This KOA was clean & the wi-if worked great! We were traveling and just stayed overnight. They let us know our site info was in the night Dropbox and we were in and out the next morning. Highly recommend!

This was just a quick stop for us, going from South Carolina back to Ohio, but it was the perfect spot. Easy to find, easy to get in, easy to pull through and leave in the morning. Thank you!

He was so great in helping us get a spot. We needed a long spot for camper and jeep and he had a perfect spot when we arrived. Bathrooms were clean and modern. Great place!

We had to make a last minute reservation for Newport due to weather changing our plans. Willis the camp ground manager is awesome!!!!! Told him RV size and type and when we would get there after hours. He met us when we pulled up at the office and took us to our campsite! The campground is very nice and the bath house was clean, sanitary and well laid out! Totally enjoyed our stay!

Too many tree branches to low on the State rd. Pool not open: Grass growing in the bottom The Websit said only one site was available and about 50% empty. GM was excellent, very helpful. From what we have seen from KOA. This one is not up to their standard.

MY STAY WAS VERY UNEVENTFUL WHICH IS GOOD. THE CHECK-IN WAS GOOD AND THE HOST WAS VERY NICE. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE POOL WAS EMPTY AS WE HAD DRIVEN A LONG WAY ON A HOT DAY AND EXPECTED A COOL SWIM TO END OUR DAY. WE SHOULD GET MONEY BACK FOR THAT. ON THE PLUS SIDE, THE REMODELED BATHROOMS WERE SUPER.

It was raining when we got there and raining when we left. It is a nice campsite but needs a little work. The pool was empty but they had new bathrooms attached to the front check-in, needed a code to get in. Shame we had so much rain but it cleaned the RV. Host was good about waiting for us to arrive before 6, we did with 10 mins to spare. Traffic and construction to get there was a nightmare.

Very nice place, we were there for 1 night. The gentleman who guided us in was awesome, kind and helpful. We had an easy in and out fhu pull-thru. The dog park needs mowing/care and while the bathhouse is beautiful and clean it needs to be more user friendly with a wider shower curtain, towels hooks at the shower, lights above the sink and place to put soap, etc. in the shower.

The workers were great and it was a relief to finally have a campground with shade trees after being on the road for two weeks camping in the direct sunlight. My daughter went to the office to mail some postcards and they gave her a free drink when she stopped by and again later when she went to check our laundry.

Friendly helpful staff allowed me to move my site where there was more shade. I stayed a month and one time the water went out. I also was disappointed that the pool was not open and the pond that was advertised was dried up. Thank you.

Sites are not level. Pool closed. Laundry closed. Stor closes early and not stocked. This is a camp you do not want to stop at. We had a 3 day stay left next day. Did not get a refund. Told the manager we were leaving o well Said do you want to move to an other site. I said no we are leaving.

Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. Yes our pool is closed we have a banner on our website. Our staff did offer to take you around to find a site that better suited you. Our laundry is not closed you need the code from your map to get in and our campstore is stocked with all essentials.

Older well kept campground. Some sites not quite level but easy enough to take care of when setting up. Staff very delightful and helpful! Kept riding around checking in people, offered advice for things to do in the area. Quiet, as Willis said "No drama!" Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

The staff was super friendly. I would recommend this campground for a rig that is under 30 feet long. It was not easy to navigate in our 41’ rig.

This KOA has many homesteaders and dogs roaming unleashed and unattended. I had to navigate dog poop from a large dog to hook up utilities. Not one pile, but multiple. My site was too steep for my leveling system to handle. Located beside I-40, it’s not accessible from the highway which may account for its need to take in homesteaders.

First and foremost, EVERYONE of the staff members were amazing. The reason for the low rating is that it was over 90 degrees every day and their pool was not open.

Although the gal in the office was absolutely wonderful, I think the others who worked there and I think the old man was the owner was WAY too picky on what we did. We were also SOOOO disappointed that the pool was not opened. They should have stated that on the website. Good thing our grandchildren couldn't make it. They would have been very upset. We would have cancelled if we had known.

We had a very nice welcoming when we arrived after hours. He showed us directly to our campsite and told exactly where everything was located. He also told us how to fix an issue with our camper. He went above and beyond to make our one night stay an enjoyment. The campsites were beautiful. Thank you.

Our stay was overnight as a stop-off. Staff (Rachel) was very nice. Sites ate gravel with grass and a little close to each other but not a show stopper. A lot of the sites have slope to them - again not a show stopper but frustrating when emptying tanks. The pool is a conundrum - it was empty and a sign read "Closed for the season, see you next year". It was June!

The staff (Willis, Rachel, Andrew and Earl) were absolutely fantastic. From the day we arrived to the day we left they were there if we needed them. The campground is taken care of beyond normal care. Every day I see them cutting the grass, trimming, cleaning up each and every site always making sure it’s 110% perfect. The bathrooms were very clean and the laundry room had new equipment. Best K

Nice site! A little tight with a 37', but easily handled. Staff was very friendly, restroom/shower was very clean. Pool was apparently a work in progress, being empty.

Very nice camp spot. Beautiful location among green trees and convenient to get to. The bathrooms looked like they had just recently been renovated and they are beautiful and spacious with a shower area with plenty of grab bars and privacy for anyone needing a little help.

Was welcomed by everyone (employee's and guest) at the campground. Grounds are beautiful and convenient with going places. We just happened to be there when they closed down 40 due to flooding, which was a bummer. Will probably be back next year.

Bathrooms are very clean and updated! We stayed memorial day and the park was very quiet despite being pretty full. Laundry facilities also clean and high tech. Staff communication was great. It was very clean and safe feeling despite my worries driving in.

Service was exceptional and friendly. Campground location was easy in and out from main highways. Campsites were grass with level gravel parking, pull through for convenience. Beautiful green oasis to relax in peaceful surroundings.
