Great stay, Love the heated pool

The campground was nice during the day, and bathrooms were clean. At night, the races at the raceway one town over can be heard late into the night. The second night was quieter, but we were awoken by headlights shining in our tent. The KOA Owner (driving white SUV with KOA license plate) parked her running SUV facing our tent with headlights shining directly into our tent for out 25 minutes.

The staff was very nice. We loved the continental breakfast they offered. We enjoyed seeing the chickens in the campground. One recommendation would upgrade the restrooms and showers. That was the only downfall.

Pull thru space was not level. It took 4” boards to level out. When I booked I didn’t take note that there were no sewerage hook ups. Still don’t know what that garden hose with the sewer end cap was for. Should have stayed in a truck stop for the one night while traveling Not a very pretty place with all of the permanent rigs on the sites. This is not your usual KOA

It’s clean you can tell the newer owners are picking away at things and improving parts of the campground there’s nothing to complain about beautiful level spot took less time to level and hook up the camper easy to find our spot with the escort service and because it’s a 35-40 min ride from home we will likely be back to Niantic next season and I will be going to mystic as well.overall grea

Great staff! They even take you on the golf cart to the liquor store! Pool was warm! Our site and my friends site were great, they make it so we face each other and share the common area. Love the hidden coins :)

I had a fantastic experience at Niantic KOA and would highly recommend staying there to anyone. I stayed in a cabin. It was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff was so nice and the small touches like having someone escort you to your site was so nice.

Beautiful campground - disappointed that there weren’t enough campers for the rock painting and that no one knew what was on the pizza special also that the scannable code on the food wagon said they offered steak and cheese grinders since the cart menu did not show that.

This is what camping is all about! They make even just a weekend get away, nothing but fun and relaxing. Everyone who camps in CT needs to go see how this KOA brings the best of everything together. ou will not regret it at all!

Great amenties in and around the campground. Great location as it has hiking trails to the beach across the road, hiking trails in the woods, and the nearby town of Niantic. The bathrooms could have been cleaner and updated. The functionality of the shower and shower heads just doesn't work well

It was a wonderful time, and they make you feel like family. the workers and The owners are spectacular.The sites are large and it’s a very peaceful place. I can’t say enough good about this KOA. I will spend many more weekends and vacations here.

Had a newer patio unit which was nice. Didn't use their grill because it was rusted inside. Great staff and other amenities.

Very disappointed in the shower stalls near the pool...chipped paint, moldy shower curtains and cobwebs. Things around the grounds were not cleaned up. There was a pair of children's swim flugals on the pool deck (deflated) for the entire 2 weeks that I was there. Workers area trailers behind us were terrible to see each day. Not s good atmosphere for the amount we paid for two weeks.

We enjoy staying at Niantic, they have everything we need, ice, wood, pool, and events for the family. The shuttle to the beach is great. the only thing I would add/change is having a trash can at the dish washing sink. Thanks for making our stay great with the coins for the children, (and adults) See you next year!!

Very nice campground, place is well kept, bathrooms are clean and private. Lots of activities for the kids. We take advantage of the beach passes, they are a great perk!

We have enjoyed staying here for several years. The staff is friendly and puts for an effort to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, site 103 was very spacious, Cons: our site and the dog parked were not mowed, I know CT has had a good deal of rain but it made our site look shabby along with the swing which was in desperate need of cleaning and staining.

First time here ,Loved it. Went into Niantic had quesadilla's at Family Pizza, All employees very helpful from backing in trailers to bringing whatever you needed at your site. They had a shuttle to the Rocky Neck Beach which was perfect. Traveled to Mystic for Mystic pizza (great) stayed for 4 nights...good times

Facilities and amenites were the best we've experienced in a while. Everything was clean and neat. Staff was extremely attentive and we'd give a higher rating if there was one to give. Thanks!!!

We stayed in a Glamping tent. It was terrific! Nice site, clean, quiet, VERY friendly helpful staff. We were not completely prepared for camping so had to order food, as we did not have utensils for cooking on the gas grill provided. Bathrooms were very clean. The only thing we had issue with was the hours of the store/office. We had to be places in the morning before they opened at 9.

Very pleasant helpful staff. The coins that were scattered daily and turned in for prizes was a fun activity. The shuttle into town was great! One of the nicer KOAs we have stayed in lately.

The new cabins are beautiful, well stocked with everything you would need for a camping weekend, including dishes, pots, pans, silverware, spatulas, sheets, towels. The staff was wonderful annd very accommodating and helpful. We also enjoyed the activities with the kids and the amenities. The pool is beautiful. We had a great weekend. Thank you KOA.

RV site had a grill, patio set and swing. It was strange to not have a sewer hookup at the site. Appreciated the complimentary waffle breakfast each morning and the free shuttle to downtown Niantic. Store looked like it was undergoing renovations so the inventory was limited. Staff were very nice.

Great location with private tucked away site that came with a grill/patio chairs. The staffs were very friendly with lots of activities for the kids. Very dissatisfied with the rec area and outside needs good cleaning as well as It was very dirty inside and outside play area needs good maintenance as well. Otherwise overall a very pleasant stay and would come back.

My husband and I planned a stay with our children and grandchildren. We camped in tents. We all loved the pool, the kids had a great time on the firetruck ride, playing in the playground and the outside games, and mining for gems. We will be returning next summer for more good times - can't wait!

This KOA is amazing. Very clean, family oriented. It has the best vibes in a great location. I try to stop here everytime we travel the coast. One of our favorite.

We stayed at Niantic KOA for five nights. It's very peaceful here. We sat out by our fire every night. Our space was large and included a fire pit, swing, table, chairs, and a wonderful bbq/grill. I used the camp-provided showers. They were clean and each room had a private shower, toilet, and sink. A wonderful bonus, each morning the camp provided breakfast, fresh waffles, fruit, baked goods and more. There are great beaches to visit. A short drive will take you to Mystic, CT. If you're up for a longer drive, Neport, Rhode Island is worth the trip. Enjoy your time at the Niantic KOA where the staff is friendly and helpful, and the trees are beautiful.

Easy access off freeway, but no road noise. campsites were a little close together, not separated by trees but not as close together as some places I've seen. Overall very pretty and well kept. Bath house offered private toilet/ sink/ shower setup with a bench and hooks for miscellaneous, very clean and well kept. There is even a separate dog washing station! I also saw a laundry building although I didn't go in. Lots of other amenities seen but not used as we were only there for one night. People, kids, and dogs were all well-behaved. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I def recommend.
