25 to 9/07/25.Site was gravel pull through water,50 amp with gray water dump.Staff is everywhere and super friendly.Pool area is one of the nicest around,heated with plenty of tables,loungers and umbrellas..Nice 9 hole mini golf

My first time camping in Niantic and staying at a KOA. I can not say enough good things about this family run campground. We checked in and immediately given information regarding the park facilities and its many offerings, and escorted to our site! We enjoyed the free ride to Niantic, free waffle breakfast and more! They ALL were friendly and eager to make things perfect! We will return!

The pool was great. We loved how spacious our site was, but it lacked privacy and was far from the bathrooms. The other sites were very close together. My kids loved the coin hunt. That was a big hit.

The campground is centrally located for many local attractions in Niantic, New London, and Mystic. We were never more than 25 minutes away from beaches, museums, and small towns. The campground was very clean and sites well spaced and laid out. It was family oriented and quiet once the sun went down. The pool and patio area was clean and well kept.

KOA Niantic was amazing. They think of everything here. Tons of amenities and activities. The facilities are clean and well-kept. Staff are all super friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. The grounds are well-kept. Highly recommend and we will be back.

So we stayed in a new section for back in RVs. It was very nice, clean. The pool is lovely. Only thing I wish they would change is paving the roads throughout the campground. And I would say the Office needs some renovations. Staff was extremely nice. Good location.

Bathrooms were not cleaned once during our stay. There was mold on the walls, floor and curtains— disgusting curtains—especially in handicap bathroom. We were told passes for the beach were all taken one day. The next day we were told if we came back late with the pass we would be charged $200 (what?). The lady in charge at the office was super rude. Disrespectful attitude. Would not go back.

We were in the deluxe sites down in the circle. End of season but they could be a little more cleaned up with weeds in the patio and barely any water in the water feature that also had trash in it. Transportation to restaurants is always superb and very app.eciated. Staff is always very nice there!

This was the final stop of our 2 month RV tour and a great stop it was! The grounds, pool and bathrooms were very clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and nice, great hiking trails across the road, and the shuttle to downtown made our last week relaxing and care free. We’ll definitely stay here again!

This campground is incredibly family-friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of scheduled activities for kids, and the little touches made our stay so special. Our site had huge char-broil grills, wood delivery right to your spot, and outdoor patio furniture with four comfy swivel chairs. My favorite part was the swing by the campfire—I got to rock my 3-year-old to sleep by the fire every night

Incredible amenities, tons of activities on premise for the kids, the coin hunt was adorable and the kids loved it! close proximity to ice, liquor, beer, food. Cutest town and the courtesy shuttles are an incredible addition. Bathrooms were very clean.

We stayed at the Niantic KOA for the first time this July , and have since returned in August and for Labor Day weekend. The sites are nice , the staff is friendly and helpful and very accommodating. My kids love the beautiful pool as well as hunting for coins ! The location is super convenient for the local beaches and they even provide a pass to park ! We love it and will definitely return !

Campground is on point with everything except for the guest fees. $20 for a guest to stop in for a few hours is a little steep. For this reason, I didn't give them a perfect score.

We stayed Labor Day weekend 2025 with our kids. Everyone we encountered (employees/campers) were very friendly. There were plenty of activities for our kids (ages 4-13) to do and easy for our kids to ride around on bikes without having to worry about cars/traffic. Helpful staff with dumping/disposing of trash. Good bath houses/dish washing stations. Heater pool was a plus & beaches close by +++

we stayed for 14 days. Nice pool, quiet campground very helpful staff. The bathrooms/showers were clean, I liked the new shower set up in the lower showers everything was in one room for personal use. The arts and crafts could use a bit more organization, there was plenty for the kids to do, playground, mini golf, wagon and fire engine rides. We will return again next year.

We had a nice time. My nephew and his family came and visited with us on Sat. I am hopibg bext summer, they might rent a glam tent too. Next summer my daughter and i would like to return, but we would want our own glam tent. . Not sure if you can do something about all the bees! The website, showed a full menu for the food truck, needs updating

This KOA is amazing. Very clean, family oriented. It has the best vibes in a great location. I try to stop here everytime we travel the coast. One of our favorite.

We stayed at Niantic KOA for five nights. It's very peaceful here. We sat out by our fire every night. Our space was large and included a fire pit, swing, table, chairs, and a wonderful bbq/grill. I used the camp-provided showers. They were clean and each room had a private shower, toilet, and sink. A wonderful bonus, each morning the camp provided breakfast, fresh waffles, fruit, baked goods and more. There are great beaches to visit. A short drive will take you to Mystic, CT. If you're up for a longer drive, Neport, Rhode Island is worth the trip. Enjoy your time at the Niantic KOA where the staff is friendly and helpful, and the trees are beautiful.

Easy access off freeway, but no road noise. campsites were a little close together, not separated by trees but not as close together as some places I've seen. Overall very pretty and well kept. Bath house offered private toilet/ sink/ shower setup with a bench and hooks for miscellaneous, very clean and well kept. There is even a separate dog washing station! I also saw a laundry building although I didn't go in. Lots of other amenities seen but not used as we were only there for one night. People, kids, and dogs were all well-behaved. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I def recommend.
