This KOA is one of our favorites. The location is perfect for sitting on the beach or exploring all the shoreline has to offer. As usual, we were met with the best staff around, they always make a point to make sure you have everything you need. Oh and the new pool looks awesome!

We had a nice stay, despite terrible weather. Everyone was very pleasant. Very low key establishment. I appreciate the upgrades that have been made (pool area & restrooms) and the ones in process.

Once again we had a great time at this wonder campground I call home away from home. The staff are very friendly and always making sure everyone has what they need. The office is well stock and has a great collections of t-shirts and hoodies. Another great service they offer is to have your RV winterized which we did this past weekend. Missing you guys already see you in 2024.

Great location. Nice campground. Excellent staff. Fairly quiet (some road noise from CT turnpike at night). Restrooms well maintained, clean, spacious. Grey water line backed up (dirt, sand, gravel had washed into the ground drain). Would stay again if in this area.

We pulled in after hours to find Darren there to assist us by escorting us to our lot and making sure we had everything we needed. As it happened, our A/C cover blew off and we needed to cover it. Darren showed up the next morning with a ladder and enough plastic to cover the unit. He went way above any expectations we could ever have! He was such a pleasure to do business with.

Permanent sites out numbered daily sites which gives the campground a culture that isn’t welcoming. Never told about gray water drainage system. Deluxe site for $95 a night not worth the price. Someone also turned off our water after we hooked up.

VERY nice staff members. Quiet campground with no loud parties or music. Being able to now drain gray water at y one’s site is a huge plus.

Relaxing beautiful quiet deluxe campsite in far back of campground. Bathrooms beautiful new tiled immaculate. Will be back one more time before the end of season

Honestly, I was shocked by how incredibly friendly, gracious, welcoming and flexible the vast majority of the staff were at the Niantic KOA. John, in particular, went above and beyond to help me with the courtesy van rides, enabling me to have fun that would have been much more challenging if I had needed to drive myself. That van is a great service. Thank you SO MUCH!

By far the worst KOA Journey that I have ever stayed. Extremely tight for large rigs. Seems like a lot of permanent campers with very trashy sites.

We had a an amazing stay on our favorite site. The pool area is beautiful and amazing, Love the fact that is also a heated pool. We enjoyed the food truck, had a great lunch.

Peaceful quiet weekend. Wonderful pool. The owners and caretakers are awesome and extremely accommodating. All campers are friendly. We will be back next weekend.

Stayed for campers appreciation weekend. Staff was GREAT and friendly. Our site (back in deluxe patio) was beautiful and well kept. Didn’t use any of the amenities even though there was a lot! A bit pricey though.

Dogs in the room attached to the store were aggressive and only sealed out with a see through gate. Dogs on the back deck bark at every thing. It creates an unfriendly and Uninvited vibe. Even after the store clerk apologized he said the owners just leave them in there all day. They are at the pool. The owners seem very uninvolved.

This Koa has done many upgrades in the last couple years. They installed a brand new inground pool. The kids loved it. If you want to go to the beach they have a free shuttle to take you to the beaches and main street with restaurants and shops . Also they added some new pull through sites. This campground ranks right up there with other KOA we've camped at Stop in and check it out.

Okay location. Poor WIFI. Good cable TV. My site was long enough for the RV and toad. No sewer at any of the sites, you can drain grey water but not black. You have to use the sani dump on your way out. Washrooms and showers could use some TLC. Campground needs some money invested back in. Mostly seasonal campers, it feels like your in a low rent trailer park. Quite disappointing fo

Oh my gosh...year 2...even better than year 1!! Can't wait to see what year 3 will bring! Thank you all for being so wonderful to Willy and I . The addition of the pool this year was extremely awesome! We enjoy relaxing with a delicious meal from the food trailer!! You all are just fabulous!! Keep up the good work! See you in 2024

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We visit 2 or 3 times per year and it’s always a pleasant experience. They are always improving the campground.

Waaaayyyy too expensive with no black water hook-ups even though we booked a “full hookup” site. A lot of full time unit’s, which weren’t as well kept up as it should be. Mostly the price is too high for no available sewer lines, and they don’t mention it until you are parked at your site!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

As mentioned at check in. We do not claim to have full hookup and when you booked online it clearly states water and electric and explains gray water disposal (sinks and showers on site) We have tried to make it as clear as possible to all what the sites have on them.

KOA Niantic is one of our favorite campgrounds. From check in to check out the staff is amazing. The grounds are kept up nicely, restrooms and showers are clean and the new pool is just beautiful. You can see the continued improvements to the campground and how much the owners take pride in this beautiful hidden gem.

The campground was neat and clean, but the site was awkward. On our trailer the soil pipe is towards the front of the trailer and typically the cable, water, and electric are more to the rear. The site was set-up in the opposite way and forced us to park our car in the road when hitching and unhitching. The road was part exit for the park. Not a comfortable situation.

Unlevel sites, it rained and our site was flooded up to my ankles. Packing up was not fun. Getting out - you literally drive through a riverbed. The roads were washed out and lots of little streams through the one main road out that made trenches. Very expensive park for what it was. LOTS of very permanent campers.I gave 2 stars for the staff.. they were super kind and changed our check in date.

Everything was great EXCEPT the yellow jackets which were everywhere. There are sprays and also yellow jacket traps that can be hung up which might be helpful. We had 4 stings in our party.

Campground was amazing. There was so much for the kids to do at campground and in the surrounding area. The facility were very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpfull. I will definitely be coming back here!

Very friendly and helpful in the store very nice people. There are plenty of new people to meet and to be around. Theres plenty of walking room to enjoy a nice long walk with your friends and your family. Its a very dog friendly place along with the other pets you may have.

We had a great time at this little campground. Plenty of activities (tie dye, arts and crafts, treasure hunts , wagon/fire truck rides), etc) for kids (we had four, ranging in age from 6 to 9), is centrally located and has awesome staff. Shuttles to downtown and beaches are offered. Real restroom facilities/showers. Definitely needs some sprucing up but we would definitely return!
