This is an older KOA. Most sites only have grey water dump. Sites are not level. That said the management of this park is investing in upgrading and has lots of activities. Super close to many wonderful things to see, hiking etc. staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice KOA. Had a grill at the campsite, but I didn't use it. Spacious site. Quite a few permanent party staying there, but the transients like me were all in the same area. Rocky Neck State Park across the street, great to take a hike on the trails. K9 dog park. Dog wash facility.

Nice, quiet pull through site for our RV. Very nice staff as well. Only issue is that there are no sewer hookups but only a dump station.

It is obvious that they are working hard to do upgrades and will one day soon be a 5 star facility. Staff very friendly and accommodating. alot of really nice sites, I unfortunately did not choose a great one. .

Staff was friendly and professional greeting us upon our arrival. The camp host provided and reviewed the campground information. We were escorted to our site and our escort made sure we were parked in the best spot for our hookups. Water pressure was good, bathrooms were clean. There is no sewer hookup although there is grey water dump at the site.

They were very accommodating--we were visiting on-the-fly and they were able to upgrade us to a nicer spot, and were totally helpful all together. This is the second KOA we've stayed and I am still very satisfied.

This KOA is a mixed seasonal and transient one. It appears to be a work in progress as evidenced by heavy equipment on site. Some sections of the campground seemed fresh and new, like the pool, while others were worn and in need of attention, the playground for instance. Our site was fine with adequate space and level. The laundry was clean and had plenty of washers and dryers.

I love this place. I live in Niantic and staying here is like being on vacation in my own town. My two young girls love all the activities and the pool is wonderful. We will be back for sure.

Friendliest staff of a campground that we have we have ever stayed at..also the seasonal residents were very welcoming…for it being the “off season” the event schedule was jamb packed….looking foward to camping there again

We truly loved the staff from bubbles to bob and the young lady who checked us in, sorry forgot your name. the site was so very clean and the showers and bathrooms were immaculate. We plan on coming up again in the near future. Great place to stay. Oh yes, the food was absolutely delicious The size of the pancakes were just perfect and so so good. Thank You for letting us enjoy your camp ground

When being escorted to the site, they took me a route that was to tight with a Right and then A left turn getting me stuck between a 5th wheel and a Fire Pit, when they could have taken me straight and then accross to my site ... and the explaination was "well the computer picks the sites" so because of this you can't use common sense?

Couldn't get TV to connect to cable.(NO fault of yours) John came and did what he could do to rectify the issue. He is a great guy, loved chatting with him. If the company had a title of Ambassador of Niantic he would certainly deserve the title. WE will be back. Thanks!

We really enjoy this koa with 1 exception. Seeing the dog kept on the deck for 12 hours a day and smelling the piles of days old poop. We made tie-dye shirts next to this and overhead other guests comment on the smell. It was pouring and the owners were inside eating ice cream while Ace was trapped on the deck. It's heartbreaking and reflects badly on you that you treat your pet so poorly.

This was a great site for us as beginner RVers. The camp staff was so helpful and the neighbors kind. Our day trip was a visit to a Rhode Island beach but there were so many other options nearby.

From making the reservation, to speaking directly to the front office in regards to us being a late check in, things went smooth and quickly handled. Such a thrill and surprise to have John, waiting for us and leading us to our spot considering it was dark. That was a big plus and made everything go smoothly. Place is nice kept and great location.

We stayed 4 nights in a comfortable site. The staff was very helpful and understanding of a situation wherein our truck broke down. Overall the campground needs a bit of upgrades including better connections to the gray water disposal system. Place was convenient to highway and sites to see. Thanks.

I nice, small, family campground. We had a great time. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Excellent pool. My only complaint is the bathrooms are not the best. People are literally disgusting, they pee all over the seats and don't clean it up. I do not know why people like that even leave their house...the bathhouse and bathrooms need to be cleaned a lot more often.

This KOA is amazing. Very clean, family oriented. It has the best vibes in a great location. I try to stop here everytime we travel the coast. One of our favorite.

We stayed at Niantic KOA for five nights. It's very peaceful here. We sat out by our fire every night. Our space was large and included a fire pit, swing, table, chairs, and a wonderful bbq/grill. I used the camp-provided showers. They were clean and each room had a private shower, toilet, and sink. A wonderful bonus, each morning the camp provided breakfast, fresh waffles, fruit, baked goods and more. There are great beaches to visit. A short drive will take you to Mystic, CT. If you're up for a longer drive, Neport, Rhode Island is worth the trip. Enjoy your time at the Niantic KOA where the staff is friendly and helpful, and the trees are beautiful.

Easy access off freeway, but no road noise. campsites were a little close together, not separated by trees but not as close together as some places I've seen. Overall very pretty and well kept. Bath house offered private toilet/ sink/ shower setup with a bench and hooks for miscellaneous, very clean and well kept. There is even a separate dog washing station! I also saw a laundry building although I didn't go in. Lots of other amenities seen but not used as we were only there for one night. People, kids, and dogs were all well-behaved. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I def recommend.
