All the kids in the big group loved the place. They were always active. The fun activities made it more memorable for them. For the Coin Hunt they came stringwr together so they could find more coins. They loved the pool and the beach is so close the camp grounds, it was a great plus! Everyone enjoyed the beach. The camp site were very spacious close the bathrooms.

From the moment you walk into the A frame they had smiles. The staff when riding around smiled and said hello. They even asked if the site was ok!!!! The grounds are clean . Not having sewerage and pumping out at the end well is a drag but no big deal its right when you leave so it's easy . Kids walking around picking up the coins loved it . We will be back the staff really make the place .

Definitely a typical KOA. No complaint other than they decided to take the fire truck out and honk the horn multiple times the last evening we were there. Scared our dog pretty badly. We likely would not come back for that reason. Children with autism would also have a lot of issues with them blowing the horn on that truck.

Great stay. One of the best campgrounds we've stayed at. If I had any feedback, it would be adults drinking in the pool. Only saw this once, but is against the rules and was not enforced.

The facility is old and outdated. The inablility to get full hookup will definitely affect my desire to go back. It appears that there are many seasonal and/or permanent. Some of these are grimy and in disrepair which does not help with the ambience of the campgrounds. One or two of the help were helpful and friendly but in general I questioned whether they were happy in their jobs.

Such a great place! Honestly speaking, probably one of the best KOA! The biggest advantage its family friendly atmosphere, employees very friendly and treating you with respect, the best to choose for families with kids. There are one very super clean swimming pool and play ground for kids.Overall, I liked every single day spent there and certainly would like to come back one day!

A nice stop for an overnight stay. Very convenient to I-95 for easy on and off. We had an electric and water pull thru site that had plenty of room. You can see improvements are on going. The pool area looked great and newly constructed sites were visible. Internal roadways were a little beat up but otherwise a good stop.

Grounds and amenities are sub-par they really need upgrading. One worker there told us not to put our new outdoor carpet on the lawn. I asked him what lawn? It was completely muddy. Just dirt. Then he kept singing Black Sabbath songs at the top of his lungs. He didn’t have any music with him. He was just singing it himself.

We have been there 3 times on the 4th of July. It is an excellent facility. The staff are helpful, polite, and tentative to all the attendees at the campground.. The camp is continually being upgraded. It is clean and well maintained. Lots of activities..

Always the best time at KOA. The facilities are clean, the staff is awesome and there are so many activities for kids! And adults (and kids as well) can enjoy the heated pool or a beach ��� A free shuttle is a nice plus! Cannot wait to be back!

Niantic KOA has gotten better each year! We first stayed there after the current owners just got it. Not a lot of frills, but great people. They have added amenities and features, still keeping their great customer service in mind. If I had to pick nits, it's that almost all the sites are grey water only. But if you know that going in, you adjust to accommodate and it's all good!

It appears that this particular campground is in the process of being improved; however, in the meantime, it's not quite up to par. I purchased a luxury pull thru with full hook ups and only learned afterwards that sewer is collected only twice a week. Any additional collections must be reserved with an additional fee. To make matters worse, they almost missed me. I had to ask.

The bathrooms were filthy. Did not enjoy the very loud horn on the fire truck that drove around camp. Maybe a bell would be less obnoxious?

The staff was amazing! They were so accommodating and friendly. They really went out of their way to help when I had problems setting up. The pool was great. We loved the music! You could even rent a large cabana at the pool with a TV.

This KOA is amazing. Very clean, family oriented. It has the best vibes in a great location. I try to stop here everytime we travel the coast. One of our favorite.

We stayed at Niantic KOA for five nights. It's very peaceful here. We sat out by our fire every night. Our space was large and included a fire pit, swing, table, chairs, and a wonderful bbq/grill. I used the camp-provided showers. They were clean and each room had a private shower, toilet, and sink. A wonderful bonus, each morning the camp provided breakfast, fresh waffles, fruit, baked goods and more. There are great beaches to visit. A short drive will take you to Mystic, CT. If you're up for a longer drive, Neport, Rhode Island is worth the trip. Enjoy your time at the Niantic KOA where the staff is friendly and helpful, and the trees are beautiful.

Easy access off freeway, but no road noise. campsites were a little close together, not separated by trees but not as close together as some places I've seen. Overall very pretty and well kept. Bath house offered private toilet/ sink/ shower setup with a bench and hooks for miscellaneous, very clean and well kept. There is even a separate dog washing station! I also saw a laundry building although I didn't go in. Lots of other amenities seen but not used as we were only there for one night. People, kids, and dogs were all well-behaved. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I def recommend.
