A great deal of construction noise everyday. We were put in a site right across from the construction work area while there were plenty of sites available away from where the Bobcats and other tractor equipment were going back and forth. Other campers were put in sites away from the work area. Also had to listen to a generator more than 3 hrs being used to power wash a 5th wheel and a golf cart.

Wifi signal can not accommodate TV streaming platforms. Price for non full hookups is a little high. Site sizes are nice and spacious.

Very nice campground. Restrooms and showers were very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The laundry room had 4 washers and 4 dryers. Would definitely stay here again!

Our campsite in the back of the property was very nice with gravel driveway, fire pit, and woods nearby. We did not have sewer but had a wet well for gray water. Rocky Neck State Park facing the Long Island Sound is adjacent to the campground. The campground overall, due campground construction as of May 2025, was a little messy. The campground roads are a little light on the gravel.

The washing machines in the laundry room were disgusting. There was fur and hair in the rubber on the inside.

Great location and our campsite was great. I love how they have a fun scavenger hunt game for the kids. It was a fun way for my grandson to practice counting and spending.

so friendly a lot of work going on daily to improve the park. SO SO quiet, great for us oldies and yet they had a lot for the kids to do. Will , for sure, visit again when in the area

What a beautiful campground! We knew it was going to be an awesome weekend right when we parked our RV & saw that you already had the grey water adapter & hose ready for us!! The site was exactly as what we wanted & right next to our friends. My daughter was at 92, the site was so perfect for their young family. The beautiful garden & waterfall was just perfect! We'll definitely be back :)

We stayed for 5 nights..The staff is amazing--we have stayed at KOAs across the United States. The majority had welcoming staff--but nothing matched Niantic KOA for a warm welcome, and helpfulness. The campgrounds are well planned and maintained. The free shuttle to and from town and beach is a one of a kind service. Absolutely will return!!

Typical KOA campground. Stayed here Memorial Day Weekend 2025. Nice campground, clean. I arrived after hours and a very nice gentleman took me right to my site, which I greatly appreciated since it was dark. Stayed with me while I hooked up my electric. The proximity to local attractions is great. A little pricey, but expected due to the convenient location right off I-95.

Campground was a little run down and the cable was not working and we paid for cable! The workers in the golf carts were very rude!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I am sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay. Someone was sent over to repair the cable when we were told it was out. Not sure about what staff was rude but will talk will share this with the staff. I see the early check in fee was waived and were able to check you in before check out time.

Stayed may 19 -23rd 2025, wifi did not wrk spot 124, but cable did, we were here not to watch TV, staff was extraordinary with helping with everything, absolutely loved it, the area has so much to see, unfortunately weather didn't cooperate, but we are planning trip #2 at niantic Absolutely recommend!!!!����� Ed & Kori New York

The folks that work there might be the most attentive and friendliest we've ever encountered at a campground. Even the WiFi is good and that almost never happens, which was key as my wife was able to work remotely without a hiccup. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed only 1 night but found the staff extremely friendly. They are doing a lot of renovations to the park which is really needed. They offer some unique services such as a continental breakfast every morning and shuttle service. Very nice features. I think it would be a great park for parents with children as they have a pool and passes to the nearby beaches.

This is by far one of the best KOA‘s I have stayed at they go above and beyond to make everything just right and they’re very pleasant, Happy people.Just what you want when you’re on vacation. I highly recommend this KOA for anyone wanting a friendly atmosphere and there’s plenty of sites to visit in the area.

Lovely staff! The place was quiet and easy to find. Sites were a little uneven, but after some adjustments we were able to get our motorhome level.

Staff were very friendly!. Loved the free breakfast. Good location to visit nearby sites. Shuttle bus a big plus. Several upgrade projects ongoing to the roads and various campsites made the place a little messing and roadways bumpy, but will be awesome when completed. Definitely will be a five star then. Thanks for a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Even though it rained hard, we were able to use our firewood the next night because someone from the campground had covered it with plastic for us. It's the little touches like that and the heated bed that made our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely return! Thank you Niantic KOA!

Ground super soft and our rig sunk in. Got moved to a new site but still sunk in. Also pool was open, but there were hoses in it so didn't use it. Nice quiet spot though.

We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful . The amenities were just what we needed: good bathrooms, showers and loved the shuttle to town. Plenty of site options for everyone. Would stay there again.Has encouraged me to stay at other KOA sites. Thanks everyone!

This KOA is amazing. Very clean, family oriented. It has the best vibes in a great location. I try to stop here everytime we travel the coast. One of our favorite.

We stayed at Niantic KOA for five nights. It's very peaceful here. We sat out by our fire every night. Our space was large and included a fire pit, swing, table, chairs, and a wonderful bbq/grill. I used the camp-provided showers. They were clean and each room had a private shower, toilet, and sink. A wonderful bonus, each morning the camp provided breakfast, fresh waffles, fruit, baked goods and more. There are great beaches to visit. A short drive will take you to Mystic, CT. If you're up for a longer drive, Neport, Rhode Island is worth the trip. Enjoy your time at the Niantic KOA where the staff is friendly and helpful, and the trees are beautiful.

Easy access off freeway, but no road noise. campsites were a little close together, not separated by trees but not as close together as some places I've seen. Overall very pretty and well kept. Bath house offered private toilet/ sink/ shower setup with a bench and hooks for miscellaneous, very clean and well kept. There is even a separate dog washing station! I also saw a laundry building although I didn't go in. Lots of other amenities seen but not used as we were only there for one night. People, kids, and dogs were all well-behaved. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I def recommend.
