everyone was so nice. loved having a shuttle. pool was great and very clean. bathrooms had shower stall in them as well. bathrooms were clean too. their campstore was pretty good as well. everytime i was missing just 1 thiing for cooking, they had it.

Love the staff, activities (especially the coins!), and the new pool area. I would suggest adding a clock to the pool area so it’s easier to keep track of time for when the activities start. I don’t want to keep pulling out my phone at the pool to check. We had a great time! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was our first time camping there this past weekend. There was so much for our family to do. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The entire campground was clean and organized. We liked it so much that we are considering becoming seasonals there.

First time at a KOA I am so glad me and my family was able to purchase this membership. Start with the club and went to this spot. It was wonderful. The people are so friendly literally almost you. Don’t even have to leave your particular campsite the guys come around they drop ice off to you, see if you need anything. Sevice is just unbelievable. The kindness that they have is just top-notch.

Loved the tall trees and activities that engaged kids. Bathrooms were clean . Roads need some improvements. May need more bathrooms. Lock on bathroom door should have an indicator to tell others it is occupied .

Campground is nice & we enjoy staying here. Bubba is overzealous yelling at people as they drive thru the campground. I witnessed several occasions of him yelling at drivers traveling at a very slow rate of speed & several occasions of employees driving golf carts at unnecessarily high rate of speed. The rear bath house is nice but the showers allow water to spread across the entire floor.

Such a beautiful campground. We had many friendly encounters with staff and guests. What made this location standout was 1) many nights a week, you can hop on their very own fire truck and take a spin around the park. 2) collecting pirate coins and tradng in for prizes, especially the elusive black coin. We collected 230, including the black coin. Great fun, and we're in our 60s!!!

All over all it was a really nice stay. �The bathroom could be a little bit cleaner.� Best thing is the shuttle to the beach.� I will come back on Labor Day weekend. Looking forward to it.

The campground was nice, though work was needed. The sites were a bit small given the cost. The wood and ice deliveries were convenient. Staff were very helpful. Equipment and unused vehicles were in plain sight. The cost was very high, so high I doubt we will return.

Extremely helpful staff. By the end of the month, they felt like family. I witnessed constant improvements everyday as they are refurbishing the entire campground. The kids loved the fire engine rides, hayrides, and coin hunts. Looking forward to next year already.

Very helpful staff from the moment we pulled in. Helped with cable issue, and always friendly wave and hello. Many upgrades in the works. Great location for coastal Connecticut activities. Nice pool, good size sites,good tv cable, and grey water hook up.Roads seem to be in process of much needed upgrading/resurfacing. Our 3dr time here, will stay again.

Staff is very accommodating. We had barking dogs the first night and the staff moved us to a much better site. There's a beautiful new swimming pool. And the beaches are hop skipping a jump away.

Arrived after dark, staff led me to my site. Facilities were clean, site was pretty level. Campsites are huge so you get plenty of space! Access was very simple, scraped my C various times going through the campground but it was gravel roads so not an issue. Dump site was hard to find, missed it and had to go back around. Overall a nice stop in a place you wouldn't expect a KOA!!

This is an old trailer park they are gradually making it a campground. Still some junky trailer there. Just ok. Ok for overnight but nothing else.

Upon arrival we were escorted to our site and they stayed with us until we had everything set up making sure we had everything we needed. Site 99 is very slopped, so they assisted with that. The washrooms are the nicest I’ve seen. The kids loved all the activities. The coin hunt everyday is the best idea. It kept the kids busy for hours! Great family owned campground. The courtesy shuttle(picks you up at your site) is a great thing for getting around and not have to deal with parking. Pool is excellent for all ages. Bathrooms are clean. Also, they escort you to your site. Kids love the fire truck rides. Security cameras also nice thing at a campground. Activities for all ages on the weekends is also fabulous !! Great find !!

I would have given this campground a 10 and 5 star rating on question one or two however on Saturday night just before dark I was walking to get my kids off of there bike with my dog when I watched one of the employees older man with a white beard screaming at my kids to get off there bikes it was not dark yet but getting close. I know the rules my kids were affraid to leave the site after this.

We stayed for a week. The pool is very clean, kept at a good temperature, loved the music at the pool too! The staff is awesome very friendly very accommodating. The kids loved finding the coins, the ride on the firetruck and the other activities. We loved the convenience of having the shuttle to go to Rocky neck Beach. I would recommend this campground to anyone we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed here several times the past 3 years. It's a favorite destination for us! The staff are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The new fancy sites have a full grill and smoker w propane. Location is minutes to the beach. It's 20 minutes to Mystic. Very family and pet friendly. The ongoing coin hunt is always a hit for everyone. The pool is also still open and 80 degrees in October. Can't wait to come back!

Looks like they had some great amenities in- season but it was wrapping up as we got there. An intersting mix of seasonal and regular campers. Some enhanced standards for the long term campers would help.
