Great stay overall and very friendly staff. Only issue was the site wasn't as level as I'm used to with KOA so it took a little maneuvering to get a place where the front wheels stayed on the ground.

It was for 1 night. Person running desk was ok she stated they was making some changes to please excuse the mess. No problem with that, but sites are TIGHT and we have a small camper. 13.5 ft no slide outs.

Possibly the least liked campground we have stayed at. Truck was blocking our site and made 3 trips around to find it . Not level like it said. 30 amp box had no braker to shut off. Not good for a connection. Water connection to low to the ground, hard to connect. Sorry but that is how I feel. First time I have complained about a campground. Have been camping for over 50 years. I am 82 . Sorry.

It needs signage at the exits so you know which way to turn. Visitors don’t know if Newport is right or left !!!!! The bridge you have to cross going into the park is so narrow and eroding that we thought our tow would go off the side. We are a big rig and have avoided the KOA’s of the world for that reason. Too many full timers who are sketchy. The staff were nice but not very helpful.

Campsite was relatively busy with a few long term residents. Unfortunately, one of these long termers took their dog out and let it defecate in the approach to an empty site. This is not a fault of the campsite but regulars need to be policed to clean up if they have dogs. Anyway, back to the KOA site, we stayed only one night in a FHU so didnt use the facilities but interstate noise is very loud!

Bathrooms are very clean and updated! We stayed memorial day and the park was very quiet despite being pretty full. Laundry facilities also clean and high tech. Staff communication was great. It was very clean and safe feeling despite my worries driving in.

Service was exceptional and friendly. Campground location was easy in and out from main highways. Campsites were grass with level gravel parking, pull through for convenience. Beautiful green oasis to relax in peaceful surroundings.
