Camp needs a lot of work. Long in the tooth. We were put into a relatively short drive thru site. When I asked the yellow shirted parking assistant about the availability of a different site, he said ‘all the other sites are booked’ even when many sites. On the Day 2, asked the same question with even more sites available. Same arrogant response - no attempt to satisfy a customer. Bad ser

This was the first time staying at Niantic KOA. The campground was very nice. The staff was exceptional and could not have been more helpful! We will be back.

Great location, easy on and off 95, large site was easy pull thru w big rig towing, site was level, bathroom clean, we were late arrival and they left our packet on the door, campsite and path to it was well marked on our map

Upon arrival they changed our site to a smaller site and we had trouble fitting in that site. The girl who greeted us was not the warmest greeter like we received at other KOAs. Beside that the place was well kept.

The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. The full size individualized bathrooms with a vanity, toilet, and shower were beautiful and squeaky clean. Plus another bonus, free beach passes to the town beaches saving us even more each day.

One of the best KOA’s we’ve stayed. We will return to stay longer on our way back from our Canadian trip!

The free shuttle into town was a great amenity. My daughter loved looking for the hidden coins. Very friendly staff.

We really enjoy our stay at this KOA. The sites are clean and the entire staff is fantastic! Every member of the staff is super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The campground even has a dog wash station. The location is great, close to the Cross Sound Ferry and many good restaurants.

We arrived Friday afternoon and checked in to a very warm courteous staff and then were then escorted to our site! Everyone working here is so nice friendly and helpful!! It was a very enjoyable stay and we will be back!! Great job �������

Niantic KOA is our happy place. The campground is well maintained, clean restrooms & shower facilities. The staff is AMAZING, friendly and work very hard to insure a great stay. We enjoyed our stay and we were able to enjoy the pool this time! The location is easy to get to area attractions. It truly is a one of our favorite family friendly campgrounds and we highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay in Niantic, the campground was clean and well maintained! The staff was very friendly and accomodating! We will definitely be returning again in the future!!

Very nice stay. Someone checked us in right-a way and brought us to our site. We noticed the campground making improvements. The new work looks beautiful. Everything was working well for our stay. The pool, playground, mini golf, fire truck look really nice. the kids were having a great time. I wish we had time to use the campground tour bus.

Overall nice place. They’re doing work, which made the campground a mess. The roads are very rough and sites are very tight in places. But the easy access to lots of places was great.

We had a great few days at the campground. Our kids loved all the activities and had plenty to occupy themselves. The facilities were clean and close to our site. All the people who worked there were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Very good service checking in and getting campground info. The rules are enforced, too, which is different from the state parks I usually stay in. They have a great pool with chairs and umbrellas, and the campground is spacious enough so that a tent camper like me still has enough room to not feel hemmed in by the much larger RVs. I hope to come back sometime soon with my kids and my grandson.

Friendly staff and great service. Great activities, the kids loved it. The pool was absolutly perfect! wow! The bathrooms were top when we checked-in thursday but got more dirty each day. The glamping tent was nice but the outside chairs and BBQ needed washing and I would of liked a closed floor. But overall, it was very nice and clean

everyone was so nice. loved having a shuttle. pool was great and very clean. bathrooms had shower stall in them as well. bathrooms were clean too. their campstore was pretty good as well. everytime i was missing just 1 thiing for cooking, they had it.

Love the staff, activities (especially the coins!), and the new pool area. I would suggest adding a clock to the pool area so it’s easier to keep track of time for when the activities start. I don’t want to keep pulling out my phone at the pool to check. We had a great time! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was our first time camping there this past weekend. There was so much for our family to do. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The entire campground was clean and organized. We liked it so much that we are considering becoming seasonals there.

First time at a KOA I am so glad me and my family was able to purchase this membership. Start with the club and went to this spot. It was wonderful. The people are so friendly literally almost you. Don’t even have to leave your particular campsite the guys come around they drop ice off to you, see if you need anything. Sevice is just unbelievable. The kindness that they have is just top-notch.

Loved the tall trees and activities that engaged kids. Bathrooms were clean . Roads need some improvements. May need more bathrooms. Lock on bathroom door should have an indicator to tell others it is occupied .

Campground is nice & we enjoy staying here. Bubba is overzealous yelling at people as they drive thru the campground. I witnessed several occasions of him yelling at drivers traveling at a very slow rate of speed & several occasions of employees driving golf carts at unnecessarily high rate of speed. The rear bath house is nice but the showers allow water to spread across the entire floor.

Such a beautiful campground. We had many friendly encounters with staff and guests. What made this location standout was 1) many nights a week, you can hop on their very own fire truck and take a spin around the park. 2) collecting pirate coins and tradng in for prizes, especially the elusive black coin. We collected 230, including the black coin. Great fun, and we're in our 60s!!!

All over all it was a really nice stay. �The bathroom could be a little bit cleaner.� Best thing is the shuttle to the beach.� I will come back on Labor Day weekend. Looking forward to it.

The campground was nice, though work was needed. The sites were a bit small given the cost. The wood and ice deliveries were convenient. Staff were very helpful. Equipment and unused vehicles were in plain sight. The cost was very high, so high I doubt we will return.

This KOA is amazing. Very clean, family oriented. It has the best vibes in a great location. I try to stop here everytime we travel the coast. One of our favorite.

We stayed at Niantic KOA for five nights. It's very peaceful here. We sat out by our fire every night. Our space was large and included a fire pit, swing, table, chairs, and a wonderful bbq/grill. I used the camp-provided showers. They were clean and each room had a private shower, toilet, and sink. A wonderful bonus, each morning the camp provided breakfast, fresh waffles, fruit, baked goods and more. There are great beaches to visit. A short drive will take you to Mystic, CT. If you're up for a longer drive, Neport, Rhode Island is worth the trip. Enjoy your time at the Niantic KOA where the staff is friendly and helpful, and the trees are beautiful.

Easy access off freeway, but no road noise. campsites were a little close together, not separated by trees but not as close together as some places I've seen. Overall very pretty and well kept. Bath house offered private toilet/ sink/ shower setup with a bench and hooks for miscellaneous, very clean and well kept. There is even a separate dog washing station! I also saw a laundry building although I didn't go in. Lots of other amenities seen but not used as we were only there for one night. People, kids, and dogs were all well-behaved. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I def recommend.
