Cabin ac didnt work. Staff was not accessible during posted hours.

Sorry that you had difficulties with the A/C in Cabin. It was working when we checked the cabin prior to your arrival as we turned it on that morning. Our staff while not always posted in the office due to demands of the park does leave a contact number on the door so that they can be reached 24/7

Staff is very nice and the bathrooms were clean and brand new! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the price is a little high.

Everyone I met, Willis, Rachel, and Andrew, was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. They work tirelessly to make the grounds look good and well kept. Willis greeted me after office hours and showed me to a clean cabin with a/c, a sink & toilet. Andrew helped me with car trouble for which I’m very grateful. The best KOA ever in every respect!

The staff (Willis, Rachel, Andrew and Earl) were absolutely fantastic. From the day we arrived to the day we left they were there if we needed them. The campground is taken care of beyond normal care. Every day I see them cutting the grass, trimming, cleaning up each and every site always making sure it’s 110% perfect. The bathrooms were very clean and the laundry room had new equipment. Best K

We stopped in for an overnight stay and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would stay again if going through that way.

Nice site! A little tight with a 37', but easily handled. Staff was very friendly, restroom/shower was very clean. Pool was apparently a work in progress, being empty.

Willace is great Very clean, relaxing and quiet place to stay Definitely recommend and definitely a great place to go back to when we are in the area . Only wish is that the spots were more level

Very nice camp spot. Beautiful location among green trees and convenient to get to. The bathrooms looked like they had just recently been renovated and they are beautiful and spacious with a shower area with plenty of grab bars and privacy for anyone needing a little help.

Was welcomed by everyone (employee's and guest) at the campground. Grounds are beautiful and convenient with going places. We just happened to be there when they closed down 40 due to flooding, which was a bummer. Will probably be back next year.

Staff was great! Location great! Definitely improved over last year but the pool being shut down was a big disappointment. That is a very important amenity for us.

Our stay was fine and the campground was clean and quiet, however it definitely wasn't worth $50 for a tent site. The women's bathroom has only one shower, the pool wasn't open (even after memorial day), and the laundry machine was down. We generally find it worth it to spend the extra money for a KOA, but with the lack if features here it would have been better to stay at a truck stop.

Camp ground is located close to highway and trucks jack break. Quiet times were not enforced as people started their vehicles at 5:30 or 6:00. They are evidently there on a work crew.

We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay with us. Unfortunately, we are located right off of I-24 so there is traffic noise. We do have contractors that are staying with us as they rebuild the area from Hurricane Helene. We hope you will give us another chance down the road.

This is an easy in-out for someone who’s looking for a place stop for the night right near I-40 between Asheville and Knoxville. Restrooms are new, clean and water was hot. Also has a nice laundry facility. Good spot to kinda reset or rest along your route.

Or stay was amazing. The staff was phenomenal, the grounds were clean and very well maintained, and the bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever experienced at a KOA. The only feedback would be to ensure that each site's water is tested. I had to flush the water spigot for 10 minutes before clearing rust from it. After that I put on my filter and it was all good!

We got in late and the person we called to let know we’d be late said they’d try to stay up to guide us. I was absolutely blown away when we pulled in near 11 pm and he met us at the entrance and not only guided us to our spot, but provided light and support while we hooked up for the night. It was a one night stay and we left relatively early the next morning- but his help it meant so much to

Very friendly and helpful staff. Called the office to let them know we would be a late arrival. Arrived at 9 PM and a staff member was waiting for us to escort us to our campsite. Very nice campgrounds :-)

Site are not numbered, everything is very close together, pond is a mud pit covered in barbed wire, the cost is outrageous for services, and it is SOOO LOUD. it is right next to a very busy highway, bring earplugs.

Our visit was unplanned as our truck broke down and we had to be towed. When we called to see if they had spots available, they made sure we had a pull through so ir would be easier for the tow truck. The employees there were so friendly and very helpful. The other campers offered their vehicles for us to go get food. Everyone was truly a blessing!

The gentleman who checked us in was fantastic and extremely helper the setting was beautiful. They are doing many many upgrades and improving the restrooms but at the time we were there, there were only two available with showers and they were quite old other than that it was very, very nice thank you

Only stayed one night, but found this KOA a very quiet and pleasant place to stay. The staff was outstanding and went out of their way to ensure that you were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again on our way to and from Nashville to see our granddaughter.

Loved our experience staying long term at the KOA in Newport Tennessee. The manager Willis was awesome. He was watchful and helpfull. If there was a problem he was on top of it and solved them.

We had to find a place to park our RV since I40 had a major delay due to a landslide and flooding. Right before Ashville. It was 8pm and tired, we were running behind due too traffic in Knoxville. We call the Newport KOA because the KOA app had a note to call if passed closing. Mr William, the host answer and was able to get us a site. To top it off, the next day we had a dead battery. Even though it was Monday his day off he came over to jump start the truck. VERY NICE AND GREAT SERVICE 👍. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

It was an amazing campground to stay in the Smokies! The staff went above and beyond for us and we really appreciated it. Would recommend staying here you won't regret your stay. Felt like staying with a good family member!
