We stayed in a Glamping Tent. Let’s just say this KOA was probably the best experience for the kids. The pool was probably the best pool and area of the trip. The tent was enormous and bathroom was clean and close. The staff would drop coins throughout the day in the park and the kids could collect and turn in for prizes. Staff was awesome!! This was day 11 & 12 of 20 KOA vacation

We absolutely loved our stay here! Our site was spacious with a good amount of tree coverage, yet still in walking distance from everything we needed. Our son loved hunting for coins on his bike every morning and the waffle station was the perfect touch. The pool was always warm and clean, and the beaches were so close. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait to return!

Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Shuttle was very nice to be able to use. Staff was very accommodating to move my site closer to my family and friends we camped with. Overall had a great time.

We had a wonderful stay at the Niantic KOA. There was plenty of activities to keep kids occupied for the day…crafts, coin hunt, playground, cornhole, pool. Clean, decent sites and the campground staff were exceptionally kind. If I could make one suggestion it would be to have someone at the front booth to check who comes in and out of the campground. I felt as though anyone could just drive in.

A week with friends at adjoining sites, my only issue was they would let me reverse my site stated tripping issues, but Tom and I never had a issue before, we have long power and water cords. the people here are very friendly and own a KOA closer to our home and we like that place also

Loved our stay. From the staff to the pool area, everything was incredible. Perfect escape. The Stay 3 Nights and Save deal was amazing and why we booked it. Plan on visiting again next season.

Great stay, lots of activities for the kids, beautiful pool area. Only issue I had was the $10 charge for a guest. Pretty steep!

Stay was great. Staff was great. The down side and a big one, The very nice dog being kept on the deck and being forced to poop there. Quite nasty to look at. Shame on them for not taking this poor dog to relieve himself.

We were going to boondock, decided to grab a campsite instead for the night. Happy accident. We think this place is a gem. Friendly vibe; quiet, peaceful, near the beach (they have a shuttle). We may be back to explore the area next year.

Great stay at Niantic KOA for the weekend. From check-in through our whole stay, the amazing staff went above and beyond. Parking passes for the beach were great, and the option to book a shuttle if we needed it was a great perk. The pool area was awesome with lots of space and even cabana rentals. Our kids enjoyed coin hunting, and the size of the park and campsites were perfect for our weekend.

What as wonderful KOA! Best we've encountered! Friendly staff, extra amenities like the shuttle and weekday waffles, great pool, well stocked store, everything clean. We're already reserved for the return visit.

Nice campground, lots to do there, pool was very nice, staff friendly and helpful. campground roads a little rough, and the gray water dump system is a little strange not sure why they don't have a sewer system there. But it is easy to get to and close to beaches and stuff to do in town.

The new cabins are well planned out with all feel of being at home. The kitchen is well stocks with pots and pans silverware, bowls plates and paper towels. I am looking forward to enjoying the pool and all the activities with my children next visit..Grear service from the entire staff and Ace is geat too.

Great facility and very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in a glamping tent that was excellent. Very clean, roomy and comfortable. A lot of things for the kids to do and right across the street from Rocky Neck beach. The pool was great as it was very hot over the weekend. will definitely be back.

Paid for a deluxe site with 5 night stay. Grill was dirty and side burner was receiving too much oxygen coating our pots and pans with soot. Complained to the office. No one ever came to fix it. Asked for our black tank to be pumped out. Again, no one ever showed up. Spent the last 24 hours walking to the camp restrooms. Adjacent sites were overcrowded, creating load noise well after quiet hours

I'm glad it didn't rain while we were there because it would have been a muddy mess. There was very little grass and the roadways needed some gravel to cover up the dirt.

Not a nice park. Overpriced. I never seen a septic system like the one at this park where you screw on a garden hose from your gray tank and stick it into a hole in the ground which will then overflow on the gravel around it. Not going back

We had a beautiful site. The camp had a shuttle to the beach and town. They had free passes if you wanted to drive yourself. Very nice pool. My granddaughters loved the coin hunt. The staff was professional and friendly

Roads are potholes and rough. Bathrooms need updating and a good cleaning. No air conditioning in the restrooms. There was a sewer stench at our site in the evening that was awful despite the fact that there were no full hookup sites around us. I wouldn’t come back.

As 1st time camper, the staff was very helpful and caring. We had a few hiccups, but they helped guide us through our questions and even hooked us up with a tech when our AC stopped working.

CHICKENS CHICKENS CHICKENS! Destroyed our trash can, a new bag of my daughter's bc she had snacks in it, and pooped everywhere, including our tables we cook on. Need to be in an enclosure, far from healthy. Store is minimal. Male staff member was friendly tho

We had a wonderful stay (in our RV). We found the staff to be incredibly helpful and very friendly. Campsites were clean and grounds well managed. Campground surprisingly quiet for a family campground. Lots to do in the area. All in all, a great experience and we will definitely be back.

The whole family liked this campground. My 3yo liked the pool (because it has a 1ft deep section), and the “shuttle” because it could take him to the local parks and “many playgrounds.” My husband also liked the complimentary shuttle to downtown and how friendly the staff were. If you are looking for a place with charm, friendly people, great activities, and awesome location to nearby amenities for all ages look no further!! The managers Ashley and Michael are super sweet and will help make your stay comfortable and memorable. All of the campground staff from the people tossing coins for kids to the people maintaining the office will help point you in the right direction

Great family campground. Have been going for 3 years. Delia always goes above and beyond to keep the little campers busy and happy while tending the store as well while always maintaining a cheerful and positive demeanor. Might consider an additional staff member on the weekends.

The Glamping site was great, all of the staff were helpful and kind, and the extras really make it a very special place. The tent site was rather small and gravelly but it worked just fine for our short stay there. Thank you for all that you do!

We were assigned a nice shady site in the campground. It was muddy due to heavy rain during our travel day. The internal roads in were rough shape but it looked like they were about to gravel them. Niantic is a cute seaside town that is worth visiting. It was easy to park downtown to explore the area.

This KOA is amazing. Very clean, family oriented. It has the best vibes in a great location. I try to stop here everytime we travel the coast. One of our favorite.

We stayed at Niantic KOA for five nights. It's very peaceful here. We sat out by our fire every night. Our space was large and included a fire pit, swing, table, chairs, and a wonderful bbq/grill. I used the camp-provided showers. They were clean and each room had a private shower, toilet, and sink. A wonderful bonus, each morning the camp provided breakfast, fresh waffles, fruit, baked goods and more. There are great beaches to visit. A short drive will take you to Mystic, CT. If you're up for a longer drive, Neport, Rhode Island is worth the trip. Enjoy your time at the Niantic KOA where the staff is friendly and helpful, and the trees are beautiful.

Easy access off freeway, but no road noise. campsites were a little close together, not separated by trees but not as close together as some places I've seen. Overall very pretty and well kept. Bath house offered private toilet/ sink/ shower setup with a bench and hooks for miscellaneous, very clean and well kept. There is even a separate dog washing station! I also saw a laundry building although I didn't go in. Lots of other amenities seen but not used as we were only there for one night. People, kids, and dogs were all well-behaved. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I def recommend.
