Our stay this Easter weekend was awesome. The new sites are full hook up sites and very spacious. People were at the new pool area and also playing mini golf as the weather was terrific for an April werkend. People are friendly and staf was very welcoming and helpful. We are back in August for a week and looking forward to our next trip.

Staff very nice and helpful. Full hookup sites very close together (long and thin - tough when bringing the dogs).

We arrived much later in the night than had planned. Everything was closed and dark but the host still popped out to show us our tent site, the restrooms, and asked if we needed anything. Very impressed and appreciative. Also, the restrooms and showered were very clean.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our site was very nice and easy to back in.

Unfriendly welcome. Overpriced. Got charged as a KOA Holiday, but it was barely a journey. Bathrooms near us were not heated on cold spring morning.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

not sure this is the right campground as we have a heated resort pool open this week for spring break, free continental breakfast during the week, free shuttle to downtown, and various activities. Yes, we are over priced if you are looking for a overnight parking lot.

I know you are trying to get your standards up. However you have to get rid of the broken down trailers and the garbage dump you are surrounded by. Very very disappointing.

We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. When coming in a few days after opening for the season we have not yet had the chance to unpack the campground from the winter and are still wrapping up site upgrades. We hope you come back in season and can see all the fun amenities we have added and do!

Although my stay was cut short due to a mechanical problem with my Trailer, the campground is in a great location and Management was great to deal with. Many improvements were in process and grounds were in good shape.

Owners were awesome! I was doing a woman's campout to help those that are unable to get a vacation and bless them. The owner was part of that by given us discounts here and there on day stays and overnight stays. May God Bless this KOA and Multiply their business to overflowing 2025 year. Hoping to go back again this year waiting to see what kind of deal they will have at Camp show.

Our site wasn’t very level and the electric worked, but there was very low water pressure. Most amenities were closed for the season. My biggest complaint of this campground and all KOA campgrounds is that political flags are allowed. We live in a bitterly divided country and everyone should be able to go camping without having political flags around them. It ruins the camping experience.

Best campground around! Actually feel like camping when we were kids. No open field with direct sun in you all day. The pool and patio are beautiful. The staff kept kiddos of all ages engaged in activities from coin hunt for candy to fire truck rides! The accommodations they offer to local areas amazing. You don’t have to find parking! Best place for friends and families to make memories

Some things were beyond campground control, like the no-burning ordinance. We were bummed both to be able to have a fire, but clearly understand. We did, however, have some difficulty, seeing whole walking our dog. At this time of year, it gets very early. With very little lighting around the campground, it was tough to see where we were going and what was around us and felt a bit unsafe.

Lovely site complete with bubbling water feature and duckling castings. Courteous, kind reception and so very helpful when our tow vehicle had a mechanical issue. We want to come back!

Thé place was acceptable for one or two nights, the two things I didn’t like was that there piles of rubbish everywhere, didn’t make the place look clean and the cost per night was excessive.

We've seen this KOA several times over the course of our son's enrollment at the Coast Guard Academy. We finally stayed there with our 24 Foot travel trailer. It was great. We're fairly new to the camping world, but found this campsite easy on and off of I-95. The hiking trails were great and the whole campsite was clean. Staff was extremely friendly.

The staff at this location were all very nice and friendly to our family. Even though it was late in the season, most of the activities were still going including some additions for Halloween. The only small negative was trying to leave, being a blind hill and a busy road, it was difficult to exit but not the fault of the KOA. All and all we would stay here again!

Glamping was great overall.Tv remote batteries didn't work all the time.Some leftover dipping sauce left in fridge and freezer had frost with some tree debris frozen into it-but not a big deal since our food was in containers.Bed comfortable,clean and tent spacious.Shower water not ever hot and group shower area lukewarm at best.KOA staff great and friendly-John very nice,welcoming.Felt safe.

Pros-Convenient location and Friendly staff. Cons- Have never seen a sewer hook up like this one. Very inadequate. 1/2 inch garden hose does not work well to dump sewage. Ours stopped up while we were out visiting the area. Appears that the campground is making some improvements, but new sewage system should be a priority.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

All our site are advertised as Gray water disposal. This is for Gray water only and not sewage as explained online and at check in. We have a dump station and mobile pumping for black tanks.

Nice size spot and very clean. There isn’t sewer hook up and this is just me, I wish there was. We were actually at a couple that didn’t provide sewer yes they have dump spot but full hook up to me means sewer hook up should be included! Other than that it was nice!

All our sites are water and electric with Gray water disposal. This is clearly stated and described online and at check in. We are looking at adding full hook up sites (with sewer) for 2025 season.

Definitely a KOA we plan to return to. Very nice campground layout and individual site. Great heated pool and Camp K9. Quiet and peaceful. Very close to local beach park to walk.

We loved our time at Niantic KOA. There was a real sense of community, the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. They had fun activities all weekend, including trick-or-treating, coin hunts, and rides in a firetruck! The heated pool was also a big hit. We would definitely stay again.

We arrived after hours. Our 6 hour day turned into 9 due to traffic, we were greeted and escorted to our site! He was kind and friendly after a day on the road! We left early the next morning but the park was clean and looked like a place we would return to!!

Great location right off I95 and across the street basically from rocky neck state park which is beautiful. Had a great time with the campers and the staff was excellent!

Great campground, looks like they have a lot of active upgrades in progress. Pool still open in mid October and set to 80°F! Bathroom's are clean and well kept, the campground seems to be well organized.

Had a fantastic time as always. The young lady doing the arts and crafts was PHENOMENAL! We have never had a bad time there. Highly recommend Niantic KOA!

From pool days to wagon rides, tie dying campground shirts to building your own stuffed animals….we def had a fun filled extended weekend. The campground has colored metal coins scattered all over that has the kiddos getting out and exploring to “buy” candies and knickknacks upon trade in. We'll be back to explore some more!!!

We have been coming to this camp ground regularly! We love the staff. If you need anything they are there to help. There are also great activities for the kids and many things to do on site. Would recommend going here!!
