Fixing up the park great. Stayed for about 5 weeks and everyday new additions and improvements. The laundry facility is great. New machines and always clean.

I have a 36 ft Class A and flat tow a car. The entrance to the campground has an incline off the road and the tow bar drags going in and worse leaving. The site we were in was difficult finding a level spot even though it was a long site. The campground is nice but more suited for travel trailers.

This is our 3rd KOA we have stayed at on our summer vacation and we werent going to make it to check in before the office closed so we called and the staff were so polite and helpful and just wonderful. When we arrived to the KOA it's tucked back off the hwy and it's really nice. New owner is still doing some touch ups but nothing was an inconvenience. The cabin was clean, beds already made..nice!

The staff are very courteous and helpful. The park is very clean. When it comes to the pro's and con's. The only thing in the con's list, would be the noise from I-40.

Memorial Day at KOA, Newport was so much fun! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The campsites were new and very nice. The bathrooms were clean and well kept every time we entered! The showers had great temperatures and pressures! The store had everything you could need! The Memorial Day activities were so much fun and the band added to the fun and laid back atmosphere! Will come again!

Surprised that is so beautiful with so many trees and amenities for a Journey facility. We could hear the freeway but the dense trees cut down the noise.

Our family stayed for two nights. We had such a great time! The staff was so friendly and helpful. There was a playground for the kids and a dog area. There was even a pool for everyone to enjoy.

We enjoyed staying in your cabins! They were quaint and cozy and in a great location near the playground. The staff were super nice and helpful. However, the only downside to our stay were the other kids around who seem to be there long term. They were very rude to our children - using inappropriate language, throwing things at them, and being loud seemingly to simply disrupt our time together.

Camp needs some upgrades but we give them 5 stars because of their outstanding management service. We will return here on the our way back to California

We liked the surroundings (green trees with shade), the way the sites were spread out, hilly with up and down ways to walk. Would not mind spending more time there. We just did single nights. Did pull-through which was nice. The weather was cool. We would definitely like to stay again.

Comfortable cabin, great shower rooms, friendly staff, unlimited free coffee. Would definitely stay again. Also they are making some great improvements.

Camping spot was nice, level and easy in and out. Cable TV worked well. Wifi worked at the office area, not at the camper. Pulling in off of highway 25 my hitch drug on the road. Used the car wash entrance when leaving and it didn't drag.

Honestly it is a lovely park and with the new ownership you can see a lot of improvements being made. The bathrooms are clean. The laundry has newer machines. The employees are incredibly nice. The ONLY issue I had was how unlevel the sites were. Lots of blocks for one side because tires off the ground and solid steps extended all the way and still not enough for legs to hit the ground.

We have used this campground as a starting point of many trips. It is always clean and easy to check in as we usually arrive after 9pm. We were just saying we need to stay more than one night because it’s a great location to access gatlinburg and the park.

The people working there were extremely nice, but it's an old campground in the middle of a major renovation. Our tent site was so slanted that my daughter completely slid off her sleeping pad. Need much better sound barriers on the spots next to the highway. Store has basic KOA fare, but not much else. Good - only a few miles from a Cracker Barrel & bathrooms were OK, Showers were great.

Sadly the park lost power because of bad weather and we left a day early. The folks at the park were great about refunding our money for one day. We couldn't get level to save our lives. Our jack blocks disappeared into the gravel. The rain probably had something to do with that. It's a nice park but driving a 45-foot motorhome with a tow vehicle through the tight turns was not much fun.

When I first arrived the assigned slot I was given was not correct for my 44' toy Hauler. I called in and the staff was great came right out and directed me to a new site which fit very nicely. They led me there on the best route and guided me into the spot. Very nice Service, I would visit again.

Just passing through, wasn’t there very long. App was easy to sign up for camp site. Late registration was simple, too. Signs were easy to find site even late at night.

THE HIGHWAY WAS VERY LOAD ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT! WE STAYED THREE NIGHTS & IT WAS HARD SLEEPING WITH THE HIGHWAY TRUCKS & CARS!

Bathrooms are very clean and updated! We stayed memorial day and the park was very quiet despite being pretty full. Laundry facilities also clean and high tech. Staff communication was great. It was very clean and safe feeling despite my worries driving in.

Service was exceptional and friendly. Campground location was easy in and out from main highways. Campsites were grass with level gravel parking, pull through for convenience. Beautiful green oasis to relax in peaceful surroundings.
